    Benchmark tests aren't gaming tests. How about showing games with framerates instead of benchmarks. Higher benchmarks don't always translate into higher framerates on games.

    You would have to perform the long test to see a temperature difference with a case or without, heat takes a bit more time than the benchmark to build up.
    You would also need to compare the moment at which the chip starts throttling. They're meant to throttle when they reach a certain temperature so of course, temperature is not the variable that will change a lot.

    Umm are you all but seeing. The pixel STILL HAD BETTER PERFORMANCE.... And it's a new chip wtf. I love his videos. LOVE THEM, but he is a bit of a Samsung teamer. But a big deal. I love Samsung. Right now I have the note20 ultra and s21 ultra, but I also love pixel and I'll call you out about your Bs. He told the truth, but his words made it seem like Samsung out performed Pixel when in fact the pixel out performed in the area a gamer will be looking at and geek the most. And the good thing about pixel is, Google will be able to send out Tweeks to tensor in the form of updates. Remember, this is a chip that was not really supposed to be in the same weight class as the sn888. Remember the red flag tweet that Qualcomm put up... They really should be embarrassed. Samsung on the other hand really doesn't have a dog in this fight, because the next exynos will likely be set up like Tensor, BUT WITH MORE POWERFUL parts and it will be beastly. Everybody should save this message as a screen shot then look back at it in 3-5 years Qualcomm is is about to take some hits in the mobile phone sector

Being the first soc with 2 X1 cores is cool but the 2 A76 cores is a facepalm as sometimes it's better to get a task dune faster than trying to get it dune efficiently!

    • @davidstjohn1
      @davidstjohn1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with you. Why didn't they put two a78 cores The price difference would be minimal. That did confuse me unless there would have been a huge heat issue, which maybe they tried it during the process of putting together this chip

      remember that A78 is more efficient than A77 ans A76. At same clock speed A78 should be atleast 30-40% more effecient but the reason they probably didnt add it could be due to the higher die area.

    Soooo basically the Pixel is a sprinter and the S21 Ultra is a long distance runner. Look they are both great phones but then it depends, as usual, on the user and the games the user plays and for how long they play. Some people play for hours....a real test would be to have two people playing the same game for an hour and see how that goes. It's not confusing at all and the phones need to get used to the specific person's activity.

      Not true. S21 Ultra and all other phones using a SD888 have a faster CPU (which translate into waiting .1 - a few seconds longer for a game or app to load) but the pixel has a Faster GPU (which translate into higher frame rates). I think most people want the higher refresh rate. Camera wise, I would say that the S21 Ultra wins but the main camera is better on the google Pixel 6. Front facing camera is WAY better on the S21 Ultra. But android experiance wins every time with the Pixel 6 (and pro), faster security updates, more OS updates... Samsung will not be able to compete.

      Most reviewers are showing higher frame rates with the pixel. (pixel uses 20 GPU cores and Snap Dragon 888 uses 14 cores)
