Note: For anyone wondering, please either create a Grim fork or use something alongside the anti-cheat. It may be decent for movement cheat detection, it isn't at all for certain combat and scaffold checks. Also, this video is of horrible quality, and I plan to make a scripted version of it with my own configuration (on my own server).
i think the main devs of grim are working on a new version of grim which will have more checks like heuristic-based checks, hopefully meaning that they will actually work on combat checks lol good video btw, underrated asf
@@xlzxq. They are indeed working on “Grim 3.0”, where they are adding heuristics-based checks. It is paid however (I’ve heard they are using some of 2.0’s code too, which may be a GPL violation). Might do a video on it to see how good it is though.
I'd rather create my own anti cheat alongside it. If you fork grim you won't be able to get all the new patches and implementations for newer minecraft versions. If you don't know how to code then Grim + Vulcan is decent, but won't prevent everything.
@@AbiHurry vulcan might false movement when using it with grim because of the way that grim corrects your movement, vulcan movement checks are really not needed if you have grim lol

@gavinwritescode doesnt that mean that polar can get sued or even deleted
@@AbiHurry honestly idk I’m not a lawyer
@gavinwritescode i dont think they would do anything about the gpl violation because after all its mostly their code lmao
@ true
I just watched all of your videos and thought to myself: man this guy must have like 10k subs or more… and then I realised… But thx for the videos ;)
You should test all false positives and bypasses on latest git on a local server for an accurate rating
@@sadeeper Alr
No sprint scaffold anymore
Now do a review of intave (the worst anticheat)
@Cre4tor. trust
tickbase works up to 5 and backtrack is unlimited
They actually refuse to fix Back Track 💀
@gavinwritescode i dont mind
@gavinwritescode I dont blame them, they are most likely saying that so legits dont get falsed with over 300-600ms
@ ye
@gavinwritescode i get mitigated easily legit on high ping polar because they have those lag checks
I built my own anti-cheat from scratch :D
still working on it got a license key server and everything. I don’t know if I really wanna sell it or not.
@@TawnyE You should make videos on things you add and such, id love to see them!
It’s really up to you whether or not you want to sell it.
If you get it to a point where it detects a lot of stuff without much false, you could sell it. Just what I would do though.
If you've got a licence key server you should definitely be trying to sell it

i would choose vulcan for some movement checks

SERVER IP ?
@@DROKO_NIOME It was tested on eu.loyisa.cn
YEAH MOOOOOOOOOORE
grim with vulcan would be good
Only if you have decent moderation. You can still bypass this combo easily and every lag-based cheat like backtrack still works.
@@TheTigerPython sure but it’s one of the best combo for its budget
@@idkjusttired Grim actually got a 3.0 version available but no big server uses it so far.
@TheTigerPython wdym there's no 3.0 is it like a fork or smth
Vulcan with grim is pretty popular, maybe one of the most popular combos
