Ours is only 12”, regardless I can see the need to re-level the shed every few seasons or so. Simply, prop it up with a bottle jack, re-set the blocks and lower it back.
My old shed has burrowing animals living under it. When I replace it, what can I do to discourage this? The old shed is on bricks like this one. That may be the problem. I don't think I want to do a concrete slab, so the boxed in gravel pad might be the most efficient way to discourage animals from living under the shed.
In my opinion the best cost-benefit is having a boxed in gravel pad. It is super strong, there is no need to pour a slab. As far as keeping animals away, you may have to build a skirt with chicken wire.
It’s not ideal, but some folks may not have enough room to build them… I do expect having to re-level the shed after couple winters. Thanks for watching!!!!
Nice, quick and easy foundation for your shed. I like using the skids also. Nice job
Skids are nice, definitely not for everyone, but I like to use them as well. Thanks
@@EverydayShed I'm going to use them. 🙂
Are the cement blocks durable? Will shed moved around? Slipping of the cement blocks?
Another great project. One question, don't you have to worry about frost heaving where you live? In my area the frost line is 36" deep.

They don't like castor oil. I would buy mole max. It's castor oil in pellet form and put it under and around the shed.
Building the shed on such a slope seems like it would have a lot of erosion issues.
