I remember being in middle school waiting all week to see this show and it never let m down. Anybody remember his wine cooler comercials? It's wet and it's dry my my my my.
Repressed, Obsessed or any of those s words-wonderful dialogue. Most romantic shows don't have this whip smart, literate level of banter like MOONLIGHTING did including many such films. The show worked both on the plot and dialogue levels. Marvelous. Heaven help us all indeed.
This was back when Cybill Shepherd was stunningly gorgeous and Bruce Willis had a lot of charm and charisma mixed in with some his machismo attitude. 😊😎
I don’t remember much from this series however, I do remember the 1980’s and please believe me when I tell you that NO matter what anyone else tells you, THIS was the LAST and ONLY decade to remember. Period. 💯 Long live the 80’s, long live “ME”.
This is terrific scene from the Pilot-one of the the best. Notice how the scene turns after David calls Maddie a "ball of fluff" and then Maddie responds by calling David "a sissyfighter" and emasculates him even while tied up. And then her punching David after being released from her bonds. Great stuff.
Where is the epsiode where Bruce Willis was trying to find a bomb in a parking lot and Jimi Hendrix's Manic Depression was playing in the background. That was the coolest episode.
i love the plastic fantastic lover episode - when they're in the room with all the noses on display and maddie says, i'd never pick a nose like that - all the double entendres were so outrageous. there was no one on tv quite like maddie and david!
I was just waiting to see David get rolled into the gutter, one more time. I think I watched all the episodes when I was a kid. Inspiration of my screenwriting.
Gunfight at So-So Corral is represented here by the scene in the alley. What's a shame is that this episode-the first after the pilot- features a powerful perfomance from Pat Corley who plays a hit man stalked by other younger hit men who want to off him. It is a suprisingly powerful and dramatic early episode.
Let’s be honest. Cybil Shepard had a big nose. Now... let’s talk about the face and that hair... not to mention that icy, angry chill about her. Priceless.
Me too when I first saw the Die Hard trailer, I didn't buy it. I was like "that guy from that weirdly funny TV show?!? Nah, it won't work". Well, he sure fooled me. I think still Moonlighting is his best acting work.
Die Hard is good, but it was the strong supporting cast that made it all work. Bruce isn't nearly as talented as he thinks he is. He did some great stunts and had a look for it, but his acting was so-so compared to all the supporting cast.
@tdelamont...But u must admit ? He made the Die Hard movie a success ? I did'nt know if it would fly ? But his "1 Liners "are classic to this day ! I use this 1 alot ! WELCOME TO THE PARTY PAL !
My grandma loved this show. When I was really little I remember her & my uncle loved it. I remember the show went downhill when they slept together. That's always the kiss of death. Reminds me a bit of benson & stabler only they never went there although fans wanted them too. Bruce willis with hair ! They both are very attractive people. Didnt they have an affair while doing the show ? I heard they also did not get along. So maybe both. Just like the characters.
Bruce isn't nearly as good looking or talented as he thinks he is. I did like him in 12 Monkeys though, probably because he was out of his element and didn't have that fake cocky attitude.
This show was fire. Dialogue was POP POP POP. Greatest show of the 80s
Cybill Shepherd was amazing looking.
The magic of Die Hard is that he is an average guy in an extraordinary situation. He's one of the best.
I remember being in middle school waiting all week to see this show and it never let m down. Anybody remember his wine cooler comercials? It's wet and it's dry my my my my.
Both of them looked gorgeous during those 80's days.
I still think he's a lot better as a comedian than he is a tough guy ..
I forgot how awesome this show was. They are so hilarious.
I tried to never miss a episode of Moonlighting I think the show is still great.
Always loved her 80s BMW 6 series!
Repressed, Obsessed or any of those s words-wonderful dialogue. Most romantic shows don't have this whip smart, literate level of banter like MOONLIGHTING did including many such films. The show worked both on the plot and dialogue levels. Marvelous. Heaven help us all indeed.
woww i love her dress.... THEY ARE THE BEST!

Great stuff.
Happy Birthday, Moonlighting!
28 years ago today, the pilot first aired. :-)
Love that Bernard Hermann-ish music when they jump into the water. hehe
nice clips from one of the best shows ever!!!!!
I'm Thirteen And I Love Moonlighting And Cybill
you're 21 now. how does it feel?
23 now 😂
I love when she says "sissy fighter" the second time...
I remember this show
I WANT A MOVIE!
Where is the epsiode where Bruce Willis was trying to find a bomb in a parking lot and Jimi Hendrix's Manic Depression was playing in the background. That was the coolest episode.
Bruce Willis is too cute! xD
I havent' seen this show or anything about it in I don't know *how* long but this little clip here reminds me how much I loved it! LOL
i love the plastic fantastic lover episode - when they're in the room with all the noses on display and maddie says, i'd never pick a nose like that - all the double entendres were so outrageous.
there was no one on tv quite like maddie and david!
The only scene i remember her gorgeous hair being all wet. Simply beautiful.
Why doesn't this come on TV anymore? (as reruns of course!)
Now I want one of those Medicate Me tshirts
5:06 "Medicate Me" LOL XD ... Love this show!!
great serie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know you asked this question 4 years ago, but the episode you're looking for is from S4, episode 2, called Come Back Little Shiksa. :)
great!! some of my favorites as well
I saw bruce in first movie : moonlighting, Iam falling in love with him..
Bruce Willis and his watches. I wonder if he alternates between his fathers’ watch and the one his grandmother gave him.
I was just waiting to see David get rolled into the gutter, one more time. I think I watched all the episodes when I was a kid. Inspiration of my screenwriting.
Even though it hasn't aged well, Moonlighting was one of the best shows ABC ever made.
Cybill is great but Bruce comes off as a blowhard who is too cocky given his meager talents.
Gunfight at So-So Corral is represented here by the scene in the alley.
What's a shame is that this episode-the first after the pilot- features a powerful perfomance from Pat Corley who plays a hit man stalked by other younger hit men who want to off him.

Wow she looked so young back then.
Let’s be honest. Cybil Shepard had a big nose.
Now... let’s talk about the face and that hair... not to mention that icy, angry chill about her.
Priceless.
I forgot how loud this show was.
benim için hatırlahtığı çok şey var hala unutamadım özlüyorum o günleri

@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 I couldn't disagree.
I think it would be cool to make a remake of the series.
Great Acting Couple
That guy with the Full Set of Hair, should do Action Movies
@tdelamont...But u must admit ? He made the Die Hard movie a success ? I did'nt know if it would fly ? But his "1 Liners "are classic to this day ! I use this 1 alot ! WELCOME TO THE PARTY PAL !
I could only do one scene per episode, that one's way better imo lol
never realised back then how much he sounds like M.J.Fox
Bonk, Bonk, Bonk.
not a bad attitude at all!
How could u forget the clock tower scene from the pilot??
Wasn't that O Brother can you spare a blonde? 1st episode of the 2nd season
✨😁✨
@tony76ms U got that right!
If she knows how to act than i'm an actress too. Bruce dude i love you! :)
This show is soo great i cant stand it lol
3:56 😛

How did this guy go on to do Die Hard series ? Was anyone in their right mind impressed with Bruce Willis in Moonlighting. He was lucky I'd say.
I'm from Germany; welcher komischer Vogel hatte die Idee diese Serie zu Produzieren?
Bruce isn't nearly as good looking or talented as he thinks he is. I did like him in 12 Monkeys though, probably because he was out of his element and didn't have that fake cocky attitude.
wtf
After this Bruce decided to start a very shitty band
I never realized how lame this show was. Man we must have been starved for entertainment back then. So much for nostalgia.. :p
