Cpt in your opinion which team do you think will win tank bowl? the Americans rule the mid tiers while the Germans rule the high tiers some people call the American Heavys "victory tanks" but that idea is blown out of the water by vehicles like the Jagdtiger, Tigers, Panthers, and the tanks in the Leopard 1 line it's gonna be very close
I wasn't too sure about the Shermans to start with but I am liking them now. I have the upgraded Easy 8 and got the Fury yesterday. Have had a few good battles in them. Should come in handy in Tankbowl as we are team USA. Hope to get the Quarterbacks bundle at some stage.
I rushed through the Easy 8, but enjoyed my grind in it and thought it would be nice to have a prem version, just so I don't lose silver. Its accuracy-too poor to reliably hit weak spots-forced me to dip into prem rounds more frequently than I'd prefer. Buuuut I gotta agree, I don't think it's worth it. Regarding its cool factor, two years ago it was the only tank with "pieces of flair" but I feel the Boilermaker devalues it. Anyway I've already three marked the 30.01 D in the same class-without resorting to prem rounds-and I've been having a lot of fun in the A-43 with a skilled light tank crew in there so this was an easy pass for me, especially after your very informative review. Thanks for that! I was just thinking I'll save that gold for the forthcoming E23 standalone bundle, so it's great that you're reviewing that next!
Hi Captain - Yep finding the Fury ok but nothing special. Finding both accuracy and pen patchy. For me, I still prefer the boilermaker despite the lack of gun dep. Don't think I will be playing the fury a that often.
Interesting that you are so aggressive in the Fury....The way I three-stared my Easy-Eight tank is what I like to say "sensible aggressiveness" where you poke out and see where the enemies weakest positions are and when you see an opening you take it.....You are hell itself to the French auto-loaders and have to do a swift retreat on Russian heavies but from what I understand you can do very well. I bought the Fury recently though so I can't tell you yet if it is the exact same play style....I keep getting difficult matches.
I love the way the FURY tank looks, however I don't believe I will spend money on a purely cosmetic tank. I love my easy eight just recently hitting 300+ battles in it. Great for hills and medium range sniping, amazing flanker. The e8 is one of the best late game cleanup tanks in my opinion for it's tier. Great review all in all and I fully agree with you about the Fury, it is an ok tank compared to the e8 and I would not recommend it over say the firefly or the tt e8.
Did they up the price for this thing cause I was sure I could get the 131 and fury base bundles for less than £35 , I thaught the fury was under 3000 gold
I know I'm a bit late to the table with my comment, but do you or anyone else with both the easy 8 and fury notice a slight height difference? I also notice that you penn more often with a yellow reticle then the tech tree e8
Yeah I know they used them for that, but (and I could be completely wrong) they usually just had one log for that because it was quicker to just attach one across the tracks than multiple ones. They wouldn't provide much protection but they'd at least set HE off before it hit the hull, and I just feel that Wargaming could have made them give maybe 5-10mm of spaced armour, but you did make a good point :)
Got the bright stars package yesterday. I had the boilermaker already so i got some gold refunded, and bought the E-25 with a bunch of perma camo. I really bought it for the same reason i got kraft's panther, wich is its looks. Having said so, it's not a bad tank at all. Got rid of mentor in favor of sixth sense, and i'm now training BIA. I think i'm keeping the wardaddy crew in it, and i also found this should have gotten perma camo without the option to buy other camo for it

I'm not saying that it's a bad tank because it's not, the Easy Eight is a good tank, I just feel that Wargaming were a bit lazy just making it cosmetic differences, and that the reduced armour on the lower glacis is unnecessary

The logs on the side aren't there for spaced armor. They are there so the crew can use them if they get stuck in the mud.

Hmmm I actually love this tank. You do have to use premium rounds here and there. But that DPM plus gun depression plus snapshot ability works for me.

interesting fact the fury only has ten degrees of gun depression on pc
I already have over 120,000xp on my fury
had this since the fury movie came out paid 50$
logs go under the tracks if it gets stuck in the mud. same reason Russian tanks have logs on them. great review though. keep it up :)
