- This is a 2003 Infiniti G35 gauge face from Blackcat Custom Automotive. The cluster will be mounted in one of the few cool-looking Vaydor cars. The face will be based on the look of the Aventador Digital cluster.
How u turn on light without car cables on gauge
Use the Diode setting on an Ohm Meter to light up the LEDs. However, some, not many, LEDs will not light up on car clusters unless plugged into a 12v power supply.
which wire do i need to connect to turn on the meter light?

Awesome video! How do you pull the needles without damaging them? Also once finished how do you recalibrate the needles?
You can remove the needles with two spoons. Just pry them off. I did not recalibrate the needles but sent to the client to do.

Chip you are pointing for mileage storage is not correction. You should look for 8 pin EEPROM which is 93C66. Carprog tool is one of the easiest to do that. You will have to remove eeprom from PCB before reading/writing.

Hey, how are you testing the lights when the cluster is out of the car? I am changing my G35 to blue and I want to have everything on my dummy working before I even touch my car
I use a Radio Shack 15-range Multimeter on Diode function. This will provide enough voltage to light up the LEDs you are installing. -Bob
So I just need to find the lines for the power and touch it to the multimeter?

Sure you just change the light bulbs to colored ones.
