ive played a couple games with pirate warrior and shaman does beat pirate warrior most of the time but if u get the the anchorr its winnable

If you want to be more specific, look at any video regarding Pirate Warrior from Gadgetzan to Un'Goro. It fell off hard in Frozen Throne after Firey War Axe was nerfed, and absolutely killed in K&C after Patches was no longer in Charge. The Gadgetzan pre-nerf one especially, so powerful Coin Doomsayer was too slow at stopping its early game.

Do the math Kripp. Would have done more damage if you'd played the pirate on turn 1. You aren't insentivised to wait by anything other than the effect looking cool. This expansions pirate style is still meant to be fast.

I feel like Blizz hasn't innovated the game at all in a long time and when I played the game today, half the time I ran into some battlecry shaman variant (probably thanks to the streamer pre-release).
The day-one experience for this expansion was probably the worst one yet. Blizz should really try to work harder on making interesting cards and strategies.

I FUCKING CALLED IT. All of these big dragons are going to be fucking nothing when half the decks have no control tools and pirates are just "good enough" to grind to legend. It is Mean Streets all fucking over again: cool in concept, but pirates ruin everything.

Well play a control deck and you will wipe the floor with pirate decks. They can't beat a competent control deck.
I think pirate warrior will get worse as you get higher rank and as the expansion goes on and more people have complete decks.
I have no idea why you aren't running south sea captain when you're getting loads of tokken pirates.

Arena has TGT and Lich King sets again. God damn it, these cards have been there for months. TGT is such a bad expansion, let something else have a chance. BTW. dragonmaw poacher in arena is insane shit. There are lots of dragons to pick from and not necessarily good ones, these are the ones that you just play and thats it, then you get 4 mana 8/8 rushed.

You can actually play this deck with Galakrond its about as good but as aggro. You still wouldnt play any dragons or things that dont go face.

Pirate Warrior should be seen as a failure whenever it's made during an expansion.
I'm not saying the meta would be better if it was Pirate Hunter... but think about it. At what point should warriors even think about the button? Never. Way to utilize the full potential of the game, blizzard
