      “If...” the first of Lindsay Anderson’s film trilogy featuring Malcolm McDowell as our hero Mick Travis on his journey through life. Great stuff, and a lesson for today’s Covid Rule Takers and Rule Breakers. Who’s side are you on? th-cam.com/video/2FahMGaCoow/w-d-xo.html

This is a tune I have heard many times since then and didn't know that it was the same hymn! Totally enjoyed your talents! Thank you!

    • @RobCharles1981

      Thanks for that, most modern nowadays have a Solid State Capture System where you can set your own stops this tends to be on larger organs such as this one! :-)

    This tune fits a hymn that I know and love well: Let Zion in Her Beauty Rise
    Let Zion in her beauty rise;
    Her light begins to shine.
    Ere long her King will rend the skies,
    Majestic and divine,
    The gospel spreading thru the land,
    A people to prepare
    To meet the Lord and Enoch’s band
    Triumphant in the air.
    This hymn is in the LDS Hymnal with this tune.

    A-Major and A-Natural are the same thing. ("Natural" simply means not sharp or flat.) My point was, the key is not B-Flat as stated in previous messages.

      Yes indeed Rob. This key is usually obtained when one crosses John Travolta with The Fonz, i.e. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAY" fever! :D
      [sorry about that one Rob -- I couldn't resist! Just FYI, the organist at the church I go to (St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Shrub Oak, NY) usually plays this hymn in G major. I first learned of this hymn as "Go, Make Of All Disciples" when I was vacationing in Chicago in August 1995 -- I attended Mass at Holy Name Cathedral which is located in the city. I also know this hymn is sometimes called "I Sing The Mighty Power Of God"]
