A friend of mine just got his Raptor stolen right from his driveway. It got me really focused on what I needed to do to safeguard my car.

My Jeep wrangler was stolen last month, from the ring video the theft spent less than a miniate. Now I switched to Bronco with the kill switch, hopefully won't break my heart again.

I didn't even think about the OBD! I've spent the last 8 months with the doors and roof off my Bronco and while its not my daily driver, I only drive it on the weekends and I'm usually going into the woods or for a drive through the hills, there have been a few times I've stopped off at Home Depot and parked it completely open to the world. Thank goodness nobody tried to take it. Gonna have to employ some of these tactics and others.

Me too. Tons of time I’ve left it completely vulnerable. And in most cases it’s just common sense. But my friend’s truck being stolen open my eyes a bit. At the very least, I’m using a faraday box when parked at home.

WOW, I was totally clueless! I immediately paused the video, went on Amazon to order a Faraday box.
