Excellent video Marion, thank you for being so clear, you have saved me money, it's not for me, what with the insurance, legislation etc, far too many things to think about besides making and marketing, very much appreciated :)

You made me laugh when you mentioned the large flame 🔥 😂
I made a candle and glued glitter to it. Then I sprayed the whole thing with acrylic sealer to seal the glitter on. When I lit the wick it was like a blowtorch 😮
I was like “that was a FAIL” lol
But that’s how you learn right?

That’s right, testing is how you learn and this is why it is so key to do before selling!

Hi, great video! It could look a little bit discouraging like you said but actually it really isn’t, it’s just the simple truth! Me for example I’m having problems with frosting (I make colored candles) so today I bought Kerasoy Pillar 4120 because you seem to be very satisfied about this wax (I preferred this one to Ecosoya pillar blend because of the sinking problems I hear about…). So , I have one simple question: which precise temperature do you personally pour Kerasoy 4120? All website say a different thing.
Thank you soooo much in advance!!

Hi, why don't you use fragrance in your candles? Is there any specific reason?
Another question, when you're exhibiting your candles at a craft fair, and people ask if they have a scent or not, what do you respond if they inquire about the reason for them not having a scent?

      Hello,
In my opinion using FO is a waste of money for decorative candles because:
      1) they do not create a sufficient melt pool to throw scent efficiently. FO is very expensive and therefore does not make sense to me.
      2) scent cross contamination of silicone mould
I was never asked this question. I also have my scented candles on my stand and everything is clearly explained.

Can I use same molds for both beeswax candles and soy wax candles ? Or do I need to wash with soap water after each use?

I don’t know about Etsy bringing traffic…because you need to pay extra money for that I think.. 🤔

You can pay for extra ads, that’s true. But even without that with a listing correctly optimized Etsy is a great traffic driver. But product relevance and listing quality is key.
