If Suragaya and Yellow Submarine are like other Japanese stores I’ve been to, it’s amazing how much stock they can cram into the available space. Often only one copy, as you said, so having the title written in Japanese to give to a non-English speaking salesclerk will permit him/her to help.
For sure! Can't tell you how many times I've just gone to a store with a picture and they were either able to help me find it in-store, at another location, or online.
On this note now that you've grown my collection thanks to the great content videos you upload, I notice that I have no way to organize these small box games while showing them off like my big box games! Would love to see a video or a post of how you organize all the small games with your big games 🙏

I didn't know how foreigners check japanese board games. interesting. Recently Yodobashi camera has a lot of space to sell popular board games as well.

Recently went to jelly jelly store in ikebukuro. Nice little store with really nice collection. Also love our small version of can't stop
