You know your stuff, with so much experience to back it. Love the shot between the joists over the gutter when you were talking about them. Made it so much clearer.
Inspired me to jump on the Timbertech Azek train. Just got back from a plant tour in Idaho, they did a demonstration of heat bending and they mentioned the Dr a lot! TRUE INSPIRATION for us deck builders!
We are redoing our deck and your videos have been beyond helpful and now we are going to try your pond membrane technique to waterproof. I know you are in Washington but do you know how well it holds up to hot temperatures in the summer we can get 105 here in Southern California
could you possibly show what the membrane looks like going into the gutter, I'm confused on if the membrane just stops and the water falls into the gutter from there or if you have something attached to the end of the membrane guiding the water into the gutter.

Is the gutter 6" or 5"
What kind of wood is that? And is it coated with anything? I like the look.
I got a bird nest in my gutter on this detail. Any suggestions?
Do you guys still use dexerdry as well at times?

There’s a baffle that catches the water and diverts it into the gutter
Could ditch the raingear , would make a better impression.
