The game has so much potential, this beta shows a lot of promise, and after seeing WuWa's beta last year and then comparing it to launch and even now the difference is mind-boggling so if Hotta can do the same NTE could go big. Sure the game needs a lot of polishing in combat, the vehicles need to look better, they need to utilize the world more giving us other stuff to do and ride like bikes, motorcycles, skateboards etc. like literally turn into GTA less the "violence" to avoid legal problems in CN But one thing I can't deny is their story telling is top notch, even at beta it probably already has the best story telling in gacha to the point that even if I couldn't understand Mandarin, but by just watching CC's play the game I could somehow understand what is going on with the story just with how good their "show, don't tell" method is, transitions are smooth and top notch, facial expressions and angle changes very close to AAA level all while in beta, I could not believe that Hotta the same devs of ToF made NTE
you forgot to mention the elemental reaction effect. its a chef kiss, its not like fire+electric create explosion. its per character unique and common unique elemental reaction, if you combine MC and Mint, light and electric will makes hyperbloom, but only limited into 2 and Mint will gives you a unique effect to the hyperbloom, but if you put that red haired cat girl in the team, the hyperbloom can up to 6 that can exist at one time. light+electric create hyperbloom but the character can enhance this elemental reaction even further. IT IS AWESOME system. you didn't just get a boring elemental reaction and reaction fest against large HP pool enemy. you can become tank and every tank like character compliment their elemental reaction even further. its crazy. I will 10/10 will pull that Jiyu like character. I whale her. already love this game so much.
After watching so many content creators play the beta I'm starting to question what niche NTE will cover. Open world gacha is going to become even more saturated by the end of 2025. This is basically history repeating itself like mmorpg of the 2000s. Genshin (WoW) will always be there due to its seniority and huge brand. Wuwa was where refugees of Genshin went to as well as people who wanted DMC or more souls like combat. People forget ToF was a major success at launch because it filled that mmo aspect people wanted from genshin before falling off due to mismanagement. Modern civilization or not the novelty of open world exploration is gone. The closest thing I think of is the capturing the GTA community but that means having to be multiplayer because the biggest thing keeping GTA going is the massive role playing community it has.
Oh for sure. Hotta don't get enough praise for how they're able to execute not just the massive world of ToF but even the verticality of it especially for an MMO. So far it seems to be the case for NTE.
Not really, having 3-4 of the open world gacha genre is not enough to call it saturated specially when the current 3 open world gacha games offer different settings and things from one another it is actually more like the competition is getting better, heck turn-based gacha games are more saturated as there are tons of them throughout the years but no one says it saturated as many only probably play and focus on HSR as if it is the only turn-based gacha game lmao. NTE being urban style focused already differentiates it from Genshin,WuWa or its sister game ToF and could offer a gacha gaming experience we haven't seen in any of the 3 current ones
Its not niche. Soon GTA6 will bring alot of demand for this. NTE and Ananta will be more than fine. Niche I'd say Ananta will also cover people itching for spidey swinging.
@@ardee9337 Thing is the urban focus isn't that unique. ZZZ is already out and Ananta could beat them to the punch. Considering how long they'll have to take to fix the combat I don't think it'll be able to find that niche quickly enough.
this game has so much potential and 1 thing I love is there so many thing you could do in the over world, Im a wuwa player, since wuwa has not enough content for me to play I really look forward to play this game
From what I seen this game biggest gimmick actually you can drive but I don't think it will be that fun if you can't go really fast in the open world or you don't get penalties if you hit pedestrian, it will be just any other mount from any gacha game
The problem you have is the same one I felt when watching gameplay videos, I saw the character hitting the enemy, I heard the attack, but I didn't feel the enemy was being attacked, it was strange.
Game looks great! Gameplay looks fun and I love the gta-esque vibe. Only issue is the charcters aren't really hitting personally. Doesn't make me want to pull for any. Totally down to try on release for the gameplay!
The concern I have for this game is that they seem to see features as checklists and don’t seem to be concerned with why they are adding those features or implementing them in an innovative way. I understand that this is a beta but a lot of the features seem to be in the game only so they can say “X is in our game”. Tower of Fantasy honestly feels far more innovative than NTE. Everything in this game feels like it’s executed in the safest and most sanitized way possible. I hope they succeed in finding a way to integrate the driving and the life simulation aspects of the game into their core gameplay loop in a meaningful way. I also have things to say about the aesthetics but I consider that a subjective issue and won’t bring it up as a greviance. (I think the models look nice but the animation and particle effects can use a lot of work)
Can you name a few features that you think were added just for the sake of just having it? Because honestly the way I see it they actually need to add more features to make it a complete urban open world setting experience and I do get it is still their first official beta so a lot of changes would still happen
The cutscene is really good, I love how they tell the story like it's an anime. The character design is a meh for me, some characters feels like they don't blend really well, personally I think they're too striking with the color. Like the cat girl for example, her color theme looks like bubble gum flavour. The fighting is good enough, but they need to be more creative or flexible with the flow of the gameplay. Maybe if the characters can do like a synergize attack that would be cool
as a primarily wuthering and genshin player, I'm the most excited for this game. everything about it is top tier to the character design, open world, story, and even the gear system, which improves on wuthering and genshin's systems. I'm in love with NTE ever since it was announced and hope the devs improve NTE more.
The main thing I need to see is how this run on a phone this is an Unreal Engine 5 game wuwa showed us that Unreal is very funny besides that I personally don't get why people call this anime GTA when there is no running pedestrians over an arsenal of guns etc its just a modern city open world game but that's about it
as its still first cbt it looked really nice but i fear the exploration gonna get boring fast and the combat still lacks something to make me feel like playing daily as gachas wants us to play. For me if they keep it as is its gonna be a nice f2p story grind for a week every month or so.
NTE looks nice, happy to hear the story telling is improvement of the usual stuff. However, I disagree with features such as "better wall running/climbing" being locked behind a certain characters as "nice/cool". That is a terrible feature, that will get just more painful with time. Just think about it a little and I am sure you can figure how bad it could turn
I think the problem with the open world is that because of the daily structure all gachas adhere to. The only thing that players will be looking at is the next objective. Games that look much better than this, and have more dynamism already have this problem.
I get you I just gave up Tower of fantasies. No offense to gotcha games but they get too exhausting after a while. When you play one gotcha game they're all the same in the end.
One other thing that bothers me in this game is how inconsistent the quality of the character models are compared to the environment, its like they put all the resources on the maps, but had to save the polycount on the character models, they stand out like a colorful sticker slapped in a metal fridge
Can we talk about how cute the characters are? There’s such a cutie patootie I might play this game on my phone, but it really just depends on the storage.

Tbh I'm starting to feel so weary with the gacha tribalism here, even before the game has launched. I understand that pioneers in specific genres naturally tend to reign supreme but I'm getting so exhausted with the constant doomposting and comparisons and arguments. Genshin was a mishmash of other games too, people. Hoyo did not invent anime, or open world, or combat. They simply put it all together and got called geniuses. Personally I still think genshin is very special but I don't let that stop me from trying other games. ToF is janky. It's full of fanservice, true. But besides that it has a lot to offer if someone's willing to give up their snobbery and give it a try. Beautiful scenery, detailed settings, extremely freeing exploration mechanics, unique character kits/animations, ToF has all those things and it makes me even more hyped for NTE. NTE looks amazing. The combat needs improvements, sure. I'm particularly disappointed we have the typical genshin/wuwa/hsr team comps here instead of the weapon/simulacra system from ToF. But the character designs look really good so far, the world has that classic urban anime feel I love and the lighting etc looks top notch, the animations are honestly so smooth for a cbt, and from what I'm hearing the story holds a lot of promise. There is no reason to doompost it before it's even been released. I'm hyped for it so naturally I want NTE to be a huge success. But that said, the ToF fandom is the most peaceful gacha community I've ever been in largely because certain shills wouldn't touch the game with a ten foot pole. So maybe I shouldn't worry about the doomposters gatekeeping themselves lol. I'm honestly sick of their toxicity. I wish peace was possible but maybe it's just not...
Does it SHOW more than TELL in the story? Some gachas tell more than they show..making it very dry and monotonous. Edit: Please tell me why we have limited stamina in an open world game when we're NOT FIGHTING?? Wuwa got that part right. Is it so hard to copy a mechanic that's another game got right?(that's not patented of course)
apart from the world? they should probably make a better model for the characters, they look like non original 3d models. I really don't like the fact they followed the loli design from hoyo which i really hate lmao. movement seems so heavy, look at the dash it looks like u didnt sprint at all. attacks dont have much weight to them. Ult animations can prob be better because it looks like ZZZ ult type animations. the color combination of some characters look weird IMO of course (that blue haired cat girl for an example). And cut scenes are too quick and might need some adjustment to pacing. there are some other stuff bit i didnt make a list anyway lmao. hope they can fix these stuff before releasing it because the world looks phenomenal
Im rly hyoed for this game just as much as for Ananta (former Profect Mugen) .... but what im kinda scared of is that the Devs are the ToF devs .... u know the same devs who abbontend their game agter like 1 year 😂😅
Let's hope if the game will be well optimized when officially released. Because so far, games with unreal engine 5 been like stuttering hell unless you have really high end gpu like rtx 4000 series, which is only around 5% of steam players who have it.
@@stioorg and what resolution you're playing at? If 1080p medium setting and not using any upscaling yet getting 100fps, I'd say that quite optimized than the recent games like stalker 2 where your card need upscaling on quality to get constant fps above 40fps. But my card is way weaker than yours unfortunately, since I use laptop with amd vega 6. But here's hoping I will be able to play it at lowest setting 720p with upscaling on performance... granted, if the game decided to add fsr
Main question: what are the gacha rates, pity, etc. The game can look great, but if it's another hoyo copy/paste banner system with 50/50 and other cr@p, then I gonna skip it. I have already 4 gachas that I play and I feel I can't add one more without dropping one, so it's better to be worth it for me as a character collector.
There's no gacha system in this CBT, but if they do something like ToF, then it's gonna be good: 80 pity but if you get a character of the highest rate before, it doesn't reset (although because of that, when you hit the pity, it's still a 50/50); there's a store where you can buy characters for 120 coins, and you get that coins from rolling in the gacha; and if you lose two 50/50 in a row, the third one you're gonna win, but it's the same viceversa, if you win the 50/50 two times in a row, the third one you're gonna lose it. IMO is one if not the best gacha system there is right now
@@RavenShugo I don't know what to tell you, in my opinion, it's nothing like what MiHoYo does in their games, but you believe what you want to believe, I'm no one to force you to think otherwise
The game quirkiness is not for me. I prefer supernatural enemies since its urban and make it more scary. Anomalies seems very vague to me and hard empathize with. 🤔
Genshin is still my favourite, but I genuinely believe this will be my next. Colorful, cute and hot characters, next level story presentation, unique blend of city scape and supernatural, immersive exploration with plethora of unique exploration points, in depth extracurricular activities such as property management, housing, and vehicles. Cook beautiful soundtrack to go on top of it, and it will be the perfect game for me. And +1 sub.
Agreed but this shouldn't be compared NTE open world environment is more interesting than Genshin and Wuwa only because it's an urban open world game and no matter where you go it's densely populated yet it will get old pretty fast unlike in GI and Wuwa the environment has different vibes.
Urban environment will get boring really fast. Cities are literally concrete jungles. What will make NtE's environment interesting is the areas with anomalies. Otherwise, I'd rather pick WuWa and Genshin even for their 1.0 areas because of the variety of atmosphere. More so if we consider areas on the newer patches for WuWa. I hope NtE doubles down on the weird and uncanny environment and not just roads and buildings. They also need to take a note from GTA. Have all restaurants open, barbershops, bars, arcades, police stations, etc. Having high crowd density won't make rhe world feel alive. It's the interactions with the NPCs and the environment that will give that feeling. Now let's see what Ananta could offer cause I prefer their art direction than NtE.
Probably another UE game, they always end up feeling bad to play movement-wise and the graphics leaves much to be desired. From this footage I'd say it's definitely on the upper end of UE gacha's tho in graphics. Don't know if the engine doesn't allow enough customization in UI and stuff but somehow always look like each other in the end.
The sad part is... No matter how good the story is, it will never be completed just to have the excuse for making the people return to play or keep playing and spend money.
I’ll be honest, nothing about this game really appeals to me. GTA anime gacha? Not interest. Cat girl is the only appealing character to me. But it is good to hear that the story is better than most gachas.
They said they want the cities to have and AI system that responds to things like an actual city would, so a wanted system seems posible in a future patch
For me, yes it looks good especially the cinematic scene but in normal dialogue I see that the expression looks stiff like it does not reach the emotion enough. I think I saw one scene where the characters look shocked but the face expression doesn't feel like a shocked face. Compare the cinematic and normal dialogue face expression, cinematic looks better than normal dialogue. The model looks too bright especially when in the dark places, I do prefer the model a little bit dark color so the model looks alive and matches with the environment. With these good graphics, I don't know if they can run smoothly for mobile.
A new trailer for Project Mugen will drop sometime this month. If 1/8 of their previous trailer is somehow proven to be "not fake", then I can confidently say that it will kill any momentum for this game.
I was really hype for NTE after seeing all the CBT streams then project mugen (now called Ananta) drop their trailers and official title. Omg the game was on another level of polished and beauty.
I find it funny that people kept comparing NtE, a game in CBT which could release anytime next year, to Project Mugen (now Ananta), a game with nothing but a few trailers to its name. At least wait for actual gameplay footage, jeez.
Myself i hate modern world cyberpunk games I live in modern world and it's boring I love to play games that have 500 years old open world with fantasy of course For example like the upcoming honor of kings world game
@@reed3863good luck with that Netease trash. They will screw up that game like everything else before it. They will hyper monetize it and abandon it a year after.
for me, from what i saw from streamers playing this -- character design can be better. i'd say ZZZ >> WuWa >> NTE gameplay specially combat -- WuWa >> ZZZ >> Genshin >> NTE world -- WuWa = NTE >> ZZZ >> HSR >> Genshin (?) i think the hits, attack animations need more oomph and can be smoothed out as time goes by world, last time i played Genshin was when the desert area came out, it was soooo bad. So idunno how the game looks now i gotta agree, i think NTE, Ananta are the next gen gacha games that could be some sort of a Genshin killer (lol) atm. Not because of aesthetics or gacha systems or combat, but because it looks modern -- in a sense of NTE has cars, an entire active transportation system that you can just ride and be afk' and see the entire city alive and moving, then Ananta from what we've seen its mostly on combat, like that loli girl with her scooter-slash-hammer, then the dude with the yoyo as a weapon, unique!

It looks great but if the daily grind is too long then I won't play.
While i love how it looks i fell like unless there are major qof improvemnts it will be hard to compete with ananta
if theres one thing this game should have, creature collection. dont lie, driving would be stale in 6 months, maybe less
So you hate gacha games. Got it. 🤦♂️
So gta + wuwa + hi3. right?
Im rly hyoed for this game just as much as for Ananta (former Profect Mugen) .... but what im kinda scared of is that the Devs are the ToF devs .... u know the same devs who abbontend their game agter like 1 year 😂😅
Let's hope if the game will be well optimized when officially released. Because so far, games with unreal engine 5 been like stuttering hell unless you have really high end gpu like rtx 4000 series, which is only around 5% of steam players who have it.
i played it with a gtx 1660ti i played on medium settings to get like 100 fps , but i get drops when i go higher , so there is hope i guess
It will have dlss and rtx.....
I would like to play it but i be waiting on a console version
Main question: what are the gacha rates, pity, etc. The game can look great, but if it's another hoyo copy/paste banner system with 50/50 and other cr@p, then I gonna skip it. I have already 4 gachas that I play and I feel I can't add one more without dropping one, so it's better to be worth it for me as a character collector.
i will talk about it in a seperate video cuz i as i said i didn't try the gacha system yet
IMO is one if not the best gacha system there is right now
@@Zack-0906 yeah, I checked and it's almost same as hoyo's crappy system. Really let down...
@@RavenShugo I don't know what to tell you, in my opinion, it's nothing like what MiHoYo does in their games, but you believe what you want to believe, I'm no one to force you to think otherwise
@@Zack-0906 there is no need to believe, you can just see it. It's the same 50/50 with close to same rates and pity.
The game quirkiness is not for me. I prefer supernatural enemies since its urban and make it more scary.
Anomalies seems very vague to me and hard empathize with. 🤔
Mobile cooked, i mean literally cooked.
Why
we will be playing NTE...
Until GTA 6
Looks like another Genshin & ZZZ wannabe. Guess players will just try it out on launch, uninstall and play Genshin and ZZZ back.
And +1 sub.
Well, one thing for sure, its environment is more interesting than Wuwa.
Careful the WUWA glazers will come after you. 😂 By the way I totally agree with you.
For version 1.0 WuWa yes. With the rest of the game and the upcoming new region, it's debatable.
*For the first time.
anyway, idk how NTE keep adding new and fresh expansion if it's on urban setting.
Game looks good but I am not going to play.
This game gameplay and world is look better than zzz
Probably another UE game, they always end up feeling bad to play movement-wise and the graphics leaves much to be desired. From this footage I'd say it's definitely on the upper end of UE gacha's tho in graphics. Don't know if the engine doesn't allow enough customization in UI and stuff but somehow always look like each other in the end.
The sad part is... No matter how good the story is, it will never be completed just to have the excuse for making the people return to play or keep playing and spend money.
That fact is not exclusive to this game at all. Imagine jenshin put an end to the story. What else can they do to keep the game relevant?
It's not, it's a piece of shet game but imma play the hell out of it because nobody tells me what to do.
Where did u get the english subbed clips from? is there a place I can watch the story with subs
i used a third party app to translate while playing
it's called mort
Who is main character
the girl with grey hair
@stioorg no male main character?
@@Someone_neel they're still working on the male version
I’ll be honest, nothing about this game really appeals to me. GTA anime gacha? Not interest. Cat girl is the only appealing character to me. But it is good to hear that the story is better than most gachas.
Moving animation and fighting animation are bad..they need to upgrade it
❤❤❤❤
It need to have wanted system like gta
They said they want the cities to have and AI system that responds to things like an actual city would, so a wanted system seems posible in a future patch
Ill do you one better
"is Girls Frontline 2 REALLY worth the hype?"
The answer is yes
For me, yes it looks good especially the cinematic scene but in normal dialogue I see that the expression looks stiff like it does not reach the emotion enough. I think I saw one scene where the characters look shocked but the face expression doesn't feel like a shocked face. Compare the cinematic and normal dialogue face expression, cinematic looks better than normal dialogue. The model looks too bright especially when in the dark places, I do prefer the model a little bit dark color so the model looks alive and matches with the environment. With these good graphics, I don't know if they can run smoothly for mobile.
I wanna play this but it's girl to dude ratio is so fukn bad when compared to any other gacha game
São 9 personagens mulheres e 7 homens.
A new trailer for Project Mugen will drop sometime this month. If 1/8 of their previous trailer is somehow proven to be "not fake", then I can confidently say that it will kill any momentum for this game.
Your descriptions sounds like it is a generic game
I was really hype for NTE after seeing all the CBT streams then project mugen (now called Ananta) drop their trailers and official title. Omg the game was on another level of polished and beauty.
I find it funny that people kept comparing NtE, a game in CBT which could release anytime next year, to Project Mugen (now Ananta), a game with nothing but a few trailers to its name.
At least wait for actual gameplay footage, jeez.
Is it just me or does the gray hair girl with the braids look just like Kiana the protagonist of HI3?
They're known for copying Hoyo games, so🤷

Myself i hate modern world cyberpunk games
I live in modern world and it's boring
I love to play games that have 500 years old open world with fantasy of course
For example like the upcoming honor of kings world game
No 👎 easy skip. I'm looking forward to Chaos Zero Nightmare and Ananta
Ananta trailer a year ago already looked more fluid and dynamic animation wise during the short segment of gameplay, city looked better too.
@@reed3863good luck with that Netease trash. They will screw up that game like everything else before it. They will hyper monetize it and abandon it a year after.
short answer: no
Long Answer: no not really
Nah, Ananta over this slop
We gotta wait till dec 5th to decide lol, I hope they haven't removed/changed somethings that we last in the last project Mugen trailer
ToF devs + UE5
as long as it is not like stuttering waves, im good
Wuwa looks more realistic than this colourful vivid world.. And that's not new generations of gacha wuwa already is...
Project mugen is more interesting
I have come to the conclusion that this game is just not for me
Same 🤝
Same here honestly
Nah its boring the characters are pure garbage but i like the world
People see a couple of pretty colors and forget the company behind it.
for me, from what i saw from streamers playing this --
character design can be better. i'd say ZZZ >> WuWa >> NTE
gameplay specially combat -- WuWa >> ZZZ >> Genshin >> NTE
world -- WuWa = NTE >> ZZZ >> HSR >> Genshin (?)
i think the hits, attack animations need more oomph and can be smoothed out as time goes by
world, last time i played Genshin was when the desert area came out, it was soooo bad. So idunno how the game looks now
i gotta agree, i think NTE, Ananta are the next gen gacha games that could be some sort of a Genshin killer (lol) atm.
How can you look at miyabi and think zzz can design the best char, like really
@@thienthien7765 because you're basing it on a single mistake on a character and judging the game's entirety. and they fixed it already
look at how even the starting characters look -- Anby, Billy, Nicole and tell me if they deserve that top rank. Also i did mention that this is from my pov. Everything is subjective
World : Infinity Nikki(i play the cbt btw)> NTE(that's not final product)> WuWa > ToF
@@sweetredpinky didnt know what Nikki is, as for 'not final product' if its in that state WHILE being not the final product, imagine its v1.0 release on NTE.
also i didnt get into ToF
@@magboboterski Infinity Nikki is open world dress up gacha games developed by InFold (same devs with Love & Deepspace)
used UE5 same as NTE but the theme of the world same like zelda, GI, Azur Promillia.
the world of ToF is also good but it's underrated bcs that's futuristic sci-fi open world mmorpg,
ToF can used ray tracing mode and can run more than 500+ fps, same like WuWa using UE4 but more older ToF than WuWa.
People too much hated, don't know n forgot about ToF actually.
why compared ZZZ and HSR world with open world gacha games lol, it's differrent genre but genshin world loses with ZZZ and HSR world? xdd
