Thank you Markus. I will be holding my first hybrid meeting in early May. I have attended only one hybrid meeting and was happy to see how it worked. Now that I have volunteered to put on our first hybrid meeting, your videos are helpful for me to figure out what I need to do. This particular group had not held meetings for almost two years. I offered my services to host Zoom meetings. It was a great start for the community to be able to have contact with one another. The leaders decided to hold an in-person meeting in May. I offered to make it hybrid. So, I am learning what to do. We practiced yesterday with our limited equipment of a camera that has a speaker and my laptop. We attached the camera to my laptop. I did not know that I needed to make changes to my Zoom settings for the camera. I have not gone through all of your videos yet. If you have not done this, please share what settings need to be modified on their audio and video pages of their Zoom account. It will help people like me who are trying to serve non-profit organizations reach more people. Again, thank you, thank you for your information.

Ive been searching for information on how to conduct zoom sessions in a hybrid meeting format. I'm glad to have found your channel. I was pleasantly suprised by your Toastmaster's background as I am also a Toastmaster member, looking to improve our hybrid meetings.

We currently use a mixing desk, with a hybrid meeting. We have no issues with voice volume. But sometimes we play videos and we have issues with the volume on zoom with the video being too loud. Is there a way to adjust the sound for the zoom folks separately? I’m guessing not but it’s worth a shot to ask.

One way to do it would be to use OBS Studio, its virtual camera, plus a virtual audio cable. Then add the video to OBS and play it through there. You can adjust the video volume independently.
