      Honestly, I've heard both ways. ETS being harder than Manhattan and Manhattan being harder than ETS. But the point to remember is that you have to practice questions of all difficulty levels because the GRE will ask a mixture of questions. So the best way forward is to complete all questions from both books. In addition, Manhattan also has a chapter dedicated to difficult questions, so you can check that out too.

    I have all those books but there are some math problems that are tough like those that have paragraphs. I usually take a long time with these because I get lost in the equations and what they're asking. As far as verbal, I'm not a fast reader. I do have the 500 vocab box set and trying to go through those on a daily basis. I'm nervous about this exam, I set to take the exam July 13th but I might change the date because of work and not getting enough sleep the day of the exam.

      Hi! I am curious to know how did you do in the exam? Was it harder or easier than what you expected?

    • @johnguillen68
      @johnguillen68 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Dana.38 Hello, it was nerve recking but it wasn't bad. I didn't do well on it because I over expected its difficulty. Meaning, the math wasn't hard. I didn't prepared myself enough to score high. First they hit you with the Issue Essay then the Argument Essay. After that it was math, verbal, math, verbal, math, then verbal. There was one 10 minute break in between the math and verbal.
      I know I wasted $205 by just taking it without really studying. I pretty much winged it because of work and not getting enough sleep. I'm embarrassed to mention my score but it was a crappy 274 and a 3 on the verbal, so I need some work on writing. I will retake it in November. I have been reviewing and taking Sachin's blueprint. My goal is to score over 300 next time. I'm going through lots of videos and even helping my nephew with his college algebra class.

      @@Dana.38 I was surprised to have the essays first. I wasn’t prepared for that and so I was reading it but I thought it was an example. Meanwhile the timer was going so then I figured it out and started to work on it. I’m hoping for way better score next time.
