Some people look for a beautiful place, others make a place beautiful. This is how we feel watching your wonderful video....thanks for sharing dear!!!!
Thats nice. Hope they add more painted lanes all over the Philippines and widen the roads. Cause drivers just keep hugging the road like they own it or something.

What a beautiful bridge in Metro Manila!!!! Hoping that soon to be constructed bridges in the capital city will be like that so that it would be pleasing to the public eyes. However, more signages would be recommended so that motorists that would love to cross the bridge will know where to enter.
We're actually not so sure if we can apply that in some or probably most parts of the country. We're in the pacific ring of fire, the soil might not handle all the structures if we put undergrounds. Tho, I'm also hoping we can.
Good day everyone! I am so happy and glad to share this because we from 10K Concrete Mix Specialist, are very lucky to supply the ready mix concrete on project thru China Road and Bridge Corp as the contractor. from the start of our first bored pile we were there till the last pouring of sidewalk. During the inauguration, I was invited and I saw personally PRRD as he is the guest speaker. Grateful and thankful because during pandemic we were able to deliver the RMC. thank you and there is BBB program by Pres. Duterte.

I miss this area...going to the immigration every 6 months for visa extension (did NOT miss it then lol) and eating Chinese across the river. This bridge would definitely save time back then. I bet traffic will still build up over time, but nice seeing the place.
Philippines is way behind in thinking. Where the rest of the world is focused on good mass trainsit trains and subways (NY, LA, Europe, Japan, Korea, SEA, the rest of the world), PH is still thinking of roads. Check out the book, Race Underground and you'll find out how roads always get filled out eventually. From that book, you'll see how NY built so many trains around its cities, and how property values around them increased compared to building roads which depreciated the value of homes as they obstructed views. Roads mean more carbon emissions, too, unless PH switches to electric cars. In the US and China, they're going electric.
@@denniszenanywhere But obviously better than before, you know the previous administration without roads, bridges, and infra projects at all. So this is a VERY good start so to speak. And yes, your concern re trains, railways, and etc they're all part of the Build Build Build lineup of projects hence the importance of continuity of leadership and sustainability of governance.
@@junkjournaldavao yes I know they’re building a subway system which is the best thing they thought of. Other money could have been spent in focusing on a train system everywhere in the country like in Europe. Also in the works I heard but just too many roads being built. But I know why they roads are being built. For making money on toll fees. That’s the ugly side of privatization. They want to make money of course and trains will not as much as for these private companies.
@@denniszenanywhere can’t make Filipinos happy. No matter who sits in power and what improvements they make all they do is complain. They point to the problems without coming up with actual actionable solutions. They make suggestions of what should be done without showing how it can be done. Roads and public transit go hand in hand and you can’t just put train lines everywhere because at some point people have to use roads to get home. You also can’t ship goods for the market in public transit and that’s another reason why roads need to be improved.
Manila should not allow tricycles in the main roads. Some of the big cities in the provinces don't allow that. Why Manila, the capital city, cannot implement a strong guidelines against tricycles.

Last time I was in Binondo was in 2019, stayed at the Red Planet, just a stone's throw away from this new bridge, but didn't know that this bridge was already under construction. Seeing it now, no wonder, both its on and off ramps are well hidden away from the main thoroughfare, and the on ramp on the Binondo side seems particularly awkward in having to take a 180 degree U-turn to go up. Given its obscurity and awkwardness, I highly doubt that it will see much use. Hopefully I am wrong.
The bridge itself is impressive but the on and off ramps leading to it sadly destroy the character of intramuros. Plus an unprotected bicycle lane next to expressway like roads, only the most daring cyclists (or motorcycles) would actually use that. It is good that we're getting traffic solutions, it's just that they're prioritizing private vehicles
That is the result of no planning, or there were plans but weren't implemented in the early times when spaces were still available. Now, you do what you have to do with what you have of there being limited spaces available. That is the reason why Duterte implemented the Build Build Build program while it is still not totally too late.
i dont think it destroyed the character of intramuros as it is not visually distracting if you are standing inside intramuros. You cannot actually see the bridge if you are in intramuros.
I think the cable wires should be in underground look at davao eventhough they are developing cities but still the cleanliness and disciplined of people are amazing i think it should be implemented in the bigger cities like metro manila and cebu and jeepney's and tricycle shouldn't be in the rich cities like makati and also motors public transportation like buses should be and only cars must roam around .
Pinaka worst tingnan talaga yung pagka kabit ng mga cable sa poste ....parang nkakatakot tingnan, kailan kaya to mapapalitan at maidadaan sa under ground para nmn mas safe tingnan at maganda pa
Manila, the capital city, despite of its financial capability and the privilege of centralized government is very dependent on the national government to beautify the city. Meanwhile, some big cities in the Provinces need to work their asses off without the help or minimal help of the national government in order to beautify their cities.
Nice but I dont see signs to the Bridge. That is what is lacking in the Philippines. Beautiful new roads and bridges and highways but very inadequate signs.
Inikot talaga ang Binondo instead of making a direct route. If there's any consolation, you'll get to pass the Pasig River on a new bridge. Hopefully, not a TOFU construction, as the Chinese are known for their projects

Good day everyone! During the inauguration, I was invited and I saw personally PRRD as he is the guest speaker. Grateful and thankful because during pandemic we were able to deliver the RMC. thank you and there is BBB program by Pres. Duterte.
Beautiful Binondo Intramuros Bridge. Already open to decongest traffic. Excellent video. Full watched. Watching from Dubai.

@@denniszenanywhere Then you stay out of the Philippines, easy.
I Hope to visit this beautiful bridge very soon. Thanks for update. God Bless you❤

Have a nice day.
Manila should not allow tricycles in the main roads. Some of the big cities in the provinces don't allow that. Why Manila, the capital city, cannot implement a strong guidelines against tricycles.

It is similar to Loay bridge in Loay,Bohol
Wow 🙂🥰😍
Last time I was in Binondo was in 2019, stayed at the Red Planet, just a stone's throw away from this new bridge, but didn't know that this bridge was already under construction. Seeing it now, no wonder, both its on and off ramps are well hidden away from the main thoroughfare, and the on ramp on the Binondo side seems particularly awkward in having to take a 180 degree U-turn to go up.
Given its obscurity and awkwardness, I highly doubt that it will see much use. Hopefully I am wrong.
Metro Manila needs gentrification. Please bury those unsightly utility cables underground and you have a pleasant-looking metropolis
Not gentrification but we do need underground cables. Gentrification would make our cities more expensive to live in
Thanks for sharing this. I see this was recorded on a Wednesday, please also indicate the time it was filmed. Thanks again!
Ganda sana maalagaan mabuti maiwasan ang vandalism
Ganda naman ng view kuha mo brad..
Ganito na pala hitsura ng Magallanes drive. 1990's dito ako nasakay ng bus papauwi ng Pacita Complex at may terminal dyan ng bus. Nostalgic.
What do u mean by expressway-like? Speed limit is only 40. You can very well traverse it with your bike along with the cars.
so much negativity in your brain. theres a speed limit on that bridge. smh typical duterte hater
Love from indonesia
wow !!!
Wow...♥️♥️♥️
Duterte lang sakalam!!! Ty DPWH for this project!
🇵🇭
Pinaka worst tingnan talaga yung pagka kabit ng mga cable sa poste ....parang nkakatakot tingnan, kailan kaya to mapapalitan at maidadaan sa under ground para nmn mas safe tingnan at maganda pa
Manila, the capital city, despite of its financial capability and the privilege of centralized government is very dependent on the national government to beautify the city. Meanwhile, some big cities in the Provinces need to work their asses off without the help or minimal help of the national government in order to beautify their cities.
Electric wires should be underground. Magulo tingnan kahit gaano kaganda.
Well done Mayor Duterte! Thank you!
Salamat tatay digong the best president
Nice bridge for over looking the portion of Manila sea as another sight seeing area?!
Nice but I dont see signs to the Bridge. That is what is lacking in the Philippines. Beautiful new roads and bridges and highways but very inadequate signs.
Those overhead cables need to go😐
Parang Singapore

Tour From Home: STONKS!💵💵💵💵
Inikot talaga ang Binondo instead of making a direct route. If there's any consolation, you'll get to pass the Pasig River on a new bridge. Hopefully, not a TOFU construction, as the Chinese are known for their projects

It's one way road or brigde, right?
Philippines x China Flags are Nice
How about going to Ongpin from Intramuros? Turning left from Rentas to Juan Luna is out of way.
What day and time did you take this video?

isko, yung tulay magkano kaya mabenta?
What does local filipino call those blue, red and white tricycle tuktuks?
It’s nice to have that bridge. But the design should have been one of a kind. The bridge is a mini version of the Lupu Bridge in Shanghai. Oh well.
Exactly
Oh well. It's 100% funded and built by... guess who. Can't ask for that much.
It's ridiculous how long it took. In Japan, this would have been finished in a week or two.
