Me too. I'd worn a fedora to Elland Road when we won 1-0, but was late and ended up with the home fans... fedora didn't last long :-(

This was my first game at the tender age of 11, got crushed and saw none of the game but loved it.

I was 4foot 4 10year old started queueing shed end 10.30am ..... by the time the turnstile,s opened i was close to death i,don,t know how i did,nt collapse , ,but i still remember the taste of air when i climbed the step,s to the shed

Hard being a Chelsea fan in those years although Palace had some quality players in Taylor and Whittle for a 3rd Div side.
