Aside from Nozomi and Mizore, I've always had a feeling these two resemble Liz and the Blue bird as well. But that would also mean there's a chance Kumiko and Reina would have to go separate ways by the time s3 comes especially with all their "future talk" in the movie. It hurts knowing that it's a possibility but that's life 🤧 Quite realistic too imo
I think I heard somewhere on Reddit that, after high school, Reina goes to America for music school, and Kumiko stays in Japan to do assistant teaching at Kitauji with Taki-sensei
I don’t really get why Mizore always gets stuck on the past, comparing when nozomi quit to the bluebird leaving。。。 I mean they’ve already reconnected so why is she worrying still
@@soulfur1031 I had a feeling that would happen given how Chikai no Final empasizes how she's pretty good with helping out younger students and how she enjoyed taking care of them (even though she's not completely aware of it herself yet). Taki-sensei even takes note of it during her audition. So I always thought that yeah, Kumiko will stay connected with music and her instrument, just not to Reina's extent (unlike Nozomi who'll probably not choose music at all). Still, it's so sad that Reina has to leave abroad, I mean, you can study music in Japan too. T_T
@@sheepmasterraceBecause Nozomi is basically her only friend, her only support system and the only person she could rely on. Obviously her leaving randomly out of the blue would plant a massive seed of anxiety and doubt in her mind.
I love this as a foil to Mizore and Nozomi. The staunchness of these two, that they are at peace with parting ways, is so different from the final scene. It lacks that unwillingness to let go, but still sounds so good. And that's what makes it clear to Mizore and Nozomi that they need to settle their issues. The detail the makers put into the story is so good ahhh!
In Chikai No Finale movie, in the performance scene the part where nozomi and mizore are playing (the same part reina and kumiko plays in this vid), the camera/view keeps on panning kumiko and reina back and forth while getting closer to their faces, when it got closer to kumiko's face it transitioned to Taki-sensei's hand conducting and its movement is like a bird flying...
hot take but I would've loved if the new season (or the entire show) was drawn like this movie. The movie just felt more... correct. Like the style fit the show more. idk if that even makes sense. The style of the movie just felt more comfy, like the show
Watching this movie before the series I have no idea about Kumic po and Reina, and after I watched the serias have totally forgotten they where in the movie.
窓開けた瞬間の音の聞こえ方がリアルすぎて衝撃
それな!めっちゃ思った!
ほんのワンシーンなのに、この映画が傑作って分かる。

The detail of the bird's reflection passing over Mizore as she listen's to them gives me chills. Such brilliant foreshadowing, this series is so good!

Ironically, in S3 we learn that Reina is actually quite anxious about them parting ways. xD
I remember something similar at my school! two saxophonists memorized and just started playing the mello and baritone solo in spare time
the only duet from them we’re getting😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO😭😭😭
:'(
My favorite scene in the movie. Thanks for transcribing it, was just about to try to transpose on my euphonium so you saved me a lot of time
after sound! euphonium ended, I realized kumiko in the 3rd season was in nozomi position. kumiko and reina became the liz and the blue bird

For some reason, it feels like the characters are chibi style and the instruments are there anime counterparts
Yeah, the style makes it more apparent that the instruments are CGI
@@jeremyquiros5483 the instrument is not cgi tho
yo bro u seem like a really smart and well adjusted person!!!!!!
I still wonder why KyoAni and Naoko Yamada opted for a different art style for this film compared to the main series.
Why doesn't Season 3 use this art style? Even though it's better and more realistic🤔
It's blazing with passion and determination, then the shiny glittering art style
This anime is a bit realistic compared to the previous ones
