His sister's demeanor is so much like Johnny's. Her calm way of speaking, the tone of her voice, her rhythm, her blinking, scratching her head. So interesting to see.

I think what’s different about her testimony compared to so many other testimonies is the complete lack of ego in her words and demeanor. She’s not on the stand to prove how smart she is, to be snarky, to be combative, or to even give the most pristine account of things. She’s there to provide her and her little brother’s truth bc she loves him and her heart breaks for him. Her words and mere presence say so much about this case.
Hearing this from his sister hurts, Johhny saw his father treated like this and then ended up being treated the same way by his own wife. I truly hope he clears his name with this trial.

When Johnny Depp was filming the “The Rum Diary” in Puerto Rico, I was 13 y/o and obviously loved him (still do). I waited for him outside of the building he was filming in, but couldn’t get an interaction with him because they took him away in a golf car. I ran after him and when we got to a closed parking area away from the crowd, I screamed “JOHNNY” he turned around, looked at me and told the driver to stop the car, he got out walked over to me (I was so in shocked I couldn’t move), hugged me, calmed me down and signed my shirt. He didn’t have to do any of that, he was far and in a moving car. He made that little 13 y/o life. He has an amazing soul. I pray he gets the justice he deserves. I am relieved someone cares about that baby. It was so weird when Amber came out with that article about having a baby through surrogate. It felt very wrong and I am so concerned about that child.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who will be a dedicated follower thanks to these trials, I didn't know him well but following this case, it's clear he does his best to maintain an outstanding character. I look up to him and hope I will be able to treat ny family to such a beautiful life they deserve, and to be there for my mother and parents to help her transition into her next phase of their journey. Even if he doesn't win, he has cleared his name with all of the people who care enough to pay attention. Not only that but he not only reversed the damage to his reputation, but showed the world his credibility and integrity. Definitely one of the bigger stars that I look up to.
Fighting creates an adrenaline rush, and just like Meth, it can be addicting. Stage Fright might have also fed it. Amber did not know how else to get another dose of that same strong adrenaline blend. Trying to argue with Johnny, who was trying his best to deny Amber her 'drug', was futile and frustrating. Male adrenaline addicts usually do extreme sports or jobs like Test Pilots, and become admired for their bravado. Their wife lives a life of never knowing what day will be their husband's last. Two different sides of the same problem. Too bad Amber wasn't more athletic!

If he grew up seeing his father hit his mother then there would be a key figure in his life as an impressionable child absorbing that as normal and would likely grow up to be similar or think it's not that bad to grow up and do that to a wife of his own. Having the opposite of that as a dad would have the opposite impression on him as he grew. In fact, his mom being the aggressive one toward his dad would be what he saw as normal which is why he may have put up with that in his own marriage.

Johnny's lawyer is the bomb. When he's on the sidelines you see him cracking jokes with him. And when he's up asking the questions he asks short, concise questions... when there are objections, he politely insists as to why his question is good, and whether the judge over-rules or sustains the objections he says thank you your honor. He even cracked a joke with the witness at 39 minutes or so. Did you see the big smile that came over her face? I'm sure it's very stressful being on the stand, and the burst of humor even under that tension I'm sure was very helpful to her, keeping her composure.

Amber beat her last lover, Johnny has never beat anyone. ALL of Johnny’s Ex girlfriend stood up for him and said they’d never believe he hit anyone. That’s saying a lot when all your ex’s come to defend you.

I love how authentic and genuine she is. I’m biased because I can relate as an older sister, but it’ seems like Johnny hired her to keep her close and I think to remind himself of who he is.
Being his closest relative, she may have been the only person Johnny had left that knew him genuinely before the fame, cause Johnny even lost HIMSELF to AH's manipulation. Things likely would have been even worse without his sister's involvement.

I love how Johnnys defense team has started with his childhood and how his mother was abusive to him and he was submissive like his father. It makes sense why all These years later Johnny could fall Victim to the same type of abuses. No one has Ambers back because she burnt all her bridges. I'm just astounded that his sister could talk continuously while recollecting the childhood trauma they had. I, myself couldn't without having flashbacks and not being emotional about it. It's very cruel having to even tell the trauma (especially knowing it will publicized) you've had because of someone else's lies.
People deal with trauma differently... I had times when I laughed while talking about horrible childhood events, because I chose to distance myself from those things. And I bet that Johnny's sister had therapy as well. She's over 60 now, she has left those days behind her.
Some wounds do heal, we accept our childhood. She prepared for these questions, I am guessing she is more upset deep down that she has to talk about it than sad.

The only time Johnny smiled was when his sister mentioned his kid’s birthdays. I can see the anxiety and pain in his body language and demeanour. Amber’s face reminds me of my ex girlfriend, after a year and a half of being constantly criticized and belittled I’d try and talk to her about how I felt. The reaction I got was basically, “why are you annoying me with your negative emotions” followed by a diatribe about how I was being too sensitive. By the end, she’d have me convinced that I was the one in the wrong the whole time, and I’d end up apologizing to her. After months of desperately trying to please her, I left. I remember being so scared when she came home from work. I’d spend the whole day trying to make sure everything was perfect. I’d clean everything in the house. Wash, dry, fold and put away the laundry and just hope that she came home in a good mood.

After I got off them I volunteered at an addiction charity and the majority of addicts are using to self medicate away all the darkness in the world.

I read some of the UK trial transcripts, and when Johnny was shown some texts that he initially thought were from his sister's then he realised it wasn't her, he mentioned his sister is "someone who's never said a cross word". Which is quite a remarkable personality to have.

I think what’s different about her testimony compared to so many other testimonies is the complete lack of ego in her words and demeanor. She’s not on the stand to prove how smart she is, to be snarky, to be combative, or to even give the most pristine account of things. When Johnny Depp was filming the “The Rum Diary” in Puerto Rico, I was 13 y/o and obviously loved him (still do). I waited for him outside of the building he was filming in, but couldn’t get an interaction with him because they took him away in a golf car. I ran after him and when we got to a closed parking area away from the crowd, I screamed “JOHNNY” he turned around, looked at me and told the driver to stop the car, he got out walked over to me (I was so in shocked I couldn’t move), hugged me, calmed me down and signed my shirt. He didn’t have to do any of that, he was far and in a moving car. He made that little 13 y/o life. He has an amazing soul. I pray he gets the justice he deserves.

It's very clear Johnny is an exemplary human being. I'm sure I'm not the only one who will be a dedicated follower thanks to these trials, I didn't know him well but following this case, it's clear he does his best to maintain an outstanding character.
I look up to him and hope I will be able to treat ny family to such a beautiful life they deserve, and to be there for my mother and parents to help her transition into her next phase of their journey.
Even if he doesn't win, he has cleared his name with all of the people who care enough to pay attention. Not only that but he not only reversed the damage to his reputation, but showed the world his credibility and integrity. Definitely one of the bigger stars that I look up to.
Fighting creates an adrenaline rush, and just like Meth, it can be addicting. Stage Fright might have also fed it. Amber did not know how else to get another dose of that same strong adrenaline blend. Trying to argue with Johnny, who was trying his best to deny Amber her 'drug', was futile and frustrating.
Male adrenaline addicts usually do extreme sports or jobs like Test Pilots, and become admired for their bravado. Their wife lives a life of never knowing what day will be their husband's last.

If he grew up seeing his father hit his mother then there would be a key figure in his life as an impressionable child absorbing that as normal and would likely grow up to be similar or think it's not that bad to grow up and do that to a wife of his own. Having the opposite of that as a dad would have the opposite impression on him as he grew. In fact, his mom being the aggressive one toward his dad would be what he saw as normal which is why he may have put up with that in his own marriage.

Johnny's lawyer is the bomb. When he's on the sidelines you see him cracking jokes with him. And when he's up asking the questions he asks short, concise questions... when there are objections, he politely insists as to why his question is good, and whether the judge over-rules or sustains the objections he says thank you your honor. He even cracked a joke with the witness at 39 minutes or so. Did you see the big smile that came over her face? I'm sure it's very stressful being on the stand, and the burst of humor even under that tension I'm sure was very helpful to her, keeping her composure.

I clearly know why Johnny was so blessed, it’s because he never neglected his parents especially his mom despite how she treated him when he was a kid. He took care of her and made sure she is in good hands through her old days. And now he is gaining another blessing through the people who testify for him being a gentle soul, a good father to his kids, generous to friends and family. He will be vindicated in the end and the whole world would see who’s the true evil in this whole scenario. Good will always triumph over evil.

I'm just astounded that his sister could talk continuously while recollecting the childhood trauma they had. I, myself couldn't without having flashbacks and not being emotional about it. It's very cruel having to even tell the trauma (especially knowing it will publicized) you've had because of someone else's lies.
People deal with trauma differently... I had times when I laughed while talking about horrible childhood events, because I chose to distance myself from those things.
And I bet that Johnny's sister had therapy as well. She's over 60 now, she has left those days behind her.
Some wounds do heal, we accept our childhood. She prepared for these questions, I am guessing she is more upset deep down that she has to talk about it than sad.
@@ElaAusDemTal Yeah, I get that. I'm unable to remember almost everything that happened to me as a child because of the trauma so, I was really astounded that she could even recall those events. I do hope I could get to her level of mentality towards it.

Johnny’s sister seems like such a genuine and kind spirit. I’m glad they are still close and she clearly loves and supports him. He was obviously a great son to his mom and loved her regardless of her tough (and cruel from what was described) parenting.
I feel like he's afraid to even look at or possibly make eye contact with his sister or else he will completely break down in tears. You can almost feel the pain radiating off him & it breaks my heart. 🥺

The only time Johnny smiled was when his sister mentioned his kid’s birthdays. I can see the anxiety and pain in his body language and demeanour. Amber’s face reminds me of my ex girlfriend, after a year and a half of being constantly criticized and belittled I’d try and talk to her about how I felt. The reaction I got was basically, “why are you annoying me with your negative emotions” followed by a diatribe about how I was being too sensitive. By the end, she’d have me convinced that I was the one in the wrong the whole time, and I’d end up apologizing to her. After months of desperately trying to please her, I left. I remember being so scared when she came home from work. I’d spend the whole day trying to make sure everything was perfect. I’d clean everything in the house. Wash, dry, fold and put away the laundry and just hope that she came home in a good mood.

My heart is breaking listening to Christi! I grew up with a violent and mentally abusive parent. I don't think I can watch much more! What Christi and Johnny and his siblings went through is too close to home! God be with them and bless them and may His face shine upon them and be gracious to them! @@cringeproof100 yep. I was prescribed opiate painkillers for a chronic condition but I ended up taking them whenever I felt depressed to just suppress the mental pain. After I got off them I volunteered at an addiction charity and the majority of addicts are using to self medicate away all the darkness in the world.

Reading this 2 months later. I read some of the UK trial transcripts, and when Johnny was shown some texts that he initially thought were from his sister's then he realised it wasn't her, he mentioned his sister is "someone who's never said a cross word". Which is quite a remarkable personality to have.
