After watching this video I ordered a couple of games from Saashi and Saashi (Let’s Make a Bus Route the Dice Game and Remember Our Trip). My package arrived yesterday and I just played Remember Our Trip and it is so lovely. Great game, great recommendation. Thank you.
Were you behind the map designs? Well done! From what I’ve seen they look really well thought out! I still haven’t had a chance to play them yet though 😭 Go Team Remember Our Trip!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching! Their latest game, Before the Guests Arrive, came out after this video. I’d say it’s towards the bottom of the list - not because it’s bad. BtGA is actually quite good; it’s just a little too light for my tastes. Drafting and set collection go hand in hand as mechanics go; I just wish there were just one more mechanic to make this really sing for me.
Smashing video... i've played about half their games and Wind the Film is my favourite. (for now...) Remember our trip is in my to be played queue... :)
Thanks! I was just thinking that ROT and WTF are my favorite games of his, but I think they’re the only 2 out of the 8 that need a learning game in before you can grok them-especially ROT. It’s just so different than anything else out there.
We have Let's Make a Bus Route: The Dice Game and it did not disappoint! The quality if fantastic and the hubz and I love playing it! Thinking about Remember Our Trip now...
We need a 3rd edition Coffee Roaster. It needs to look exactly like the 1st edition Coffee Roaster. I'm so jealous of you that you have the better version.
Yes!! I really like it! I made this video before BTGA came out. I’d love to rerank Sashi’s games. I was planning to after I play his new release this year!!
Very good video, really liked the editing, really liked the awards and how to get, really liked the opinions (I only have A Chord and still not played it yet). (one tiny error, the iello game has London & New York, not London & England).
OOPS! Good catch! Thanks! I guess I miss some stuff when talking that fast. I want to talk more but I gotta keep these video times down. Good thing I included that box art. Whew!
🎉🎉 amazing video, full of useful info!! Keep going!!! Do you live in japan or in Taiwan? Is there a video where you talk hiw an american ended living on Asia? Regards from Mexico!!!🎉🎉
Thanks! I plan on doing another Saashi video soon as he’s released a lot of games since this video. LOL. I totally should do a video on that subject, but I do talk about it on #53 of the BGG Podcast 👍
Kyoto and....Mars. Haha, what a pairing. Although, as far as the games go, I'm not sure that any of these really jump out at me unfortunately. Good video all the same. I always like to see what you showcase in your vids.
Now that’s a great video!!! There are a lot of great little publishers to explore. There are a ton of great Blue Submarines to explore too. Some of my favorite publishers are: Saashi and Saashi, itten, Okazu Brand, Yutrio House, Titan Head, Oink 😅 I was about to type more when I realized I know them by designer first, then publisher second.
How in coldest hell I have missed In front of the elevators?! It seems something I'd really like. This is the best kind of surprise you can get! 6:06 - 6:12 & 22:06 - 22:18 Haha! Yeah, let's feel old together

That’s awesome! I’m thrilled you took a chance and had a lovely time! Glad I could help bring some great gaming experiences to you and your friends!
Hey! Thanks for the shout out for my New York and London maps :) Remember Our Trip is my personal favorite as well!

Hey…. Is that a Sir Mix A Lot reference at 5:51‽ hahahaha
🥲 It feels so good to finally be seen 🍑

Don’t be jealous! You have a killer game! Saashi will 100% be at Spiel this year, and they will possibly be at PAX Unplugged this year as well! 👍
Have you played Before The Guests Arrive? I quite like that one, it would be interesting to see where it would place on your ranking.

Thanks! No worries. Not every game is for everyone, but I believe everyone has a perfect game that resonates for them. 👍
I would love to try In Front of the Elevator! Without trying to pigeonhole Japanese (Asian?) games too much, it feels so quintessential
Hi Jay, what are the best Japanese publishers? I would like to explore more publishers before my trip to Japan.

Saashi and Saashi opened their international store so I come here to check out this video and subcribe
Thanks! Hope I helped give you a better idea about their games!
