Oh boy. Thanks. Haha. Now I am greatly considering fixing this since I have a couple days to do so. Feel like I owe that much to not only the native language itself but to our rotary-wing pilots. I could have sworn I tried verifying that “ch” pronunciation at some point during my writing. 😩 So many deep sighs and grumbling to follow. But thanks Haley. You probably saved me a lot of grief! I’m still shamefaced about my pronunciation of “Belarus” in the wolf episodes.
@@WartimeStories don't worry about it!! We here it all the time! I Chinook is a small band of Natives. I am Quileute. We had our language long before complex written form. So all you did was mispronounced the name We were labeled ass. 😄 so you can't catch grief over Chinook if it's own members don't care! Chief Seattle....his name wasn't Seattle. 😆 our names are hard, we know, that's why I changed my name lol
@@haleyguthrie3113 lol I’m going to pin your comment to the top. I have my defense! But after reviewing a number of other videos, I did clearly miss hearing the correct pronunciation. That soft “sh” sound at the beginning. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Very classy to announce breaks in the video preceding a youtube add. You're the first channel I know of to do that. So much less frustrating and intrusive. Thank you.
Here to point out the obvious. Your narration, the animation, background noise to immerse the viewer just add up to make a really great experience. Listen to you while studying, helps alot. 10/10 channel!
The way that UFO was described (cube-shaped, almost like a diamond) reminded me of another encounter in Texas, the 1980 Cash-Landrum Incident. Just like the one in Kentucky, the UFO in Texas was also said to be being pursued by several Chinook helicopters.
@@osakarose5612 Sadly, because of their close proximity to the UFO, the radiation emanating from it had a profound negative impact on their lives. One or two of them died of cancer several years after the incident, if I'm not mistaken.
The intermittent "jetting" from the bottom of the craft is sure darn familiar, too, along with the shape.....and the Chinooks on scene (well, this was Ft Campbell) is rather (and most likely) coincidental.
Me and my friend used a camera filter ap on our phone that digitally enhances the camera... We were in San Antonio Texas and aimed the camera up at the clouds.... There was a diamond shape UFO silently hovering around the clouds. It was cloaked. We couldn't see it with our bare eyes or the normal camera. We snapped a picture of it and it took off and vanished in almost an instant... I have never seen anything like it. I was absolutely shocked to my core. it's all real. They are there silently watching us.
I served in the Marine Corps from 2003-2010. I watched a ufo while standing in formation. It was on a small navy annex close to Chesapeake Virginia. Basic Security Guard course for Marines use to be held there. I was a PRP security forces Marine for my first two years in the Marine Corps. The annex was also home to a very large antenna array. Standing in formation I witnessed a blinking light. The light would blink steadily then it would stop, reappear in a different location, and begin blinking again. It did this for about 10 minutes before going out and never reappearing. I alerted several people near me who joined me in watching the light. My recounting of what I seen may not be very exciting when narrated but it was in person. I still think about it to this day. I have never before or after seen anything like it. The positional movement was of a significant distance and occured almost instantly.
I saw a series of blinking lights in borden (Ontario Canada) it started as one light blinking and one by one it turned into nine all blinking at the same time. I tapped my squad leader on the arm and pointed at it and they all went solid shrank into one and dissapeared. I figure it zoomed off away from us.
So far I've seen three. Didn't see my first one until after I was fifty. It is always dramatic, but at forty thousand feet a little more so. The first one was tubular, silver/white in color. No bolts, no seams, no windows or doors to be seen. Maybe a thousand feet long and three hundred feet in diameter. It was moving south to north. We were traveling along the Rocky mountains, heading from Minneapolis to LAX. I'd guess it was moving about 2,000+ mph. Freaky!
I’ve been listening for a couple years and love the stories. I’m a civilian police officer on Campbell now. I retired here as a MP. I literally just saw three orange orbs in the sky in the back 40 tonight. They were the color of old street lights. At first I thought maybe I was seeing flares but they sat in the same spot for far too long and were far too high in the sky. I attempted to get a picture but my stupid flash messed it up. They disappeared and reappeared twice. All together. Strangest thing I’ve seen here by far. Lots of birds in the sky tonight also.
I can't believe I'm just now finding this channel. I've been falling asleep every night for the past 3 years listening to scary stories from channels like "Swamp Dweller and Darkness Prevails" etc.... But as a veteran I think this channel will be more enjoyable
Definitely one of my favorites(going through all the videos for the 3rd time) like all 3, channels, in fact..but especially this one. You should also check out the channel beyond creepy, if you haven't already. It's only problem is they're a bit short form, so don't work as well with falling asleep to, as the outro usually takes up a good portion of the videos. Not that it's actually ever really bothered me too much, but I've seen other people complain about it.
I lived about 15 minutes away from fort knox. I was a teenager in the summer of 1977. It had just became dark when I witnessed three glowing red spheres flying slowly in a triangular formation. Hard to tell the altitude , perhaps a 1k feet, as they traveled almost directly overhead. They were eerily quiet as they maintained a perfect triangular pattern and headed in the direction of the base. Never seen anything like that again.
Damn I’m in the tristate area and when I was in my second year of high school There were two white lights flying in a clockwise direction above my high school. It was pitch black outside so I took a video of it and pictures. Tried taking control of what I thought was the advantage but the next day the two white dots were no where to be found on the proof. All it was was the pitch black sky.
Same, I saw 3 glowing orangey spheres flying, fairly fast, in a triangular formation. They where high up kind of, and massive. As you say, and it scared me, was that they was dead silent. They just flew straight on and behind a house roof and that was it, never seen that again. Blink and you would of missed it, I just happened to be standing in the backyard having a smoke at 1:20am looking up at the night sky.
I saw a similar thing in 1984 in Putnam County, New York, while driving south on route 22 at night, just north of Route 84. A series of bright, small globes of white light in a delta formation were gliding very slowly in formation at about 1000 feet high, making no sound. I stopped my car in a parking lot and noticed other people looking at the formation, which was as wide as a quarter of the visible sky. As they passed, the lights changed colors and drifted out of range and I tried to follow them, but was not able to.
I personally don’t mind waiting for quality content as displayed on this channel and Bedtime Stories. In a literal ocean of clickbait and other crap I will gladly wait for quality videos such as this one. Quality over quantity as the saying goes. So don’t stress or feel like you need to apologize to us. Life was hectic and chaotic enough BEFORE the Covid pandemic. That being said, thanks for all the great content and here’s wishing you and yours a happy and healthy 2022!
Brilliant episode sir. I live in Denmark and am a civilian. I've had a couple experiences... My most memorable is, my best friend and i were going down through a patch of trees. So we could see the stars that night. But we were inside the city limits so admittedly there were some light pollution... But i happened to gaze up, and saw - what i initially thought - was a really bright star. Maybe even the ISS... But then a "light cone" kinda shot throught the nights sky. I then froze in place and grabbed my friends arm... He saw it as well... Strange light, like a massive "flashlight" scanning for something... After a while, a couple minutes, our eyes started to adjust to the darkness between the trees... And i saw a triangular shape, where the "flashlight" was at one of the corners. I saw the actual stars disappear behind the siluette of the triangle... And clouds between me, and the object... So it had to have been up high... I extended my arm, them spread my thumb and pinkie finger as much as I could, to get some sort of idea about it's size... It was bigger than my fingers could stretch... I was 22-23 years of age, at the time... I'm now 43... So a lot of time has passed... But that memory is vivid in my mind....
Seen this over Minnesota on our dock at night when I was fishing. It was late July, not a single cloud. 0 light pollution. You could literally see the "milky way" it was so starry. I'm always staring at them bc I only visit, and it's gorgeous off the calm water. Then I see this thing crossing the sky. I thought was a satellite orbiting south to north, not entirely uncommon to see if you look for them. Except when it hit right over head. It started flashing, not like a camera but it got intensely bright, brighter than anything in the sky, like it was taking a picture. And it QUIT MOVING. And the light would dim from a "dull star" to an INTENSE increase in brightness like a camera flash. It did this 5x within a 20 second period. Then went dim and continued it's path. Probably my top 3 weirdest sky phenomenon I've ever experienced.
I am a civilian living in Ontario, Canada. Couple of summers back, mid August to be exact, I was just sitting in my backyard enjoying a cool drink on account it was a hot day. I just happened to look up in the sky over the roof of my house and spotted an airliner flying over nearby Lake Ontario. Now Pearson International Airport is about 25 minutes away. No biggie right? I see airplanes all the time. But then I spotted another smaller craft, I thought it was a plane and it was flying above the initial jet and flying in the same path of trajectory. Again, I thought nothing of it. As I was gazing up at the two aircrafts, I then noticed that the bigger plane continued on it's eastern course but the smaller craft above the bigger craft appeared to stop in midflight and shoot straight up in the air until it got smaller and smaller and it seemed to just climb off into space until it disappeared entirely. Strangest thing I ever witnessed.
I saw the same thing around January 2018 in Austin TX. Left a comment on here a minute ago. Hadn't thought of it until watching the "Mantell" incident. Tiny dot on the horizon, moving east- I almost thought it was a satellite reflecting the sunset. Moved at a constant pace and then stopped in mid-air. When it suddenly shot straight up until it disappeared in the atmosphere. I live near Austin-Bergstrom Airport. It was NOT a plane. I know that much... When yours shot up into the air, did its speed also greatly increase compared to it's "cruising" speed?
I was just a kid sitting in the back of my parents wagon style car and I saw 2 lights sorts of dancing with each other up in the sky at night. I figured it was maybe air force training but they didn't blink it and went on for at least 30 minutes. I couldn't tell the distance or size or anything but it was indeed strange. I didn't even bother telling my parents I dunno why. My little brother has a much more personal story. I 100% believe something is going on. It's pure pride to think there's not some Alien Attenborough talking about us apes.
What a great channel, Luke! These stories are wonderfully detailed, narrated and illustrated. Also, thank you for your service and sharing some of what you experienced; much respect.
My whole family saw what I was watching and sat down to watch and easy to say, loved it and found it as interesting as I did. I remember seeing the Capt. Mantell story on one of those classic 70s documentaries that you would find on TV on the weekend in the 80s. I recall them stating that the UFO hit the plane with some sort of light which caused it to crash. It stated that the wreckage had unexplainable tiny holes riddled all over it. If this was true or over-embelished, I don't know but that story always stuck with me throughout the years. Was great to see it presented on your channel.
Thanks, Jacen, for sharing about your family. Lol. Made me smile to think I managed to capture their attention. I end up listening to the story so much (seems like dozens of times) before I finish the video that I get "worn out" and begin to wonder if it was ever as interesting as I first thought it was.
Hi, Luke. A civilian here, although my family's military service goes back at least to the Revolutionary War. Congratulations. You have done your research well on the Mantell incident. UFO were very commonly seen in the late 1940s and throughout the 1950s, this is one of the most intriguing early incidents. I live in a heavily forested region myself not all that far from the TN/VA area, but rather not be more specific. Having been a "sky watcher" since 1969/70, I've seen my share of unusual lights at night. But here are two of the most interesting info experiences of my own. My nephew and I saw an oval-shaped object around 1972 which would come over from the west at sunset for several days, then appear to descend into a national forest the town is near. I had been watching this a couple of evenings, then my nephew's family visited the third evening. The UFO moved slowly enough that it could be tracked with a backyard "moon telescope" that showed what appeared to be landing legs, and a long antenna-like projection at leading end. Had a tiny bright red light on its body as well. Was quite bright, others almost surely saw it, but not a word in local papers. A few years later, in broad daylight, my mom (God rest her soul), and I saw an "ice cream cone" shaped vehicle pass over the highway, maybe four hundred feet up, or maybe three. No trailing exhaust, was silver-white in color; it had a dark semi-circular band halfway around its body that we could see. Others were near by, and observed it too. Completely silent, very eerie. My mother had been skeptical until this, but obviously, was much less so afterwards.🙂 If you haven't already found it, Captain Edward J Rupplelt's 1956 book THE REPORT ON UFOs is a must, easy to find. I believe he is credited with coining the term "UFO" and was hard of Project Blue Book in the early 1950s.
There was a similar event in Texas back in the early 80s. Large Diamond shape object chased by many Chinook helicopters. One witness was said to have died of cancer.
I can't comment about Fort Knox area, but I've seen just a crazy amount of UFOs along the western edge of Tennessee into the western edge of Kentucky. For about a decade I drove a semi-truck in the evening into the night along mostly along US-51. After a while I started recording where I was, at what time, and what those things looked like. I probably made at least 70 or 80 reports to the National UFO Reporting Center over the years.
I'd love to witness a UFO encounter or something paranormal. Spent a bit of time in the US but live and work in London UK. Always wanted to explore the Skinwalker ranch area. So much lore surrounding it. Although If I took three weeks off work and camped nearby or got a hotel in the area probably nothing would ever happen.
@@jameslyddall I live on the south coast - Dorset - and I've seen two things I cannot explain. One was one of those Cigar Shaped Objects ( although I'd say it looked more like a huge antibiotic capsule ). It was a sort of silvery whiite colour and had five elongated black vertical ovals down it's side. It was heading in a NE ( ish lol ) direction towards our local airport ( where I worked for a couple of years ), and quite slowly climbed up into the clouds where I lost sight of it. Four of us witnessed the thing, and one of us got really frightened. As we were iin a moving vehicle I lied and told him it was just the huge Russian aircraft that often visited the local airport as I didn't want him to freak out and cause us to crash lol. I've no idea what it actually was, and I've wondered about it ever since.
Growing up in Smith county, Texas, weather balloons were a common sight during the 1980s. If it was the Navy lofting them back then, then the ones we saw likely came from Fort Worth Naval Air Station. One even came down on property owned by my grandfather. Seeing bright objects in the sky was pretty normal for us. We also lived under the landing path of an airport that was popular with the USAF for touch-and-go training so we saw everything from Chinooks to B-52s. However there is one craft I will never forget seeing flying along that landing path as if it was a normal aircraft. That craft was the same UFO associated with the Phoenix Lights. Yes. That one. I remember it because it was enormous, had five lights along the rear that lit up the ground below as if it was daylight, and for my sister telling me not to look and then not remembering even seeing the craft. The Mantel Incident inspired a Star Trek episode where Enterprise is the UFO and an F-102 is sent to intercept the starship. They accidentally destroy the fighter, but save the pilot.
Wild that this was recommended to me. I recently moved to Erin, TN, not too far from Fort Campbell. I live in a tiny camper in a wide open field. I spend alot of times outdoors. Since I have been here, I have seen strange things in the sky twice.
Wow! This channel just keeps on getting better and better - can’t wait to see part two. Thank you so much for all your hard work - if this was on tv I would be glued to the channel 24/7 !!
I’m still consistently amazed at the production quality on these videos. I still haven’t seen any other channels even get close to the type of content on Bedtime stories and Wartime stories. Keep it up and I can’t wait the the next episode! Also, I loved your personal story that you shared.
I am in love with this channel especially being a vet MYSELF, and I enjoy the fact there's a bit of animation to go along with each story. I just barely started following after hearing the El Diablo story and now I'm hooked.!! Binge watching the channel it's awesome keep em coming. Ooh Rah!!
The beginning introduction is awesome. As I commented before, there are very few war stories that I have ever found interesting. With that said, not only do I find your stories very interesting, I also look forward to seeing another video posted! Keep up the great work and keep the videos coming!!!
Remember in the movie Close Encounters Of The Third Kind when people are camped out on the side of the road waiting for the UFOs to fly by and when they do there were those small orbs of colored lights trailing after them? That's what I saw on Mt. Palomar late one night around 1986. There is a kind of look out point at the edge of the parking lot and a friend of mine and I were standing there talking and these two or three colorful balls of light maybe the size of basketballs, little bigger, (as I recall each was a different translucent color) snaked by us (silently) maybe 15-20 feet away. It happened so fast and came out if nowhere and was gone in a second or two we did not even react till it was over. He seemed to blow it off like it happens all the time but I think he was really freaked out. I just every now and then think, what was that? Ball lightning? It was clear and cold on top of that mountain I remember that.
Really like the story's of your personal encounters and look forward to part 2. While growing up in central Maine I've seen a few weird things in this location. Most memorable one when I was a teenager at the house I grew up in I was looking out the window of the back yard which extends into a large field that is a few hundred feet long. Way off into the distance at the end of the field above the tree line I saw a light which at the time did not seem to weird until it slowly got closer. I mentioned something to my dad and brother and we went outside to get a closer look. The object continued to move closer and eventually over the house. It was not at the height of regular aircraft it was much lower and had 3 very distinct lights in a triangle shape, it also made no sound as it was completely silent Not long after this I was at a friends house who was taking flying lessons ( He's now a pilot of South West airlines all these years later ) and he had out one of his flight maps which showed airports and places you could and could not fly. The entire central area of Maine is all restricted commercial aircraft space which would also explain why I never saw commercial planes flying directly over head growing up as a kid and gave more weight to whatever it was that I saw that night with the 3 lights in a triangle shape was not of commercial use. We do have one air force base in the state ( Loring air force base ) but it has been closed for a long time as far as military use.
Wow, I heard your story on the smoke pit episode today, I have a very similar encounter in Maine (western Maine, lakes region) This wasmid- july 2017, probably 9pm or there abouts, we have a vacation home on a hill, also in a field, that looks towards the lakes/white mts. anyways, my mom called me outside after seeing some red lights by the lake, when I got out I saw 2 distinct red lights, drifting down by the lake, they seemed to then vanish, I chalked it up to a plane or whatever. Maybe an hour later, boom its back, we were leaving there house to sleep in our small cabin which is like 2 miles away. As we were going to the car, I saw the red lights slowly moving NE a bit north of our field, no sound at all, and the object was low, maybe 1000-2000 feet in the air max. as we were driving down the drive way, it just stopped and was hovering, it seemed to have 3 red lights and a white one in the middle. It was hard to make out shape as couldn't;t see any of the 'body' itself (Chevron/triangle it seemed though) Anyways, we went to the cabin and I couldn't get it off my mind, I wish I'd had m own car up there at the time. The next morning, I was looking up ufo's in the area, I found a report from 2010, literally the same road/area, and seemed they described the same craft/location/heading and that it was silent. Since then I actually contacted that person and we emailed our stories to one another. I've been up there many times since, overnights too, and seen nothing, but there are other weird ufo reports in the local papers archives. (not quite like mine but in the general area) I can't get past the fact about the 2010 report, and how the craft followed the same path , anyways I instantly thought of my story when I heard it! thanks for sharing
@Lethal Venom & @Ben Val as long as there were no sightings of huge wasps or tentacles reaching into storerooms.. is the grocery store still intact? Sorry, just watched The Mist for the 4th time... it's been nearly 40 years since my best friend & I read that novella, and a couple years since I'd watched the film.. still terrifies the bleepidy bleep out of me.
A few nights after 9-11-2001, when all aircraft were grounded, I was at work. It was around 10-11 PM I’d say and I was looking out at the horizon where there were about 8-10 sets of what I’d call headlights of helicopters or planes maybe. They were hovering there for awhile and to this day I still have no idea exactly what was going on. I checked the newspaper for that area the next few days and found nothing about it. I asked around and no one else had seen it besides me and a coworker. This was in Kentucky, about 20 minutes south of Cincinnati.
Can supplement your account with one of my own. A friend of mine at the time and I, purposefully watched the skies in the hours and days following the 9-11 tragedies. This was in Denver, CO. On the 3rd night of no-fly enforcement we saw 7 lights at altitudes probably no planes can fly. They, at one point made a circling display. Clockwise and counter, too. 3 of them eventually dispersed and faded while the other four made various formations until they ascended out of view. Needless to say, we continued on with our lives never feeling the same. Not in a negative sense, but with a new perspective of our position in the universe.
I was so excited to see the notification of this video coming up I instantly called my friend who recently started watching the series with me to come and join me in watching the episode. Keep up the good work dude and happy late New Years to you as well.
I enjoy this channel everything about it so thank you Sir you keep posting great videos and I will keep watching. Also Happy New Year to you and your family. May 2022 bring you good health, happiness and prosperity.
Thanks Katina! I certainly wish you and your family the same. And as much as haven't responded to them yet, I always enjoy seeing your comments. Been a while since I've seen any Hercule Poirot episodes! Your playlist just reminded me I need to rewatch those. I'll be whistling that theme song for the rest of the evening now.
Thank you Luke. I really appreciate all of your work. Are you going to do something on the Buffalo Ranch? I sure hope so. This channel is one of my favorite channels on youtube. I love the artwork, and narrations, and stories.
I always look forward to your new posts, and of course Bedtime Stories. Thanks for posting, and I also appreciate your initial clarification that stories are all true unless noted otherwise.
Happy 2022 brother, lets get this channel to a million this year! As always, impeccable job 👏 the amount of work you put into your episodes definently show. Cheers Luke.
Hey Luke!Love the stories,I live in Marshall Co Ky about an hour from Ft Campbell,I'm a Brick and Block Mason, and have worked on Ft Campbell and Ft Knox many times,so theses stories hit home for me.
I am the poster child for someone who doesn't believe in aliens, conspiracy theories or UFOs. But I this video got me thinking about a particular encounter I had when I was just a boy. It's December 24, 2003. Me (10) and sister (7yrs old) still believed in Santy Claus (that's how we say it down here in Georgia lol) in 2003. My room's window faced the culdasac in our neighborhood. I remember looking out the window right before my bedtime. There was this star or something in the sky. About some distance away. It's sparkling bright in the sky. And I don't mean like the rest of the stars do. It was sparkling and glistening in the night sky like how you imagine the North Star from the Bible. It was the most beautiful thing I had seen. Now I had flown on planes before and after 9/11 (mom's parents lived in AZ) so I knew it wasn't a plane or a helicopter. To my 10 year old brain, it was Santy Claus. It stayed in the same place for several minutes. I was captivated by it. Given I was 10 years old and still believed in good Ole saint nick, I struggled to contain my squeals as I thought he was bringing me a copy of Thomas and the Magic Railroad starring Alec Baldwin. I rushed to tell my sister and parents but when we went outside, the glistening star was gone. Still convinced I saw Santy, I started demanding everyone go to bed so the Jolly Man could deliver my VHS tape (gawd I'm old...) Despite my dad not wanting to, my mom agreed and we all went to bed. The very next morning, as we unwrapped our presents, Ma informed me and my sister that they had been lying to us for years... spoiler alert.... *sniff* Santy Claus ain't real... But 21 years later, watching this video, I got t thinking... what was it that saw that Christmas eve night?
Edelweiss is the name of a white flower found in Europe. It's a common symbol of purity. Theres probably an awful lot of villages, towns, places, parks, appartment blocks, suburbs, etc etc etc called Edelweiss....so you may need to be a bit more specific.
I think with each video this channel grows in confidence and style. This one was fantastically produced, really well researched and brilliantly told. Well done!
Thanks Sean. Since these Fort Campbell stories have the luxury of being told from a "first person" perspective I opted for more of a comfotable tone. Might try to carry that through to other third-person narration. See how it works! Thanks for saying so. Silly as it is, I feel I would be remiss if I didn't share with you that my best friend's name is Sean (the guy who voiced O'Connor in the Roy Benavidez videos) and his wife's maiden name is Miller. Had to chuckle when I saw your name pop up in the TH-cam channel members awhile back and immediately messaged him to check if it wasn't him incognito lol.
@@WartimeStories it's a very engaging delivery style and would definitely be interesting to see how it works for third person narrative videos, definitely worth experimenting! Thanks for the quality content, thoroughly enjoying the channel so far and can't wait for the next video! Hahaha nice little coincidence there - I also share a name with the IRA terrorist in Tom Clancy's Patriot Games (and the film with Harrison Ford) if you were wondering where else you might have heard it before!
Absolutely top notch stuff. Excellent work and great story telling and narration. Fast becoming one of my favourite channels on TH-cam, so thanks Luke.
You are correct, but that does not explane the shadows, orthe fact that the other officer would looking would have blocked the light.Let me change that to, could have blocked the light.
I witnessed the same type of event in November of 2001 while traveling west on the Ohio turnpike. Roughly 10 of these lights played with fighter jets. We were watching this take place in the western sky at sunset and we estimated it was around Sandusky or the Indiana border. Cars were pulling over to the side of the road to watch. Radio stations in Cleveland received over 500 calls describing the event. One caller who said he lived on the lake Erie shoreline claimed that he watched a craft enter and exit the lake that same evening. I don't know about that but I will say that watching those lights toy with the military planes was amazing.
My parents ran a Family Care Home for Disabled Veterans for 35yrs. Growing up where we live on top of a mountain in Kentucky I saw weird lights on more than one occasion. This was the mid 90s, there was a light that barely moved but hovered like a drone but was completely silent. Followed me to my grandpaws and back and then just took off like a bat outa Hell. About 6months later I saw it again. We're 15 miles from the Bluegrass Army Depot. My Grandfather retired from there after 30 years. The same exact thing he described Is what I saw. Only no flash from the bottom but moved quickly exactly how he described it
Awesome work as usual! The animation of the P-51’s is great. I appreciate the attention to detail in adding in the right Merlin engine sound and whistle of a P-51.
I absolutely adore this channel. Change nothing ever, not even the intros omg. This and Bedtime Stories I swear to God, some of the genuinely best content on TH-cam, Like the other person below said, wait is more than worth it. Edit: Oh and the freaking art style of the images.
I was stationed in Fort Campbell and this is the second program you posted about something unusual. The first was Bigfoot. When I was at Fort Campbell the only unusual things I experienced were: 1-Pizza sucked 2-Pasta was over cooked 3-Everything was too far apart 4-No public transportation 5-Everyone didn't think I was white because I'm Italian. You should do a program on those things with spooky music in fbe background.
Hey Luke, I hope you are having a great start to the new year. How's the little fella going? I hope he's putting on lots of weight and getting stronger!
The author's UFO sighting greatly resembles the object sighted in the 1980 Cash Landrum Incident, which was also pursued by Chinook helicopters. Those helicopters were suspected to be attached to the 160th SOAR, an elite special/black operations helicopter regiment based at Fort Campbell, or its precursor unit.
Of a personal note,... I did the math and realized that you and I are of a similar age. It is AWESOME to have a creator doing as well as you while covering intriguing and important content that is older than 21-years. Be well and stay safe everyone! I 🖖🐢👣
Great episode! The Mantell incident has always fascinated me. Also, the sound clips of the P-51's was great, I hear them every year when the air show is in town and that distinctive "whistle" accompanying the engine sound is amazing. Also interesting is that just now I googled Fort Campbell and the map shows that it's near Hopkinsville... even more high strangeness.
Chinook is pronounced "shinook" btw....lol their isn't many of our words that announce a "ch" sound.
Oh boy. Thanks.

The way that UFO was described (cube-shaped, almost like a diamond) reminded me of another encounter in Texas, the 1980 Cash-Landrum Incident. Just like the one in Kentucky, the UFO in Texas was also said to be being pursued by several Chinook helicopters.
@@osakarose5612
Sadly, because of their close proximity to the UFO, the radiation emanating from it had a profound negative impact on their lives. One or two of them died of cancer several years after the incident, if I'm not mistaken.
It's the same story different perspective
Exactly what I was thinking, eerily similar to this one.
It's an amazing feeling seeing unknowns in the sky & not everything has to be a close encounter to be interesting- i believe you bud
Freaky!
I should add the blinking light disappeared and reappeared seconds later in what would be miles apart.
@@DudeInOhio85 kinda figured that's what you meant, but thank you for clarification 😊
This one is really good I think they're new(er).
Damn I’m in the tristate area and when I was in my second year of high school
There were two white lights flying in a clockwise direction above my high school.
I live in southern Indiana, back in 2012 I had seen "something" and it was heading in the direction of fort Knox.
I lived in muldraugh. Where were you at?
I personally don’t mind waiting for quality content as displayed on this channel and Bedtime Stories.

That's an interesting story. Thank you for sharing it.
Heyyy they use this one in another video, crediting the commenter

My mother had been skeptical until this, but obviously, was much less so afterwards.🙂
If you haven't already found it, Captain Edward J Rupplelt's 1956 book THE REPORT ON UFOs is a must, easy to find. I believe he is credited with coining the term "UFO" and was hard of Project Blue Book in the early 1950s.
There was a similar event in Texas back in the early 80s. Large Diamond shape object chased by many Chinook helicopters. One witness was said to have died of cancer.
As someone who grew up next to Ft. Knox, this is the first time I've heard of this. Thanks!

This channel is absolutely addictive and amazing. Thank you Luke.
I appreciate you getting content out… always much respect to Bedtime Stories and You ( Wartime Stories )

It was not at the height of regular aircraft it was much lower and had 3 very distinct lights in a triangle shape, it also made no sound as it was completely silent
Not long after this I was at a friends house who was taking flying lessons ( He's now a pilot of South West airlines all these years later ) and he had out one of his flight maps which showed airports and places you could and could not fly.

Luke, I like how you've taken this format and made it your own. You're a good narrator and I like the personal accounts you add sometimes.
Your production, art, graphic, narration, writing, is top notch.

Hell yeah always stoked when you drop a new video
My question..... He has a phone but apparently takes no pictures or videos after watching the light for 15 minutes? 😅🤣😂
@@RedBone-q2v
I don't see where he stated that he had a cellphone.
Really liked the episode and the personal bonus story! Thank You 😊
Shipton, aka Suicide Hill, in Germany was pretty haunted but not as bad as the housing near there. I think it was called Edelweiss?
As in the flower/The Sound of Music song?
'Edelweiss, edelweiss, flower of white, you ..' sorry.
Edelweiss is the name of a white flower found in Europe. It's a common symbol of purity. Theres probably an awful lot of villages, towns, places, parks, appartment blocks, suburbs, etc etc etc called Edelweiss....so you may need to be a bit more specific.
@Nah mate how ironic
@Nah mate *you're
This is sooo good! I love a good ufo story but add on the military aspect as well, hell yes
Great stories, sir.
This is eerily similar to the pentrych incident that bedtime stories covered also similar to something I saw at my school which overlooked an airbase
The cube-shaped UFO is the literal exact same as in the BedTime Stories episode ‘The Second Kind’, complete with flames shooting out the bottom...
Absolutely top notch stuff. Excellent work and great story telling and narration. Fast becoming one of my favourite channels on TH-cam, so thanks Luke.
Another Great video!! I love this channel!! Thanks for all the hard work entertaining the masses 😁
Excellent stories. Well narrated. Awesome sighting of UFO at the end.
Plane windows have an inner and an outer pane of glass. Its common to see interior lights from the plane reflected in them.
This is quite a hidden gem. Love your content dude, keep it up!
Awesome job, and love the bonus content at the end.
Let's go. Always a great day when you upload, my guy.
Yo, you cant do the 'to be continued' bit lol!! I'll be pulling my hair out waiting for my stories for bedtime now. Good stuff.
LOVE your intro! I really enjoy your content, and how you make history that much more interesting! Thank you. Happy New Year to you and yours!
Hope there are many more of these stories. Love this site. Thanks mate.
Only no flash from the bottom but moved quickly exactly how he described it
It's criminal that the Military chose to explain away rather than seriously investigate such incidents. Wonderful presentation.
Awesome work as usual! The animation of the P-51’s is great. I appreciate the attention to detail in adding in the right Merlin engine sound and whistle of a P-51.
Hope this channel takes off like Bedtime did. It's great and the narration is great as well.
Keep it coming!
When I was at Fort Campbell the only unusual things I experienced were:
1-Pizza sucked
2-Pasta was over cooked
3-Everything was too far apart
4-No public transportation
5-Everyone didn't think I was white because I'm Italian.
You should do a program on those things with spooky music in fbe background.
You must be fun at parties
@@bartomiejdaszkowski407 LOL!!!
Happy new year! I look forward to all your fantastic work. I appreciate the work you put in and it shows with absolute quality.
Hey Luke, I hope you are having a great start to the new year. How's the little fella going? I hope he's putting on lots of weight and getting stronger!
Arthur is doing very well, thanks!
Perfect timing! I'm building a TIGER1 right now and was really looking forward to a good story.
Been here since the very beginning and have always thoroughly enjoyed your content and you just keep improving. Keep up the good work.
Yo, I was watching Home Movies the other day. 😂
Thanks for the video ❤🙏🏻
The author's UFO sighting greatly resembles the object sighted in the 1980 Cash Landrum Incident, which was also pursued by Chinook helicopters. Those helicopters were suspected to be attached to the 160th SOAR, an elite special/black operations helicopter regiment based at Fort Campbell, or its precursor unit.
Awesome story and production as always.

New wartime stories video ✅
Awesome video bro. Keep it up 👍
Of a personal note,...
Have heard about ww1 Gallipoli cloud story
That pilots plane broke up
Great job with these mate.
Haven't seen your channel before but these are really well researched.
Keep it up.
