- Journalist and documentary maker Matt Shea joins James O’Brien to discuss latest documentary, which looks into allegations that Logan Paul scammed his followers in a cryptocurrency product.
The TH-camr and Prime co-founder denies any wrongdoing. Instead of addressing the allegations in person during Matt Shea's documentary "Logan Paul: Bad Influence?", the content creator sent a lookalike to do the interview instead. Shea says doing so speaks to an 'unprecedented silly era in history...where people's reaction to allegations is to troll.'
Shea has also presented documentaries and co-written books on topic such as Andrew Tate and organised shoplifting gangs.

Most influencers spend their time flexing their wealth. I assume it's just an escapist fantasy for younger generations who are pretty much resigned to a life of economic insecurity

He offers an escape from the reality that modern government has given us. It's also a aspirations it's one of only a few worlds where young men get to see something and say "I could do that, I could get out of here".
And it's heartbreaking.
Coffeezilla needs to be credited and mentioned in these interviews for doing what seemingly is the leg work ahead of anyone else. This interview gives the impression Matt did the leg work.

They're all influencers and I could go on, but because you have no insight into this world you see the likes of Logan Paul and his brother and assume all influencers are like this, but you're obviously coming from a place of ignorance and have formed your world view around that, creating this position that isn't based in reality, where you just sound like an out of touch relic.
So again, that's not true at all, and you're the one who's adding nothing of worth.

The kids of previous generations had laws to protect them. Laws that prohibit excessive advertising on children's TV shows do NOT apply to TH-cam.
So influencers can aggressively market their merch at children using every shady technique in the book. And since most lawmakers in the US are 70+ they don't have the faintest idea of what's going on.
That’s a fair point. I think the SEC on the US as well are asleep at the wheel with the Crypto scamming. How can these guys continue to pump and dump and get away with it. Logan paul is a scumbag, but this journalist (in my humble opinion) has been known to frame things disengenuously. The fact that he thought Logan would give him a 'tell all' interview was incredibly naiive considering hes never provided anyone with such access.
Lets also have it straight. Coffeezilla has done all the leg work here. The fact that he tried to jump into this race at the finish line to take the credit is poor form. (Unless he has given Cofeezilla the credit he deserves?)
