I think my biggest barrier is being able to think under test conditions -- dehydrated while having to go to the bathroom. Got a 170q+164v on the ETS practice, quant dropped 6 points on the official exam. It's a shame that bladder size, typing speed, and tolerance to dehydration are among the criteria to enter grad school

Hey Dhruv, thanks for watching! Yeah tbh that is an issue. Like they also don't allow jackets in the testing room when I took it unless you were going to not take it off at any point or something like that. Back during covid, they didn't let you take of your mask at any time too. And yeah, since it's an online test too there are some further constraints. Dw though, you're still set up to succeed. Best of luck, Dhruv!

I plan to subscribe on Gregmat and follow the study materials (i.e, books and quizlets) as you suggested in this video. You've been so helpful with information in the past so I figured id ask, but Im noticing/hearing a lot of schools don't even require the GRE, and I bought a lot of text books but like no serious online or course prep but I was just wondering, do you think its necessary to even take if the schools Im interested in dont require it? like will they even still look at it if I apply?

Hi! Do you recommend doing the ETS practice problems after completing all the other books or as you go? Im not sure if the ETS books has sections or if its all just random problems. I know you started with Magoosh but did you finish that completely then on to the next book?

for the practice exams and vocab quizlet did you do those along the way or wait until you completed the bulk of book work? Do the books have like practice problems after a certain unit to check your knowledge or did you use the EST book for that? Im worried that I might finish studying early and will not have the info fresh in my mind. So sorry for all the questions but literally thank you so much!!

@@ckoduok7896 Hi Ck, thanks so much for watching! I recommend doing the ETS practice problems at the end because they are the most realistic questions. I think doing them more towards the end lets us calibrate better. I finished Magoosh completely because it's a shorter book. I did practice exams and Vocab quizlets along the way for sure. The books have practice problems. Hope that helps, lmk if you have more questions! Thanks again for watching :)

Like for qa and verbal we should start with magoosh and end with ets. So what is the in-between sequence of all other reources?

Hey Sakshi, hm,.. I would probably recommend starting with magoosh and ending with ets, and then I think it doesn't matter too much what you put in between. It's more just like what type of practice you'd like to get. Thanks for watching!

Hi Arsh, thanks for watching! I think that the only way to get better is to study consistently. There are things that I struggle with too, and the only way that I will get better at them is by spending hours on hours trying to learn them. I think that if doing an MS in the USA is important to you, and if you need to score well on the GRE to get there, then you have to just start doing problems slowly. And each time you get a question wrong, you have to follow the solution to understand it. It may take a long time, but the only way is to practice doing questions. Hope that helps!

Hey Mehroz, thanks for watching bro. I guess grammar is a pretty important part of the verbal section. I think if I were you, I would just practice over and over with these materials until you start to answer more and more correctly. The trick is that you will have to try really hard to understand why the correct answer is correct. So like every time you miss a question, you want to study the correct answer so that if a similar question comes up, you can get it right next time.
