Watching the upload from, British Columbia 🇨🇦. Been a huge fan since childhood (early 70's) at BC's mountain top race track, West Wood Race Track (Westwood Motor Cycle Racing Club) Cheers from British Columbia 🇨🇦
Watching from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania United States. I normally watch sidecars during the Isle of Mann TT. I'll be checking in and out because a lot of my friends are playing at the Surfer Joe Summer Festival in Livorno by the Ligurian Sea on the western coast of Tuscany, Italy which is also live streaming.
Excellent win by Ellis/Clement! Loved watching the Birchalls trading the lead! Looks like it's gonna be a great season! I love how many siblings/family's are involed!
Thank you👍 Vintage sidecar racer here, 72 male, New Hampshire 🇺🇲✌️🏁 Love Spa. I jogged around the track before the 1985 500cc GP, working with a US Honda racer at the time 👍🇺🇲 PS, it would've been nice to see the winners circle podium with the helmets off. Also start your broadcast taking a tour of the paddock showing the rigs without their fairing so we can see the beautiful construction. Explaining to new viewers of sidecar competition how these relate to solo machines. Thank you again for the coverage👍👍
Did the commentator even draw breath at any stage? Between having him prattle on aided by the recording engineers drowning out the Bikes with endless verbal inanity made this great race hard to watch with the sound turned up. Barry Nutley can carry on a bit but he knows the history and the whole scene, which makes his commentary work. They're Bikes, not cars and the fact that there is a divergence of specs. between the two leading bikes might be mentioned in amongst the "And I'll tell you what's!" There's a reason why there are rests in music.
He did a fantastic job! He was filling in the audience with standings, drivers’ names, brief history between some drivers. Yeah, he has an overused catch phrase but it wasn’t like he said it every couple of sentences. There’s a reason it’s called “dead air”! You want to avoid silence during a live broadcast and this was streamed live on TH-cam. They don’t have the audio quality like NBC or ESPN to let the engines do the work. Also, it’s a 7 lap race. The bikes aren’t going to spread out which means there will always be action for him to call. He’s also by himself so he has no one to play off of or to ask questions to creating natural breaks in the conversation. But his call of this race was pretty good and pretty standard for fast pace sports! I mean this was what it was like for 24 hours at Le Mans! All the announcers were fighting each other to talk. Barely had a break.
Great just great....what nail biting and on the edge of one's seat... Same as the passenger...on the edge😅😂. Could you give more info on the red light...by no# sidecar.. And a bit more driver names... Otherwise a great commentary... Simon a Brit in Spain 👍 Shall be watching this tomorrow 👍
It has been a few years since i have been to Spa. i thought Eau Rouge was at the bottom of the hill (over the creek) and Radillon was the top of the hill. The commentator was calling it the other way around.
you are right. Eau Rouge is the little creek that runs at the bottom and RAiDILLON at the top means a steep path in French. But also I feel that its mostly called raidillon/eau rouge. eau rouge/raidillon sounds strange
Imagine the passager telling the rider "I got an itchy bum" while entering a right corner riding the rumble strip then entering the next left corner and he tells the rider "That hit the spot" 😅😅😅😅😅
Huge respect for the passengers. Risking their body for "dynamic downforce and weight distribution".
piltage ma mzet
I believe they're called "active suspension"
had no idea this existed...but youtube dcided it must be on my feed...so here i am
I'm pretty amazed how fast those go. Also the fact that they go full course.
Thanks for covering this. The world needs much more! Especially here in Colorado, USA.

Great racing 🤓🙋♂️👍
First time 😮. Love it. Watching from Australia
First time seeing a race like this. Looks interesting
What do the passengers hold on to?
Their balls of steel
There are a lot of POV sidecar racing on TH-cam. Try Isle of Man.
Hi Luke, watching from West Wales, UK. Rooting for Kent boy Tim Reeves.
Good race!💯
amazing
There is a movie from 1975 called Side Car Racers, that is what introduced me to the sport
I remember when sidecars were part of a Grand Prix weekend, shame the popularity has dropped
Alaska is in the house I've seen this before but have not watched a hole race love it

Your insanity definitions have been updated!

really competitive, that passenger risking it all for downforce got me astonished 😲watching from Nairobi, kenya
Watcing from Norway,, Ellis / Clement is the favorite from me 🏁🏁🏁🏆🏆
Passengers are next-level 🔥🔥🔥
Im here in Austin Texas with the 105°heat and 50% humidity..its awesome🥵
Bit of fun to watch
NEVER! NEVER A SideCars race lets surprise. It is a unique discipline.
Someone leans from side to side for a living! Planet earth is amazing!
ELLIS + CLEMENT... WOOOOOOOOOOW....🙂🙂🙂
Excelente carrera👍
Son camicazes estan locos los copilotos
hello from Kamsas city
Indianapolis, Indiana. Midwestern US
The absolute balls on these guys and girls are astonishing
This is medicine to racing
Bro, what do the passengers even accomplish?
I'm a simple man. I see something i didn't know existed, I click.
Any chance of having the sound of the chairs turned up a tad next time?
My thoughts exactly.....sound of the bikes way too low!!!
the passenger guys are the most insane people i've ever seen, having to switch positions constantly and hanging parallel to the road on corners.
If only I knew about this when I was a kid!
Wonderful race
Great just great....what nail biting and on the edge of one's seat...
Same as the passenger...on the edge😅😂.
Could you give more info on the red light...by no# sidecar..
And a bit more driver names...
Otherwise a great commentary... Simon a Brit in Spain 👍
Shall be watching this tomorrow 👍
I am from Townsville Queensland Australia
I am a ex sidecar racer in Canada a kiwi living in Canada .
Love 3 wheels. Come on Birchalls and John Holden (fastest pensioner at the TT) ❤
madness madness and madness again
the thumbnail makes my brain hurt a bit trying to figure out whats going on
Now this is pod racing!
Philadelphia, PA

HELLO JOHN SMITH FROM ENGLAND GREAT
great battles
Preston from Delaware state, USA
Que isso que eu tô assistindo? AUHSAHUSSAUH
E por que parece tão interessante???
10:00 I, drunk, throwing up outside the vehicle
Great that fim have a car competition even though it's too sided
Watching the Christies from Delaware in the US
Dude playing road rash & decide to bring it to life
That's dangerous specially for the passenger
Imagine the passager telling the rider "I got an itchy bum" while entering a right corner riding the rumble strip then entering the next left corner and he tells the rider "That hit the spot" 😅😅😅😅😅
Other motorsports: protecting the driver should be the highest priority!
Sidecar WC: yo just hang on the side of that thing aight'?
me and my brother playing a 2 player racing on a sunday noon
Who came up with the extremely dangerous race type?
Now that is fast... Really risky as well...
Why this looks funny😂
Flexible DRS
Do they sign death contract before racing on such dangerous track ?
Reminds me of Mario Kart Double Dash 😄
wow wow wow for the passengers
cool sport
I can’t hear bike sound.. why so quiet
