This is one of the most beautiful movies I’ve ever watched in my entire life. Every time I see this video I’m scared to click it because I know that the emotions I felt while watching the movie will come back.
I bawled during the oboe solo. I wasn't sad ( the movie does get you super primed to feel emotions tho) I was just moved by how good the music was. In my 20 years of listening music I never really just broke into tears from how good a song was like that
I've never actually active in any club myself. I'm also already graduated now. Listening to this makes me want to experience my school years again. The stress of exams, complicated friendship, unrequited love, and the excitement of meeting your classmates in the morning. Ah, if only I could be a teenager forever.

Prof. Owada at Senzoku Gakuen Music College, who directed and conducted all wind ensemble pieces of Hibike Euphonium, described Liz and Blue Bird as "piece of art". Yes, it is something else other than film score or soundtrack.
Thank you! So in the competition, they cut it due to the limit of piece length. As a piano player, I feel sooo sad of not being able to actually play this piece in an orchestra/wind symphony, but also I feel very fortunate that I can try to transcript this piece into a piano solo piece XD. This is going to be my summer break project.

honestly this performance was so good it strains belief that they didn't get selected to go to nationals. esp. with mizore's utterly sublime oboe and reina's flawless trumpet, there is no chance any high school band in the world was better. they sounded every bit the professional orchestra that actually performed the piece for the sound track.
I love this performance too, but you might underestimate All Japan high school band competition somewhat. You can find some clips of them on TH-cam.They are ridiculously good.
@@kzyn8316 true, not just for wind bands but marching bands also. Most of the time it is on a level that most outside of Japan will find it difficult to comprehend how Junior and HS students have the time do do all that, and at such a high level.
Too bad they cut it out in the movie. It would have been a perfect moment for the animation to focus in on Kumiko and let the audience just admire her in the moment for her growth. EDIT: So there's no confusion, I'm talking about Chikai no Finale, not Liz and the Bluebird. I probably should have clarified that before somebody got confused.
Not having been in in-person rehearsals for almost a year, this really bring backs all the emotions from being on stage and playing an emotional piece. I love this and the anime, definitely my new comfort anime
I am the one who trapped in one sided love with only one person for seven years and after watching this movie I come to think who's the blue bird and who is the liz..... this movie is really amazing and I can't stop list to this one.This is way too beautiful ❤️

今原作を斜め読みしてみましたが、明確に通して練習している記述はないですね。

三日月の舞は世界中で定番のコンサートピースになってきているがリズと青い鳥もそうなって行くかな。それにしても響けユーフォニアムは世界中にファンがいるんやな。
追記 リズと青い鳥も最近世界のあちらこちらで演奏されているのを発見。アジアの各地だけでなくカナダのケベック州やテルアビブなどでも演奏されていてびっくりです。
トランペットだからリズと青い鳥のトランペットの音色に惚れるんだけど、それ以上に木管のサウンドが美しすぎる。裏メロ吹いてるパートとかもう大好きって感じです。第一章saxとか面白いことしてるところ大好きです。。。第4章は泣きましたはあ。。好き

個人的には主題が西洋ファンタジーらしさと少女の可憐さ、その質素な暮らしの雰囲気を思い起こさせるからとても好き。前はパソコンで音楽を重視に聞いたけど、もう少し時間を置いたら改めて今度は大きなテレビで見たいな～
第二楽章、すっかり映画で流れたコンクールver.に聴き慣れたから凄くテンポ遅く感じる😂

映画館でリズと青い鳥見たんだけど、切なさがあったりして色んな感情揺さぶられたのもそうだけどやっぱり自分が吹奏楽してたこと思い出してストーリーと重ねて泣いちゃったなあ。音楽に対しての姿勢とか人間関係ほんと大変だったなあって、でも吹奏楽と楽器が好きな気持ちは誰にも負けてなかったと思うなって。こんな風に思うのは不完全燃焼してないから余計なのかな 長文ごめんなさい

去年のコンクールに自分も先輩と2人でソロがあったからフルートとオーボエのソロを聞くとその時のこと思い出して泣いてしまう。今となってはもっと一緒に練習しておけばよかったって後悔してる
