We are delighted to share with you our first out-of-the-country fine dining experience at Lavo Singapore!
The Lavo Italian Restaurant and Rooftop bar is atop the most iconic luxury hotel in Singapore, the Marina Bay Sands. This contemporary Italian-American restaurant offers a breathtaking dining view 57 storeys above the ground.
We made a reservation for their Sunday Champagne Brunch but we opted for the buffet only without the free flowing champagne.
Let us give you a glimpse of what their buffet brunch has to offer.
To kick off this gastronomic adventure, we started with their Salmon Egg's Benedict, gourmet pizzas, pasta, salads, and choice meats from their charcuterie and cheese board.
For the mains, their raw bar would be heavenly for seafood lovers. We feasted on unlimited lobsters, scallops, mussels, crabs, and poached prawns which you can dip in their spicy cocktail sauce and top with a bit of lemon juice.
Some must-try for meat lovers are their roasted beef tomahawk, roasted free-range chicken and their iberico pork chop. They also have a wide array of selections for other dishes such as rigatoni tomato basil, Eggplant Parmigiana, LAVO Meatballs and many more.
We always have a room for dessert but in Lavo, you should prepare a bigger room for their desserts. Fulfill your sweet tooth fantasy with their decadent selections: cakes, tiramisu, chocolates, tarts, cookies, and muffins! They even have all you can eat gelato and sorbet in different flavors: chocolate, pistachio, vanilla, mango and strawberries. :)
What made this experience even nicer is the excellent customer service from their servers who are mostly Pinoys as well. They are very accommodating and we were given complimentary drinks: a glass of margarita and a glass of wine.
While you indulge in the sumptuous meals, your eyes can also feast on the stunning views of Singapore, making the dining experience even more memorable. Good thing the heavy downpour stopped and we were able to marvel in the panoramic view of Singapore.

The buffet brunch is a bit on the pricey side compared to the usual buffets we go to in the Philippines, but this experience, the great food and magnificent view, is really worth the price.
Overall, we paid SGD 230 including service charge and tax which is roughly Php10,000 for two pax.
If you have the chance to visit Singapore, try out the Lavo experience! You can never go wrong with enjoying a breathtaking dining view.
