Welcome back; our days have not been the same: Sat here watching you: hope you are OK ❤❤❤❤, remember do what YOU want to do and we will be with you….niceeeeeeee
Hallelujah your back lol! We've missed you. Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year break. Happy 2023 travels, can't wait to see where you take us this year! 🏞️🚐🏞️🚐🏞️🚐🏞️
Yes Colin is back loved your first blog and how you are being true to yourself and doing what you have to do for you and your lovely family. Can't wait to watch next week. Rachael xx
Welcome back, thanks for sharing as I cannot for the life of me remember but I had passed on Low Wray, following your video it’s back on the list 👍 Here’s to a great 2023. All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Hey Colin, I think I need more of those outtakes. As always, great vlog and look forward to more content. As you mentioned it, I agree, stay safe, healthy and enjoy each day as it comes...carpe diem 👍
Brilliant to see you back and was nice to hear your doing videos that you will enjoy doing😊 we will be following your campsite reviews and might pop down from sunny Scotland if you do a meet. Take care 😎🏴🏴
Great that your back, the direction you want your channel to go is a great idea and I think you will get the support from your many followers that you need. Onwards and upwards🤟
You are such a lovely, genuine chap. I am glad you are making changes to focus on what is right for you - men (and women!) need someone out there to give them alternatives. I look forward to following you during 2023 - great job!
welcome back colin! my friday nights haven’t been the same without you. just make the videos you like making and we’ll all watch them for your catchphrases, positivity and mutley laugh. i don’t have a van, prefer to do most of my camping away from campsites where possible, but i still watch all of your vids. i guess that says enough about you. glad to have you back pal!
There was me thinking this Channel was only for VDubs...I have always had a soft spot for Landis / or better a Disco...despite settling for a VDub Swamper...
Hey, my late father-in-law always had a Landy on the drive to tinker with, which was separate to his daily. So, I would say, go for it. We have two vehicles, with my favourite being the VDub Swamper, of course...🤣
Awesome video great to see you back. Part two looks challenging - looking forward to seeing it and bringing back memories of when we walked the Langdales in torrential rain. Can't wait to see more site reviews. 😊
Good to see you Colin. Camped at Low Wray with my young daughter about 10 years ago. Nice site although, being the Lake District, it rained for 2 whole days. Even though we couldn't get our boat out we still had fun ! It really is a lovely spot.
Alrite dude, love the tube channel. Looking forward to meeting you look out for the raptor crafter at Camperjam. I know you’ll be there you can’t resist. Stay safe dude 🤙
Good video. Glad your getting back to camping. That’s what it’s all about. Like your solo trips make me realize it just not me that goes away myself with the dog. Wife says don’t you get bored 4 days your self I’m like no always got something to even if it’s just looking at the trees.
As others have mentioned Col, great to see you back and telling us of your adventures. The missus had a chuckle at your slip up on out takes. Keep em coming mate always enjoy what you produce. Take care and stay safe.
Your videos inspired my wife and I to get our VW camper! Looking forward to the ‘back to the basics’, and as a keen cyclist and photographer, can’t wait to follow your adventures this year!!
Great to see you back! Glad future videos will be what you want to film and not what you feel you need to film, love you’re vlogs. Look forward to more bloopers/outtakes too x
Good to see you back Col! 🙌🏼 Sounds like you're going to have a great 2023, hopefully our paths will cross at some point! That site looks awesome! Have fun!
Good to see you back 😊, do what you like first and do the video second, winning combination Colin, don’t stress about the video content, you’re engaging enough even if footage turns out crap, you can carry it off 👍😎, Dennis x
Nice to get you back on my tv.. If you’re going to be doing this camp ground list.. it would be decent if you covered if they had disabled toilets/shower facilities for us wheelchair users. Regards A
How do Colin and welcome back. You HAVE been missed. I started my youtube channel for my mental health just like you and for the same reasons. I guess when it gets to be "A Job" it takes the joy out of it-though we'd never know with your videos. The thing that always drew me to watching your channel was your positivity. That being said, your ethos going forward is the right direction. A fun informative channel full of of epic bimbles is the way to go. meetups, day meetups etc sound great. If I can make it to one or more I'd be chuffed to go to them. My aim in 2023 is to actually network with other youtube content providers. Already started with two channels I found that are literally on my doorstep. I'd also, with me being a fellow photographer, doing any photo walks I'm able to do that you set up( my disability allowing) loved your fun guide of the campsite and once again, so happy the Colster is back! Bessy regs-Kenny
Good for you mate. Would love to meet up for a cycle. That’s exactly why I got my t5.1. Put the bike in and disappear for a day or two and get some miles on the bike put in.
Good that you are back again. You mention that your go pro ( not a go pro) is one of your recording devices. Please provide more information. Thanks (nice) Phil
Great idea to concentrate on camp sites. I enjoy a few of the wild camping blogs but as I’m too old/scared/wimpy for it myself they are a bit limiting. Whereas it’s good to get a full review of sites and what’s available from the site (walks etc) without having to drive. Looking forward to part 2 - it’s been many years since I went to the Langdales and up to Stickle Tarn and Jack’s Rake.
Nice to have you back, loved the outtakes. So glad you’re keeping things real this year, so many you tubers are going down a different path and it doesn’t seem genuine. Great to seeing you do what you do best. Just wondering how you’re gonna keep the quiff dry in next weeks vlog😂👍
Happy new year to you and the family. Hope it was a good 1. Loving the videos. Quick question, do you take just 1 lens with your walk about camera or more? And if so what size? Thanks and keep up the good work
Hey buddy, happy new year to you too.. I usually take a few lenses, it all depends where I am heading and what I'm shooting. But the one used in this video was a 12-60 (effectively a 24-120 on the micro four thirds sensor) ;)
You sound different Colin. Love the new ideas though I think that’s a great mate. Definitely up for one of your smaller meets too. I think doing a similar thing with festivals would also be a good idea. It’s hard to find good honest reviews on the different ones throughout the year.
Welcome back, any chance you could say if campsites are dog friendly and what it’s like for walking them around those areas, lots of sheep etc as mine unfortunately loves to chase them!😮
This is more like it Col😀 I was one of your critics about becoming 'one big advert'. Hopefully more like this, I know it's not going to make you a millionaire, but keep this up. One tip though, get Branston involved more, as soon as he behaves of course 😃
Have you tried an electric blanket. I find it better than putting the diesel heater on overnight, much quieter and not too hot, unless it is really cold.
Yeah we tried one not so long back (it's in the camping cupboard outside haha) it was ok but another bulky item in the van that we rarely used! I might grab it for the next trip and see how it does
Hey Ryan, mine doesn't have it, all my other cars have had it before this and I've not missed it at all. The two days we had last summer that were unbearably hot was a struggle but it was 2 days 🤣🤣! We might find out that we need it once we travel abroad (something we have yet to do) but having chatted with EcoFlow in the last few weeks, they are developing a stand alone AC unit that might do the trick. One thing to think about is AC only works when the engine is running so great while you're travelling and/or if you're at a remote spot camped up, but I'm sure campsites wouldnt look favourably on those running their engines all day to cool the van down :) Hope this helps buddy and I'll keep everyone updated as to how not having ac is going in summer :) Have an ace weekend
Mate! It’s great to have you back, I can tell you’ve been through some difficult times, if you ever need to talk give me a shout, I’m only round the corner In Skipton. #bekind
Ace mate and should be great content, just had to scroll to the bottom of my subscription list to find you, you are now back at the top and worth being there, welcome back and do it for Yorkshire 😂👍👍👍👍🏔🍺
Great to see you out and about again . Enjoy x
Stayed on pitch 30 this summer! Great site - good to see it in the winter 😊
Welcome back; our days have not been the same: Sat here watching you: hope you are OK ❤❤❤❤, remember do what YOU want to do and we will be with you….niceeeeeeee

@@SwamperJez funnily enough, i’ve been sort of thinking of going the other way recently. i’d struggle to say goodbye to the landy though i think.
Hey, my late father-in-law always had a Landy on the drive to tinker with, which was separate to his daily. So, I would say, go for it. We have two vehicles, with my favourite being the VDub Swamper, of course...🤣

Happy 2023, hope we all have an epic & awesomeness year. 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Hi Colin the kettle you use in the van have you got a link for it.Great Visio’s look forward to seeing them every week.
Hiya, it's a Russel Hobbs 1kw travel kettle and it's ace amzn.to/3YoILdA
You sound different Colin. Love the new ideas though I think that’s a great mate. Definitely up for one of your smaller meets too. I think doing a similar thing with festivals would also be a good idea. It’s hard to find good honest reviews on the different ones throughout the year.

Good to see you back out of interest what was the cost of the campsite? Like your out takes
Hey buddy, the campsite was £34 for two nights with electric hook up ;)
This is my favourite campsite
Have you tried an electric blanket.
I find it better than putting the diesel heater on overnight, much quieter and not too hot, unless it is really cold.
Yeah we tried one not so long back (it's in the camping cupboard outside haha) it was ok but another bulky item in the van that we rarely used! I might grab it for the next trip and see how it does
Great video,👍
What make is your back pack?
Tia
Hey buddy, thank you it's a Lowepro Flipside 450 mate...
Hey Col, does your van have a/c and how essential would you say it is mate?
Hey Ryan, mine doesn't have it, all my other cars have had it before this and I've not missed it at all. The two days we had last summer that were unbearably hot was a struggle but it was 2 days 🤣🤣!

Good video, I'd check your navigation, Fairfield not Bow Fell as you can see Ambleside
Haha I knew I'd get something wrong, I always do when it comes to naming fells 😂😂 Bow fell is over there somewhere 🤣🤣
Watching the Purge on your own in the van. Noooooooo
😱
Luan 😂
Hahahaha I did watch some comedy videos afterwards as I felt pretty uneasy after watching it 🤣🤣
Have you watched Hunted - Aussie version, its quite good
No bud, but all add it to the list :)
I would love to do things like this but sadly sometimes life does not turn out how you dreamed it would be🥺
Keep the camper mod videos coming as well please......
A up our Col ❤hope ya good bud x
All good Hun, hope you are too ❤️
Enjoy your vlogs but calm down on the adverts.
Ace mate and should be great content, just had to scroll to the bottom of my subscription list to find you, you are now back at the top and worth being there, welcome back and do it for Yorkshire 😂👍👍👍👍🏔🍺
Hi why don’t you go to a festival called Dub Fest 🎉🎉🏕
I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of festivals, more middle of nowhere with a fire pit and a good walk kind of chap ;)
Glad to see you back! Thought you had done a runner with the Laptop cash 🫣🫣
Another brilliant video 👍👍 @bettyourcampervan 🚐🚐
Great to see you back.
