New AC Unit NOT WORKING

Found contactor energized with compressor not running, turned unit off, washed down & degreased dirty condenser coil, restarted notice compressor suction not getting cold so put checked pressures and found compressor not pumping, switched L1 & L2 wires. Restarted and compressor started pumping, watched unit run, verified all ops all ok. 🤷‍♂️

Possible there was some electrical work done in the panel and the phase got switched.
Happened to me once. Regular acount . All of a sudden a commercial airhandler had a the blower running backwards ? Than realized they had renovated the room with the electrical panel in it.
Had to switch phase back and no issues .

I had to have a tech come out like 3 times for manufacturing/bad install issues on a new unit

comp was running in reverse before you switched two of the three leads . Switch any two leads of a 3 phase motor to reverse the rotation of a three phase motor. Basic electrical knowledge
