If I ever got to choose my character I would definitely choose Aaravos. The voice, the hair, the face. It's all perfect. Just look at the spell he did at 1:11 Just a total badass
Elves and all other creatures get the ability to use magic and are given a special tribute depending on whether they are a forest elf, sun elf etc. Humans get nothing and struggle to survive and invent ways of survival. Sun elf: "You could not be grateful for what you were given!"
If I'm going to be honest, Aaravos kind of reminds me of Horde Prime from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. He is very cruel and manipulative, but at the same time, polite, in a creepy way, and he has multiple vessels, too.
Lux Aurea looks like a an impenetrable city that could stand up to almost any assault or attack. But this city has one weakness. The ruler Khessa she is that weakness. Aaravos knew that she was arrogant and that she would take Viren to the source of their power. Aaravos didn’t need to send in an entire army to get there he let her take Viren straight to the place that he wanted by using her own arrogance as a ruler against her. You would never think that the queen herself is the city’s greatest weakness. Sometimes weaknesses can be found right in front of you or in the most unexpected places.
Aaravos was one of the first Elves of Xadia making him approximately 5000 years old, when the series began He is master of all Six Primal sources of magic and Creator of Dark magic. He is called by some as the fallen star and can only use a small amount of star primal magic, he was imprison by his crime of saving the humans from City of Elarion, When Sol Regem Attack It!
I'm sensing some Sephiroth vibes from Aaravos 🤣😆: . White/Silver/Silky long hair . Seductive/Charming and Bro-handsome .Intelligent and Powerful . Insane and Deadly I wont add more lol, who sees this, make your contributions 😆
I'd add Gaunter O'Dimm from The Witcher 3: -Introduce themselves as helpful ("Gaunter O'Dimm, at your service."/"How may I serve you?") -Manipulative -Real identity and motives are unknown. -Extremely powerful, but mostly act behind the scenes. Some more I forgot: -Both are related to mirrors (one is imprisoned in it, the other is named Master Mirror)
What a great villain! Lord Viren has everithing a true villain needs: a charismatic and charming appearance; a talent for deceiving and manipulating others; a great knowledge about history and magic; the ability to find smart and "creative solutions"; the conviction to do the right thing by "saving" humanity; a great hunger for power; and an understandable past and backgroundstory. I`ve always loved wizards and magicians, especially the dark ones! Wizards are as well as the villains and the antagonists the most interesting characters in my opinion. I´ve always played wizards and witchers in Online Rollplay Games and I have always had a great interest in villains, so it`s no surprise I have fallen in love with this character since the first time I saw him. Viren is smart and ambitious with a great knowledge and the ability to deceive and manipulate every one, who listens to him. There are just a view exceptions like Opeli or Korvus, who recognized his true evil nature. I have to ad, that he is a quite talented and powerfull dark mage with some disturbing, but impressing skills. But in my opinion he is more then just the evil villain. He`s a loving and caring father. Even if he doesn`t show it in front of his children. Or at least he was. There are two sides in him. One side is a father and former husband who just wants the best for his children as well as for humanity. The other side corrupted by dark magic and an endless hunger for power, that makes him cruel and ruthless. During the entire series we get to see his character developement and why and how he`s changing from one of King Harrows closest and most loyal advisers and friends to such a ruthless, coldhearted villain. There are a view events in the show, that probably caused his turn to such a dark path and why he hated and still hates Xadia that much. He hated Xadia for what Thunder (Avizandum) did to Queen Sarai and later for what the moon-shadow-elves did to King Harrow, his closest friend, who has been like a brother for him. That`s the probible cause for his hatred against Xadia. But this wasn´t enought. When King Harrow showed Viren "his place", which was on his knees, it must have been the most horrific kind of humiation he could have imagined.Being treated like that by his closest friend. He must have lost all his faith in such a deep and old friendship. Whenever he tried to help humanity he has been ignored by others, what caused frustration and doubts. This doubts led him to the elf and archmage Aaravos, who turned him to a dark path.Maybe he truly believed to do the right thing till the end and didn`t even notice the hunger for power he`s developed. Or maybe once he noticed this hunger he didn`t want to stop cause of the unlimited power he would have gotten. He is such an interesting character and all those great losses like the loss of his wife Lissa or of his closest friend and his wife made him go crazy. But a villain without a dark and sad story isn`t a good villain, don`t you agree? I even love the way the protagonists defeat him. Rayla was willing to sacrafice her own life to protect the dragonprince by jumping with Viren in the abyss causing him to die. I`m just glad Claudia succesfully brought him back to life. I`m so excited what`s gonna happen in season 4!
reminder: -sun elves are the majority in xadia -humanity was given FUCK ALL *NOTHING* so really, her saying that humanit was not "satisfied with what they were given" in that smug and arrogant tone, was making this even more tasty a scene

It's no mystery as to why Karim lost his petty civil war it's because he repeated the sins of big sis and allowed his ego and sense of pride to blind him to the truth of the larger threat that is Aaravos seeing as how Karim wanted his older sister's throne and crown soo badly that he was willing to repeat his big sister's mistake of underestimating Aaravos's guile and intellect

And this us how I realize that the Sunfire priest in season 6 is the same one from this scene and was probably Aaravos the whole time
Who knew koh was a powerful elf?
Only strong elves become spirits😜
Viren and Aaravos are easily the best characters in the show
They’re both my favorite characters 😂
LiveFree&LoveForever viren is honestly the best villain I’ve ever seen
Is it me or does any body SHIP opeli and viren :3 I do
Aaravos, yes. Viren, no.
And s o r e n
All this chaos while he is still trapped somewhere else 😮😮
I wonder what's gonna happen when he breaks loose and starts taking revenge for his imprisonment!
why do I love seeing these "elves" get schooled so much?
Me looking at Aaravos: *gulp* 😨 *ok calm down calm down ¡! I said CALM DOWN, dawn it!*
And to think that this is only a fraction of his power! Just imagine what next season's going to bring now that he's back in his physical body!
This is damm dark for a kids show, I love it! :D
last time i checked it was 13+
@@Prefusify the last time I checked, it was tv-7
@@Prefusify although I do see this show as 13+
I don't think this show is suitable for children: dark magic, war, political corruption, violence, and homosexuality.
@Dagur Oswaldson i get the dark magic part but how is homosexuality not suitable for children?
This elf Aaravos. I can see why even Runaan (the elf who killed Ezeren and Callums dad) was afraid because this guy is very dangerous imagine if he was set free and I wonder what he was like before he went rouge.
What’s scarier is that we’ve only seen a FRACTION of Aaravos power 😨😳
@@PerfectlyImperfect93 Yeah I mean that freaky bug just crawled out of Virens throat what if it laid eggs in his organs
“Humans disgust me”
If that isn’t me every day-
Yes, I can relate to that
That shouldn’t be your mindset. There are plenty of awesome people
If I ever got to choose my character I would definitely choose Aaravos. The voice, the hair, the face. It's all perfect. Just look at the spell he did at 1:11
Just a total badass
This was a total badass moment
Aaravos is a sneak devil 😈. And I really love this sneaky devil.
Elves and all other creatures get the ability to use magic and are given a special tribute depending on whether they are a forest elf, sun elf etc. Humans get nothing and struggle to survive and invent ways of survival.
Sun elf: "You could not be grateful for what you were given!"
like she expects humans to just accept living like trash
I agree with that one comment someone said, it does sound like he whispered “They’re human.”
When the big bad gets a major win, but you don't care because they killed an asshole character while doing it.
Just picturing him doing this with like an AR headset in his room litterally KILLS ME😂
Aaravos makes me think of Sauron in elf form
AW SICK!!! That was an Alien vibe crawling out his throat like that I mean oh it makes me want to throw up
Just Look at how powerful Aaravos is when being imprisoned.
If I'm going to be honest, Aaravos kind of reminds me of Horde Prime from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. He is very cruel and manipulative, but at the same time, polite, in a creepy way, and he has multiple vessels, too.
With the one major difference between them being whereas Horde Prime is motivated by a his twisted idea of peace, Aarovos is motivated by revenge
Horde Prime was the third best thing about Series 5, after Entrapta and Shadow Weaver.
He is better than Sultun Mehet II, who conquered Constantinople, which used to be an impenetrable city.
1:52 I watch and read invincible, and even I wasn’t prepared for how horrific that death was 😨
Aaravos was one of the first Elves of Xadia making him approximately 5000 years old, when the series began He is master of all Six Primal sources of magic and Creator of Dark magic. He is called by some as the fallen star and can only use a small amount of star primal magic, he was imprison by his crime of saving the humans from City of Elarion, When Sol Regem Attack It!
He was imprisoned 300 years ago by the Lightning Dragon and a mysterious human daughter called the "Orphan Queen"
Where are you getting this lore from?
Considering that we now know what Arravos told the Queen, this scene is even more chilling.
And we know he meant it literally. The man is a giant.
I think this may be my favourite scene in the entire series😅
I'm sensing some Sephiroth vibes from Aaravos 🤣😆:
. White/Silver/Silky long hair
. Seductive/Charming and Bro-handsome
.Intelligent and Powerful
. Insane and Deadly
I wont add more lol, who sees this, make your contributions 😆
I'd add Gaunter O'Dimm from The Witcher 3:
-Introduce themselves as helpful ("Gaunter O'Dimm, at your service."/"How may I serve you?")
-Manipulative
-Real identity and motives are unknown.
-Extremely powerful, but mostly act behind the scenes.
Some more I forgot:
-Both are related to mirrors (one is imprisoned in it, the other is named Master Mirror)
1:38 why the hell i love this so hard
Janai, I don’t feel so good…
TV-Y7 is the new 80's PG it seems.
I showed this to a friend that doesn't watch or wants to watch the show and I think she dislikes me now. 🤣🤣
Is it wrong that I'm totally attracted to Aaravos? Also, I'm probably alone in this but he gives Annatar (Sauron) vibes.
like half of the fandom is simping for him, i dont think its wrong
Viren: "The power of the Sun... in the palm of my hand..."
Yeeeeesszzzzz
what Aarovos whispered to the sun queen sounded like " there were human "
it sounds like he whisper "you're human"
1:48 watch season 5 to understand what he whispered
Sorry but not giving spoilers
Was this the same elf, he will possess when Sol Regem will be burning Catholis?
Yep
I swear that scream gets me every time 2:01
reminder:
-sun elves are the majority in xadia
-humanity was given FUCK ALL *NOTHING*
so really, her saying that humanit was not "satisfied with what they were given" in that smug and arrogant tone, was making this even more tasty a scene
Yeah
It makes ya wonder who's REALLY the bad guy here. Even Aaravos states that the Queen here is arrogant
@@DragonGoddess18 Apart from Janai, the entire royal family is racist. Just look at Karim.
ALT ending
Viren: let my troops pass we got no fight with you
Queen: know what go ahead i was thinking of purified you but I felt it a bad idea
Viren: oh well that was eas... wait i actually wanted get capture 🙄
Aaravos: well that was unexpected 😕
Aaravos said, "I swallowed her."
Oooh 😲 😏
Don’t know if this is just me but I heard Aaravos say,
“They’re human.”
(Yes, I know I’m almost a year late. I just felt like sharing this to people who probably won’t read my comment.)
??
But that isn’t really someone’s “Fate”, that theory just doesn’t make sense to me. Hopefully we’ll find out in the “Orphan Queen” saga that’s coming up
Yeah he said that
Well aside from their notable features they are very similar to humans so it’s not too much of a stretch
1:47 it sounds like he’s saying “theyre human”
interesting catch...hopefully we get to find out in future what he really said - can't wait!
Amaya stopped Janai because she knows how it feels to lose a sister
She knew that he would kill Janai
Alt title: racist sun elf gets humbled
This could perfectly be a Shadow of Mordor scene!
Aaravos is a great villain
0:25 is the most disturbing moment in TDP so far
I honestly loved what they did to those arrogant elves 🤣🤣🤣🤣 nothing like knocking them down a peg 🤣🤣
Aaravos is like... Sauron 😱😱
Aaravos is quite a terrifying villain, ngl.
In season 4 Lux Aurea kinda looks like Mordor/Mount Doom from the Sunfire elve's campsite.
I have seen what Aaravos can do via fanfictionI have read. He was terrifying with how he almost killed Zym's mother and an army of Elves by himself.
I shipped them sooooo much at 2:20
After that she healed Amayas hands and has always a healing salve in her pocket. I ship them too
I come here after 3 episod of 5 sezon to check something. Look closely at end credit images and I think that you will knew what I am talking about.
Pharos’s infection.
2:16 Not now Janai! You're no good to the Sunfire Realm dead.
She’s no good to any of us dead lmao
You know, *for kids.*
All I want to know is, did he say anything more specific than "the same thing I am going to do to you"
