Each time Ustaad Akram Khan played it sounded different from others.The clarity of both daayan & baayan is something else. The Nikaas is just amazing.

Pt. Subhankar Banerjee seems to have come out of Ustad Zakir Hussain's aura.
Pt. Yogesh Samshi's hands are so sweet. Not that I'm comparing anyone. It feels so alliviating to see the greats appreciate each other so heartily and generously.
All the artists are like different flowers with their own fragrance. Late Pandit Subhankar Banerjee played so sensibly with mindblowing upaj and very sweet voice is coming from his tabla.Will miss his live performances 😣
Once you close your eyes, Ustad Akram Khan seems so very crisp. Distinct too! Am mesmerised!

Satyajit Ji's tirkit in the later part of the video is more crisp and clear than any other I felt. Specially, after listening to Faizal's attempt Satyajit ji's performance feels heavenly.
Ustad Allarakha was one of a kind. One in a billion honestly. He will be remembered through his magical rhythms.
I also love how Ustad Akram khan looks when Pandit Samsiji playing , great hall mark of keen observer and life long student.

Came across this video after a long time.....and with a heavy heart would like all tabla lovers to know that Pandit Subhankar Banerjee is no more. His soul has left for its heavenly abode on 25 August 2021 after fighting with Covid-19 . A huge loss to Indian Classical music. May his soul rest in peace 🙏🏻

Ut Fazak Qureshi also played very well but I found others are playing much better than him...seemed a bit loose and strokes were not proper in speed and nikaas
