Shaun was in Reading, Pa in 2017 doing a midnight jam section with Jazz bassist Gerald Veasley. He torn that Hammond B3 up that night! The All star band played Grover’s Mister Magic; him (Shaun) Bob Baldwin, Walter Beasley, and Adam Hawley killed it that night! But Shaun? OMG! We gave him a standing ovation! Got a chance to meet him after the show; great guy. So sorry to hear about his passing. May he R.I.P and my condolences to his family and friends and Michael and the rest of the Snarky Puppy band.😞🙏🏾🎶🎹👍🏾

That was Cory Henry and Shaun Martin were both playing together. Maybe that was God speaking to me about his passing. Hard to believe this, the world has got a little less gifted at musical.
