My mom asked me to come for dinner and I said I wanted to finish my aiming routine. She asked "why do you do that" I replied "so I can click heads". After that she simply said "why do you train for that? Just click on the head". After that I never missed a headshot in my life. Be like my mom.
i think a big part of my problem with wanting to aim train is I don't even know where to begin and even when I "try" to do things either in Kovaaks / Aimlabs... I still don't know what I need to focus on, what I should be doing, etc... outside of just playing random scenarios
I completely understand. It can be a lot. I have an 1hr+ Video of a beginners guide to aim trainers if you would like to watch that and hopefully it helps and gets you started!
Aim Training, in all honesty, is something that you need to learn before anything else. Make sure you either like aim training or you're dedicated to improving in your game first though. RiddBTW has a good series on aim training and asking questions and uploading vods to Voltaic or Shottys discord servers are helpful, with plenty of people who are willing to help out.
I was in your shoes once, I started following random TH-cam guides and pros daily routines but those didn’t really work for me until I cam across the voltaic group and their benchmarks. It really helped me grasp the level of my aim and what I should be focusing on. My advice is don’t be discouraged by low scores when you 1st start, work on your fundamentals and weaknesses while keeping in mind things like crosshair placements and micro adjustments.
Yoo, if I struggle with close range tracking/flicking (using shotguns), do you recommend a slower or faster sens? And how much slower/faster (10, 15, 20%)?
I would do both because there can be many causes for 1 issue in aim. As for how much to change it, Its person by person but a baseline is From 24 cm to 20 and from 70 cm to 80 and following that trend.
so i should make my sens faster for 2 days and make iit slolwer for the next 2 days and do it ovr and over again? dosent it also mess up ur muscle memory if u do this
This is just a starting guideline, feel free to change it based on your own progress. Also aim is more of a skill, not muscle memory. so instead of messing up your aim, practice like this will help your aim and it can be used to focus on specific issues you may have.
shotty ive been looking at other pro valorant player mouse grips and i wanted to ask you what do you think would be the best mouse grip for aim in valorant

Aim training is literally just that, eye training and arm training (and the other components for aim, elbow, wrist, fingers).
Agreed

@@Coach_Shotty Thank you, your the GOAT❤
is there a guide/aiming playlist for this type of training?
You can apply it to any playlist or training you normally do but I will be doing more in depth videos on it in the near future
@@Coach_Shotty thank you!
Hey the link didn't show in description
Sorry just fixed it!
Do you recommend with aim training with kovvaks to use sense randomizer
Yes absolutely! I actually made a video about that a few days ago

1 more question if you dont mind is a sense of .1 1600 dpi good for valorant or should i bump it higher to improve more
I think its a fine sens to play on/main and it was actually my old main but you should have practice on a much higher sens, closed to .25+
shotty is .1 1600 dpi a good sense to improve on for valorant or should i make it higher
