It’s a fine line! The appearance of money is almost as well regarded as REAL money in those circles! Even though Michael’s own house is modest (by BH standards), he still has nice watches and cars, i.e. the appearance of money when in public! Adam is no dummy and he’s a fast learner, he’ll get there too with Michael’s help. This is how it is in SoCal! Admittedly it’s not for everyone!
