This sounds like burnout, and probably requires times/break/reevaluating what do you want from the game. And lastly, imo, i don't think comparing different styles of games is gonna drive your point out. I started my ZZZ account day 1, but despite logging in oftenly here and there, i didn't play the story at all/enganged in content until Jane was released. Reason being, the game didn't vibe with me (despite loving the animations), mainly because of TV system in the story. Do i expect PGR/WuWa gameplay? No, because i don't expect it to be the same, nor do i need to compare. They are both action focused, but wants to achieve different experiences all together. Since then, i'm enjoying my time in the storytelling, flashy fights here and there, and i don't need to focus on it hard like other games (despite the rng equipment system still sucks ass). I could use the example of GI. Day 1 player, burned out hard at 3.6 (because of how they treated dehya in terms of kit/gameplay), and took a huge ass break. Came back for Natlan, not to compare it to other games, but with the mindset that i want to enjoy its story (if it's any good). And so far, i'm pleasently surprised. I don't want to run after fomo units, nor have the super build or clear everything. I enjoy the story, and then i log out.
Improvements are always nice. No doupt about that. BUT: Never forget that ZZZ released with many basic stuff missing eventough HSR and Genshin had that since day 1. So the entire less TV thing (they ignored the beta feedback), no voicelines for your characters or not being able to walk around with your units (which should be a given in any gacha) is nice when its getting changed...but they could just put it into the game from the beginning. ZZZ has gameplay that not many casuals enioy...because they actually have to play the game. But for the players its tied to...its a bit to easy.
As someone who's playing 15 gachas while having a 9-5 job, ZZZ dailies is a lifesaver. Much faster than Wuwa and Umamusume. Resource scarcity is an issue but it's gonna get resolved overtime especially when I'm skipping all the characters next patch 😊
I quit ZZZ a while back due to hating how the pacing of gameplay was so stop-start and absolutely loathing the TVs. It felt like the devs were afraid that if they made content that required the player to go 5 seconds without altering what they were doing via a transition screen, dialogue, new throw-away mechanic or whatever then they'd be distracted by someone jangling their keys outside or something. I also have an issue with not finding the whole 'fight in an arena with a timer' fun/interesting so the end-game prospect of grinding shiyu defence (timed arenas) and hollow zero (TVs) felt like a dead-end to me. Fast forward to recently and the dev talk landed where they talked about removing the TVs from story mode, adding a non-timed Shiyu defence just about surviving, a version of Hollow Zero without the TVs and mentioning Rally mode being well received and I was sitting there going "well damn... that would fix all my complaints :o" So after a few weeks of humming and hawing, I booted it up and held my nose while I forced my way through the existing TV overloaded story to get to the new stuff in the form of Jane's chapter and the new Sons of Calydon stuff and it was great! (the new stuff that is, I still goddamn hate the TV stuff, even the chapters people said they liked it in) It's funny that they do all these systems and game types because all they'd have to do to make me happy is just have the main gameplay be Rally mode with just a touch more exploration (and by that I just mean more sneakily hidden chests/resonium and some more non-combat things here and there to make sure it's not too predictable... running through empty rooms/corridors between combats isn't exploration :P ) I don't want this broken up ADHD experience with isolated arenas, constant transition screens, yapping or being interrupted every 5 seconds, I want something fluid that I can just sit down and fully lose myself in and Rally is pretty darn close to that. Even without the tweaks I mentioned I'd still find the current batch of Rallies expanded out to more maps a fair bit of fun and more than enough to entertain me. Also, Rally is the main mode I think would work well with coop too, if they ever add multiplayer beyond Snake versus :3
Gachas I played in the past have more content and if they have a PvP mode there is more to do daily. I play WuWa and ZZZ and play console games after I spend stamina in both games. I considered starting a third gacha but I changed my mind and just stuck to console games. I‘ll test Tribe Nine this week and play it when it releases. Maybe that game will be my third gacha. My luck in ZZZ is now on par with my luck in WuWa since I just pulled Burnice in about 20 tries.
I stopped playing simply because the art style does not hook me that much and I play too many gacha. I will still be playing ZZZ if I am only playing 2 or 3 other gacha. But I play around 10 soooo....
I really like zzz i got jane caesar and burnince and i started to play it in 1.1 part2, but i dont play it much sometimes i dont even log in or i log in and only do stamina and dailys but thats because im playing zzz genshin honkai star rail and wuthering waves at the same time😂
Its tedious to build characters in this game especially when you're grinding that boss material, its takes too long and when the boss transition to phase 2 it became invincible until it finished transforming which waste your time
You're experiencing the first stage of burnout my man. If you keep forcing yourself, you'll enter a real burnout stage where you'll experience an even more exhausting and boring feeling from playing the game and inevitably feel uncomfortable and lacking enjoyment while playing it completely. Try to tone down your forced attempt to find enjoyment to the game and just do the necessary dailies if you still want to keep up. If not, then taking a break from the game can be beneficial for you. I ditched the game after I felt this first stage like you and planned to try the game again only when I felt like it. You probably might want to do the same.
Bro try Path to nowhere Its not that popular but the story is i like super great, its kinda like arknights, i think it will fresh your mind a bit . Btw nice video 👍
The thing that made me play Zzz is still the thing that makes me play Zzz and will be the thing that will make me play Zzz is Jane Doe and her gameplay she's just too good and just having her to do 1 fight daily for dailies makes me content with this game tbh PS I'm quitting the day she gets nerfed massively a small nerf/powercreep is still fine (by nerf i mean a lot of enemies resisting physical/anomaly attributes to the point that I'm not able to clear easy content
What brings me back to ZZZ are the arcade events and story, but logging in every day and using stamina isn't that fun for me. In Wuwa it feels better because the enemies hit pretty hard but die quickly, so I still have to pay attention while it's also not a time sink.
I feel like ZZZ is a Starfield situation for Hoyoverse, it's a new world that they've created that isn't really tied to honkai or genshin, its okay and it does well monetarily, but something just feels....missing compared to their previous works...it might be because the game plays it very safe and imho doesn't bring anything crazy new to the table with a instance based world....again 🙄 idk how else to put it....but the devs are doing a great job with it tho so im sure itll be fine

I uninstalled yesterday around when this video came out lol but ya i do agree the game's story and style is the main highlights of the game, combat was good visually but after awhile I just find it too grindy and since there isn't a auto clear feature it becomes too repetitive especially when getting materials to upgrade a character so ya i just got bored but all in all it is still a good game and i hope i can get better to where HSR and Wuwa is right now but is going to take awhile more... In any case GFL 2 is coming on December 3 (fingers crossed and there is already pre registration on play store and app store but could be region specific) can't wait for XCOM style game and also Azur Promilia on Jan 2025 so much to look forward too
Genshin, WuWa, PGR, and now ZZZ. I decided to explore this gacha space this year, and a week ago I started ZZZ. Initial thoughts: strongest story of the four games listed, at least with regards to the first chapter. The story and overall vibe are good. I'd be content just slowly building up my Cunning Hares starter team and using trial characters like Nekomata when they show up in the story. Playing on the easiest difficulty to avoid dealing with damage sponge enemies as much as possible, since the combat is my least favourite part of this game and after Genshin I have no desire to build characters in Hoyo games any more. (Someone please tell me ZZZ is less grindy than Genshin with regards to level-up materials.) I feel like I'm the only person that likes the TVs. I think they are a great way to add interactivity to what would otherwise just be extended visual novel segments. I'm curious if people who hate the TVs are also people who skip story.
I like the TVs too, my guy. Especially in the Events and Hollow Zero, since there, it requires me to think strategically and manage my resources in a risk/reward kind of way. TVs genuinely feels missing in Chapter 4, especially with the monotony of back-to-back combat commissions creating a bit of burn out in me. Though imo, the exploration commissions that were there in chapter 4 are kinda meh likely due to low effort on the dev's part (probably in part due to the backlash TVs had, which is a shame).
No we don´t skip the story, the way it was implemented was annoying because too much cutting in between a dialogue cutscene, a small 30 seconds killing trash mobs, back to tv's, then a cutscene, rinse and repeat in whatever order you want. Instead of just saying "People that hate the tvs", look for the praise that the TVs in hollow zero recieved, and the reason for that was because the segments of TVs and combat were longer and didn´t step in each other toes every 30 seconds. TV´s events were also good for the same reason, no interruption in between (The golden week from the last patch is a good example). And before you try to come with the idea people don´t want to use their brains for puzzles... TV´s puzzles are sadly toned down because is a gacha, if the game was a complete game with actual puzzles that would be another story, but because is gacha the puzzles are just a waste of time instead of a challenge. In summary, the execution in story was just poorly done, Hollow Zero TV´s are more fun.
@@megalodon2831 I can buy that. Gachas in general seem to be on braindead difficulty for the main story, even for things like combat. (For all the praise that people give to WuWa or Genshin combat, the actual difficulty of the fights in the main story is a joke.) Suddenly having to do real puzzles in ZZZ which was advertised as a combat action game would definitely hurt its accessibility. I'm glad to hear that the TVs are used well outside of the main story content.
@@MauveButterfly yeah, which is why both genshin and wuwa have such anticlimatic fights, both story's fighting segments and the majority of the content is breezed. And I do belive that zzz puzzles would have been well received in the story if it was a complete game, but sadly since everything was adjusted to gacha difficult they kind of wasted the potential in the story. But since gacha games sell more... Oh well.
Iam just gonna say it the more the game do bad the more they listen that's why genshine didn't listen in the past and why zzz wuwa hsr listening and now genshine trying to listen because they know they started to do bad the game is doing horrible right now
I guess it's cause the combat is different and not many players are used to it. Also they are obviously cattering towards a certain audience being the players who likes comedy, cartoony stuff and coomer baits
one of the reasons i couldnt get into zzz is that it came out like a month after wuwa, going from one grind fest to another grind fest in short amount of time is rough, especially how much resources it take to level a single character in zzz. the one thing that makes me stick around for zzz is the art style, the animations and the way they tell the story is the best in any gacha ive played. maybe as time goes i might enjoy the game alot more than now.
It seems just to me, you're playing way too much gacha games. And starting to expect some things what other gacha games do into ZZZ, but didn't happen. And ended up disappointed.
I play hsr and zzz. So far I like zzz more just because of the combat. I quit the game at the start, but forced my through because of jane. Now its alot of fun. I still hate tv’s, but the characters are amazing. I think the biggest detriment is the color scheme and environments, they don’t pop. It’s very blocky compared to hsr. Hsr has a lot of exploration and puzzles, and there isn’t any in zzz only in the hdd vr.
I rlly like the aesthetic and smoothness of zzz, the combats look fine ig, the biggest issue for me is none of the chars hook me cuz all of em look mid imo. I will start playing zzz and pull for em if theres ever a char I want.
Tbh, personally, I dc about the characters that much, honestly. I lost the 50/50 on jane Doe's Banner and got Nekomata and I was really happy with what I got. I play for the story and the gameplay bc it's fun for me , that's it , but i won't care if I didn't get a specific character bc there's no character I didn't want 😂 even the standard ones.

The combat in ZZZ just doesn't do it for me. It's a perfectly functional system, it works well, it looks good. But it doesn't scratch something in me. I could list my complaints with combat or other systems, but it's not important. Bottom line: to me it's not fun. Playing ZZZ is more like a chore. I am not invested in the story. I barely care about characters, desite some of them having interesting unique designs and personality quirks. It's sort of aimless. It lacks a gripping narrative for me to start paying attention.
So.. A game for no one, i only see praise for music and animation and its deserved, but no mention of its combat lol
As someone who's playing 15 gachas while having a 9-5 job, ZZZ dailies is a lifesaver. Much faster than Wuwa and Umamusume. Resource scarcity is an issue but it's gonna get resolved overtime especially when I'm skipping all the characters next patch 😊
We need more male character in zzz + does Ellen Joe can back in zzz
There's huge FOMO in ZZZ, like Caesar a great support, now Burnice a great off field anomaly, next Yanagi looks like a must pull 😬
Fast forward to recently and the dev talk landed where they talked about removing the TVs from story mode, adding a non-timed Shiyu defence just about surviving, a version of Hollow Zero without the TVs and mentioning Rally mode being well received and I was sitting there going "well damn... that would fix all my complaints :o"
So after a few weeks of humming and hawing, I booted it up and held my nose while I forced my way through the existing TV overloaded story to get to the new stuff in the form of Jane's chapter and the new Sons of Calydon stuff and it was great! (the new stuff that is, I still goddamn hate the TV stuff, even the chapters people said they liked it in)
It's funny that they do all these systems and game types because all they'd have to do to make me happy is just have the main gameplay be Rally mode with just a touch more exploration (and by that I just mean more sneakily hidden chests/resonium and some more non-combat things here and there to make sure it's not too predictable... running through empty rooms/corridors between combats isn't exploration :P )
I don't want this broken up ADHD experience with isolated arenas, constant transition screens, yapping or being interrupted every 5 seconds, I want something fluid that I can just sit down and fully lose myself in and Rally is pretty darn close to that. Even without the tweaks I mentioned I'd still find the current batch of Rallies expanded out to more maps a fair bit of fun and more than enough to entertain me.
Also, Rally is the main mode I think would work well with coop too, if they ever add multiplayer beyond Snake versus :3
Meanwhile here i am quitting ZZZ cuz of constant losing 50/50. "Ok, nope i ain't gonna take another shit of constant losing 50/50 on another game"
I don'y ARPG as side games, I didn't stayed playing PGR and HI3. I mostly play those games once a year, I'll probably play zzz on its anniversary.
It's just another gatcha game. However, the game will get better over time. I might be interested in trying it in the future.
Bro try Path to nowhere
Its not that popular but the story is i like super great, its kinda like arknights, i think it will fresh your mind a bit . Btw nice video 👍
The thing that made me play Zzz is still the thing that makes me play Zzz and will be the thing that will make me play Zzz is
Jane Doe and her gameplay she's just too good and just having her to do 1 fight daily for dailies makes me content with this game tbh
PS I'm quitting the day she gets nerfed massively a small nerf/powercreep is still fine (by nerf i mean a lot of enemies resisting physical/anomaly attributes to the point that I'm not able to clear easy content
"The game is very mashy" So... like every single hack and slash/action game?
It’s clear that the devs are staying as far away as possible from the tv segments with the new content, and I’m really grateful for that.
What brings me back to ZZZ are the arcade events and story, but logging in every day and using stamina isn't that fun for me. In Wuwa it feels better because the enemies hit pretty hard but die quickly, so I still have to pay attention while it's also not a time sink.
me releating this with wuwa, zzz. i dont know what's wrong its over a week i didnt logined..
someone help!!
Oh well.
This is in no way, shape or form hate towards you, but this video was such a filler patch which I still enjoyed to watch while sipping my ☕
ك f2p امس قدرت اخلص اصعب محتويات اللعبة ، لعبتها نهاية باتش 1.0
Iam just gonna say it the more the game do bad the more they listen that's why genshine didn't listen in the past and why zzz wuwa hsr listening and now genshine trying to listen because they know they started to do bad the game is doing horrible right now
I guess it's cause the combat is different and not many players are used to it. Also they are obviously cattering towards a certain audience being the players who likes comedy, cartoony stuff and coomer baits
I already quit, If I wanted to play tv simulator I would have downloaded a tv simulator
Didnt they reduce the overall TV part of missions ?
@@fora_4062 it’s nonexistent in story mode now lol anyone complaining is ignorant of this and is just complaining just to complain.
@@TacticalDimplesdid they remove it from 1.0 story and events? I want nothing to do with tvs
@@ZeroTwo518 They will remove it in ver 1.4
Bro ZZZ is so hard...
Hard to install again
one of the reasons i couldnt get into zzz is that it came out like a month after wuwa, going from one grind fest to another grind fest in short amount of time is rough, especially how much resources it take to level a single character in zzz.
the one thing that makes me stick around for zzz is the art style, the animations and the way they tell the story is the best in any gacha ive played.
maybe as time goes i might enjoy the game alot more than now.
It seems just to me, you're playing way too much gacha games. And starting to expect some things what other gacha games do into ZZZ, but didn't happen. And ended up disappointed.
I actually got back to playing actual games and only keepin up with wuwa so that moght be a factor
I drop Zzz because I didn't like the TVs is it fixed or still the same
It will have bern completely removed by 1.4
i do get bored when i do all my daily stuff in ZZZ but yea there is no OPEN world so nothing to explore other than dailies, BUT...i like it that way
I haven't play the game, but ZZZ trailer looks good for those characters
Tbh, personally, I dc about the characters that much, honestly. I lost the 50/50 on jane Doe's Banner and got Nekomata and I was really happy with what I got.
I play for the story and the gameplay bc it's fun for me , that's it , but i won't care if I didn't get a specific character bc there's no character I didn't want 😂 even the standard ones.
nah I'm still having a lot of fun, ZZZ is still GOATed
Lol
I never started zzz, I didnt like the launch character line up at all, the last few characters have been more interesting. I recently quit star rail and have been considering giving this game a try.
Thats allright, ppl can be bored or hit the wall pretty fast.
Stick to your decision well, hopefully u can found other game(s) that clicks for you :)
Cringe game
The game is mid in my opinion fan service and fighting style carrying it
It's feal.... lifeless they added a lot of features to make something special but they ended up making something no body want it what do u think guys?
Fighting style lol, when you just spamming button and parry thats very generous, its fun or decent at first but this game wont attract long term players
@@christophealexander3262 fighting style is the hode that the fandom hiding behind it so yeah this fighting mechanics are more like a sheep copy of metal gear rising and yep I agree with ur words
Wuwa repect my time i can be casual or try hard watever i wan
char design, theme, gameplay etc are so lazy coded it's embarassing: zzz is the ultimate sum of what i'd never want in a game. To me it's truly shitty and will always be shitty.
I stopped playing for a month or two and came back for Bernice. And still I catch myself thinking: this isn't fun.
Everything is strictly subjective of course. If you have fun with ZZZ, then great. It's evident that Hoyo cares about the game and it has a solid future ahead of it in terms of content or QoL.
You kinda fell off frfr
zzz doesn't have a low views
