had shit loads of laughs with the olson episode but i really think I'd die halfway a smolik episode. dude's too damn funny and must have stories for days
I been buggin them for a while now to do this. It will be the best show hands down. I have faith that it will happen especially since they have had Brandon on now.
Excited for this one. Brandon was full on one of my favorite skaters growing up. I remember having a board of his where he's holding up a piggy bank over his head learning heelflips and mastering bs flips just because I felt really good riding that board.
For sure, also considering he almost fell off his board before hE popped. Sure, some of these other tricks may be "harder" but there's no question that BT's sw hardflip is one of the best looking tricks down Carlsbad PERIOD.
Oh hell yes. Had to go back and watch a few of Brandon's clips before this one. He was so sick back in the day! That quintessential buttery style of the late 90's/early zips... Glad to see him out of the clink and still rolling.
Brandon Turner is a true legend and skateboarding I grew up watching this guy's skate and this is such a great interview he's been through so much and it's amazing that he still here to tell his story and still able to skate true inspirations he's truly blessed and to laugh about it is even better :)
I like how you all touched on the jail and criminal aspect. I too skated way young, but after quitting got in trouble allot. really enjoyed this episode alot. thanks!!!!!!
I've been waiting for Brandon Turner to be on the show. Dope !. His switch hardflip over the Carlsbad gap was probably the best thing I've ever seen on a skateboard til this day.
Sick. Shout out to Brandon for being a tenacious human being. Beyond skateboarding this dude kills it. Thanks for doing this interview Brandon and thanks for doing Rolling For Rights!
LOLOLOL wait how are y'all not dyinggg that Ty miraculously saw n then decided to grab onto a fkn sea turtle n majestically surfed it back to perfect safety when he wouldve otherwise drowned ????
I think of Shorty's whenever Brandon pops up. Hyped to see a Turner manual clip. Anyone else think Brandon's style of speech shows a little Asian influence? I've never herd a black guy speak through their nose as much him, and that's an Asian trait.
Also, Shorty's is NOT dead, and its a bummer you talked on it like it was. They have a website with some gear and hardware, and even a few boards. They started as hardware and just went back to that.
My duuuude! He's the reason I wanted learn hardflips when I skated. Damn I miss it. Luv u Brandon. Been my favorite skater since fulfill the dream. U seem like an awesome guy too.
i used to watch this dude skate when he was still super young at the santee park every day and even back the he was the most consistent dude i ever saw on a board but not the least bit humble about it at the time 😆
This dude's "little kid" style was better than most skaters will ever achieve in a lifetime! To see him coming back the last few years after dealing with his shit makes me feel young again! Fuck yeah B!
I feel like Roger probably has some connection to the dude from the east coast but a Quim Cardona episode would be dope. Dude is so underrated and cool. Also I’d love a Gershon Mosley episode.
Came here after the Stop And Chat to hear the turtle story. Not a good idea to be listening to that story while driving cause I was dying laughing - everybody on 101 must've thought something was wrong with me 😂😂
Steve Olson is still skating and still gnarly as ever. He’s not sponsored as far as I know he’s focused on his rap career goes by crazy monk. He was working out here at my local skate shop for a while that’s how I bumped into him for the first time. Cool ass dude super down to earth he’s out here in Washington doing his thing
I always loved B Turner's style...since I was a kid and he was on Shorty's. He was in my top 5. Hyped for this episode! Also, you guys should try to get Corey Duffel. His personality is awesome.
Who else was listening to the podcast and then heard everyone randomly laugh and came to watch the video then died of laughter after realizing what it was
Brandon might have one of the wildest stories I've ever heard anywhere. Top 5 episodes right here.
Watching this again now and holy shit these stories are wild..
Yes, get more Sk8Mafia guys on here!
SKATE 4 LIFE !!! Now get the god damn Peter Smolik on the show !!! great job gentleman
fuck man 3 hour smolik podcast would be DA BOMBBBB
had shit loads of laughs with the olson episode but i really think I'd die halfway a smolik episode. dude's too damn funny and must have stories for days

I would kill for a Smolik ep. Hyped on this one too. If you don’t know, now you know.
I thought he did an episode already
Excited for this one. Brandon was full on one of my favorite skaters growing up. I remember having a board of his where he's holding up a piggy bank over his head learning heelflips and mastering bs flips just because I felt really good riding that board.
Andres Alfonso that was his first pro board! SDPD tickets falling put of the piggy bank! Good times
I liked how he’s still pumped on skating,. A lot of these get me kinda bumbed when the interviewee’s are “over it”
Brandon’s a Beast🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Best trick ever down Carlsbad...switch Hardflip!!!!
I've always thought Tyler Bledsoes big flip was one of the best. So clean.
Dixon’s nollie heel too
Let’s not forget Cody McEntire’s nollie big heel
For sure, also considering he almost fell off his board before hE popped. Sure, some of these other tricks may be "harder" but there's no question that BT's sw hardflip is one of the best looking tricks down Carlsbad PERIOD.
damian jenkin what is sfsf? You mean his switch fs flip?

Oh hell yes. Had to go back and watch a few of Brandon's clips before this one. He was so sick back in the day! That quintessential buttery style of the late 90's/early zips... Glad to see him out of the clink and still rolling.

I've been waiting for Brandon Turner to be on the show. Dope !. His switch hardflip over the Carlsbad gap was probably the best thing I've ever seen on a skateboard til this day.
