Yes! Chemical engineering is a really employable degree, but the definition of “survive” is different for different people salary wise- where the jobs are located they are decent salaries. Not exactly the top salaries, but high enough above average to be worthwhile

Not too aware about Australia but would put it on par with the UK based off my knowledge 👍
