When I went there years ago there was barely anything at Yalapa. Maybe a few huts scattered around. It was an isolated beautiful beach. Also barely any boats. Amazing how much is over there now
For sure, it was fantastic then very freeing from the rest of the world. Now its almost too much like the rest of the world! I dont remember it being that difficult to see the waterfalls...another trip 2008, we were there in 25 mins...? Adventures then were really adventures..talkin '82 and of course our travelling hippy friends that laid the groundwork. Found the name of the book. The Peoples Guide to Mexico. A classic. First edition about 50 yrs ago. Get it for 4.99 kindle

I don’t think jumping places could keep up with William. But maybe William would loosen up jumping place. I think put the booze to jumping places and they would get goofy and fun.
Brooooooo, I go out there at least once a month, it's truly a beautiful place with equally beautiful locals. I stayed Garcia rentals two weeks ago, it's a fantastic place with spectacular views. That back road you were on can be a little confusing, but if you follow it straight down it will take you to the pier. There's an awesome little coffee shop just down that road to the left hand side, the owners are super nice and accommodating. My favorite restaurant on the beach is Fanny's, those are my people. I'm so glad y'all were able to make it over there and I hope y'all enjoyed your stay. Cheers!

Keep posting pictures of all the flowers, they are beautiful. Also, the food looks great, fresh and lots of it. These small towns on the west coast of Mexico have a lot of character. I definitely like it more than the east coast. Thanks again, William and you’re a lucky guy having Maria w/you.

Yelapa is the most magical place and Garcia's is the best place to stay. We've stayed a few other places and returned to Garcia's. The best sleep I think we may have ever had is at Garcia's and we've stayed in I think 4 different rentals there. The beds are so comfortable. Los Abuelos has the best food in town. Their tacos are amazing and at a really good price. Antonio at Domingo's on the beach is a wonderful person and his wife does massage on the beach. We met Antonio when he was a waiter at Los Abuelos then moved to the beach. I'm really missing Yelapa watching your video! Thank you for sharing your trip!

We have anchored our sailboat there twice in the bay. Great during the day, but the waters get really rough at night. Both times, we pulled up anchor at 2 am to head south. By the way, loved your video on Zihuatanejo. We sailed our boat there three times for the International GuitalFest. Watching the lights of the town from the La Ropa anchorage made us feel like we were in a jeweled bowel. I shared your Zihuatanejo video with couples that had their boats anchored out at the same time (one couple got married on the beach!). Everyone loved it! Thank you.

That was wonderful! I went to Yelapa with a couple buddies a couple years ago and i recognized so many spots on your video. We followed your route for the shorter boat trip as well. For those that have not been to Yelapa, it is awesome!
Wow took a day trip to Yelapa from Puerto Vallarta in 1998. At that time there was no electricity to the village. The small resort on the beach had a generator that provided electric service to their guests for a few hours in the evening.
I went here 27 years ago on my only trip to PV I read a news story on the plane about this place. It said hippies from the 60's came here to live & some had stayed forever. There were ladies that would sell pies on the beach & a few huts on the beach to eat that was mostly it. I remember getting off the boat into the water shocked there was no dock lol But loved seeing this place. Next winter we are coming back to PV to say a month or more.

Yelapa has grown a lot since I was last there in the mid 80s when was there I just go visit a lady named Peggy she already passed away a few hrs ago she had a beautiful home next to beach with a great vista she had telescope to spy on everyone that arrived to Yelapa, Everyone knew Peggy if u asked around u see she had almost 100 cats at her home and she had 3 horses 🐴 that came inside the house and ate all the cat food laugh out loud!!! Peggy was American and loved ice cream also she was quite a charter I miss Peggy very much it was great going to visit her on the weekends for many years what s special person on such a a magical place, my family lives in Nadaderos between Mismaloya and boca de Tomatlán. Maybe one day we can get together and chill out in Mexico 🇲🇽 I am considering in going soon Been trying too do that but the pandemic has make it difficult but now things are getting better and safer looks like I hope so I need to visit my family in Puerto Vallarta and Mexico City plus chihuahua also Anyways good reading my friend did I mention I was in Sweden 🇸🇪 in 2004 with Lynn University on a Study abroad program Comunicación broadcasting my friend it was fantastic I Love Sweden 🇸🇪 Be safe u guys.
