I've been using this Ultrabook for a few months now and it's been pretty good, definitely above average performance with unbelievably long battery life. One downside is the cooling, it tends to overheat very easily 30 min into normal office work and I wouldn't recommend keeping it on your lap unless you are looking cheap alternative to vasectomy.

Everything about this laptop is great besides the 16:9 ratio screen. They screwed that up big time. It's 2022 so they should have at least went with 16:10 or 3:2 screen.
Great review! As always, very informative and helpful. I was hoping you'll open the back and show the inside of the laptop. Can you confirm if the ram is soldered on the motherboard or upgradable?
Hi there , hope you're well. Thank you taking time to do a great review. I am in the market for a new laptop. Do you think Dell would be coming with an upgrade anytime soon for the ram, from 16gb to 32gb. Thank you for your reply. Cheers
@@artyomsichkar3457 For any kind of work including typing, coding, working with spread sheets, you want more vertical space. You can also fit more UI elements, toolbars, etc. on screen without it shrinking your usable working space too much. It's just more convenient than 16:9.
Latitude is always considered chunky, tough business laptops with average performance. This looks like a refreshing change with a lot of features. A lot of good stuff!!!
Bottlenecks in performance vary upon configuration, use-case, workload and other very specific variables. True, but it gets quirky with a 2in1, if they were on top, the speakers are now facing backward and away. Many companies end up going with quad speakers to solve that.

Are you taking it with you everywhere you go and need lightwight design? Are you trying to connect it to your business network? Are you trying to use vPro to remotely manage it from your vacation on the beach? Latitudes are meant to be managed at scale, where inspirons etc are not. (Dell Client Command Suite, natively run within SCCM, KACE, landesk(quest) etc.) If the answer to all these questions are no, then you must REALLY like it to pay that much for it. technology directors need solutions they can manage in a single pane of class 1:many, where consumers do not. 1:1.
Have you had any issues with support in the past? How long do you keep your laptops for? Do you need/want presence-sensing? Is lightweight and small important to you? Do you need NVMe PCIe SSD?
