It's not possible to even have negotiations with Russia, Zelensky passed a law forbidding it, so...

Putin has said there will be no MINSK agreements. He is well aware that one has to be ruthless and play hardball with the US and the west. He is not asking for negotiations. It is the US and EU that is talking about negotiations - after rejecting Istanbul in 2021. They have realised that Ukraine and the west are defeated.

One-sided view of the problems. Have we look into history to find out what Europe and Nato has done and is doing to Russia. We should be objective in analysing issues and not to act or comment hypocritical. Nato is guilty in the Ukraine war.

The victim is also guilty. When it got independence from Russia, it agreed to be a neutral state and not join any military alliance. But after the US sponsored coup of 2014, it changed its constitution and put joining NATO as an objective. It agreed to be a proxy to threaten Russia, and it agreed to fight a proxy war for the US. Ukraine is as guilty as the US, it is not an innocent victim.
Ukraine has shown it does not have the capacity for self rule, it allowed itself to be sucked into the whirlpool of military alliances that create tensions.

What resources can bring an occupied country that can not be cheeply obtained in a global economy? Are resources more important than high tech in the current world? What resources does Russia lack? Can one make a case why Russia will invade anyone outside its former security territories?
