Berchtesgaden is a fantastic place - I've been there many times. That walk up to the Hintersee is beautiful - never gets old.

Coming to you from NE California. What a wonderful excursion you took me on. Berchtesgaden is my place of birth a few years ago - 1947. Moved to America in 53. Enjoy, so very much, taking these virtual tours with those who love to travel. Thank you for sharing.

I lived in Germany in the '70s and enjoyed the country, her beautiful people, as well as her vast history very much. While I hold many pleasant memories of the entire country, Bavaria is my most treasured. Thank you for a beautiful reminder backwards.

Listen!!. Exploring new countries is such a rewarding experience! For first-time travelers, I'd recommend considering destinations that offer a mix of cultural richness and natural beauty. Personally, I've been fortunate to travel to over 10 countries thanks to careful budgeting and smart investments.I wasnt financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 2 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future...

Alright, speaking in general terms, investing requires a good amount of knowledge. That's why it's essential to have a solid support system like a financial counselor, especially when picking out assets. I've been working with Regina Louise Collaro, who is an investment advisor at a registered wealth management company. I can't recommend her enough; my financial journey has been fantastic thanks to her. She's quite well-known for her services, and she helped me achieve financial stability through investments. Now, I benefit from her passive income strategies every month. So, I'd strongly suggest finding a reliable investment advisor for yourself..

Regina Louise Collaro is based in the United States and can work with anybody wherever they stay. If you would like more information on reaching her, you can conduct a search online.

personally, I'm blessed and realizing I'm not the only one working with Regina Louise Collaro. I will consider myself lucky. I've been able to feed and make a living through her advice and great work. For such a person as Regina, I owe her gratitude, support and endless prayers as it is not easy to gain access to such a competent and reliable adviser. Who isn't just wise but has all it takes to handle an investment and is good at what she does..

My dad was in the military stationed in Germany and we visited Berchtesgaden several times. My favorite place in Germany was Oberstdorf. We lived there with a German family for the first couple of months when we arrived in 1954.

Hello, you posted such an amazing video. Thank you so much for sharing. Your voice and so therapeutic and calm and makes the experience of watching your video of such a beautiful place purely majestic. I plan to visit Berchtesgaden late June/early July 2024. I plan on renting a car in Munich and taking a road trip through germany, austria and maybe a bit of the dolomites in Italy if we have time. Where did you purchase your bus card to catch the bus near lake Hintersee and the surrounding areas?

May 2016, took the trip up the Konigssee to the Cathedral. Had beer (several) from the brewery next to the church. Beautiful day. Took off my shoes and sox and sat under a tree on the lake with my feet in the water. Most beautiful setting I've ever seen. Lake is stunningly clear but darn cold. Water quality compared to where I live... Lake Chelan, WA. Uplake Chelan and the Konigssee are very similar.

I have to say thanks. I was inspired by this video to visit Berchtesgaden myself, as part of an interrail.
What an amazing place. Sadly, I only booked two full days. What was I thinking?
Konigsee gets a bit crowded, as do the buses (watching how people crowd on to buses in Germany is an experience Ill never forget as a queue-happy Brit) and the Eagles Nest, but that walk to Rothsbach waterfall found me some solitude.
There was so much more I wanted to see. I missed out on that canyon, but did manage that walk by the river. That red bridge was great. Did you see the little water powered wooden puppets?
Im already planning a whole week in Berchtesgaden in my head. If you hadnt made this video I wonder if Id have known to go there. Thanks.

My wife are going there for the scenery and the history. Wonderful video dear. More Americans must travel these roads. We’ve become so provincial and myopic these days. The bottom line is that people have sooo much in common that we fail to recognize our similarities and tend to focus on our differences.

I stayed in Salzburg and got the train both days. To be honest, I was only meant to visit the park once. I believe there are 2 hostels in the town which could be good to look in too. Here’s my blog posts on where I stayed throughout my trip: liveadventuretravel.com/best-hostels-in-europe-for-solo-travellers/ Hope you have a great time

@@Live.Adventure.TravelFreilassing just over the border from Salzburg is pretty good value for the few places for accommodation in the town and will be cheaper than Salzburg. This park is on my list of places to visit in a few weeks when I go away. Is that a pass for the busses that look to be run by DB and I will be on an Interrail ticket.

Its nice, but just one of the nice places in Germany. The unknown beauty is the coast, Rhein and Neckar valleys and Bodensee. They dont get skipped, they're not even on the radar of international tourists, most germans dont even know them. Its sad, though, these places are pretty different to the Germany that tourists have in their head. As beautiful as the Alps are, they are considered "typical Germany" and still full of tourists.

a pity such a beautiful place associated with such uglyness

    • @publicminx
      @publicminx ปีที่แล้ว +10

almost no one associate that place with uglyness. you project your own view on others. and you also missesd the point of learning from history if you confuse landscapes with ideologies or start to sort neutral things (e.g. buildings) moralic as good/bad. that Hitler/Nazis liked that setting makes the setting not bad. and that they liked it is also not bad. that experienced just the same as other ppl did already before and after up to this day. its in general wrong to believe that ppl who did bad things that now everything they thought, did or felt is bad. this is exactly NOT understanding history or why ppl did this or that. thats a mystification of things in black and white and associating wrong things which means one did not understand the point, ends up associating the wrong things and cannot avoid future mistakes. there are also other problems with such wrong associations. they devalue all the feelings from all ppl who lived already before and the ones later and creates a tunnel vision and dependency on 'one narrative' out of many.
