It's good to see affiliate marketing talked about more. It's one of the best online business models from a profit/effort perspective. Thanks for another awesome video 👍
People say stuff just to say stuff.. Why is it good if It's one of the best business models, do you like more competition..? And everyone already does talk about it..
ugh these videos are so scummy. Make millions and only 2 hours a day, because you know, 3 hours a day to make millions would be WAY too much work. We get it you have a course and by telling suckers if they get your course they too can make millions in hours. It is not just lame, its mean because some people believe you and get discouraged when they realize its all lies. There IS money to be made but buying these type of courses is a sure fire way to waste your time rather than actually building something. DONT BE A SHEEP!!
The most concise and practical step by step I've ever seen on how to start a business that almost anyone can do even without any special skills (technical or otherwise). Amazing video. Thank you.
I see people making jokes in comments about affiliate marketing and how everyone basically knows about it. But actually, Affiliate marketing can be done in many different ways, so having affiliate marketing with a blog would be a different thing than having an affiliate marketing business model with your social media platform like TikTok or by mainly using Facebook ads without having a website. So, it can be a completely different "game" based on how you go about it.
Interesting video! The approach Alex used worked for many years, but Google is shaking up things a lot these days. Ranking SEO content is getting much harder now that Google pushes cr*ppy sites like Reddit and other bigger players to the top of the SERPs. I wonder how Alex would approach this. I wonder if this has anything to do with the reason he's selling his business.
Step 1: Be incredibly passionate about a topic. Step 2: Forego money in the short-term by being authentic (like us). Step 3: Rinse and repeat. It's not the "get rich quick" scheme that most channels will make affiliate marketing sound. In our instance, we've been developing our opinions about software over a decade, building a successful integration business, before getting into the comparison space. We've probably invested 2,000+ hours into written content and TH-cam (not using ChatGPT) before we started seeing any traction. We aren't relying on this business to produce income though, that way we can stay authentic, opinionated, but authentic. Moral of the story, and to answer your question, get to a point where you don't need to rely on affiliate marketing to make money, then build an affiliate marketing business once you have the expertise and passion about a given subject. That's what we're doing, and while it's a slow grind, it's fulfilling staying authentic and helping people find cool software and help people at scale. Money will come from it eventually.

I would like to try affiliate marketing in the health and wellness niche but I'm worried about possible lawsuits since someone may try the product you recommend but are not happy with it and they end up suing you.
If the product isn’t ‘good’, is the brand that can be sued. You could be sued if the way in which you _promoted_ was deceitful (inconsistent with the product). So do a lot of research, and be honest (above all with yourself). Nothing better than a clean conscience, and this doesn’t really come easy if quick profit is the main goal in mind. Being hushed and lazy will only make you waste time and money faster. So think about what you love and why, study that deeply (!), dedicate yourself to promote it rightfully, and enjoy the process like it’s a game (so make sure you like the content of the ‘game’)

How many sites does one person need haha. But TBH I'd love to see $1MM per month in cash, in business accounts. It's what the industry calls, "a good problem" as opposed, to a bad one. Getting closer day by day bruh I feel it mad. Haha can't see the stacks yet tho. Feel jah? Yah mannNnNnN.
I’m surprised the video starts out with affiliate marketing referencing that nobody is talking about it just at first hits you like are you kidding? No one talks about affiliate marketing? 😂 literally every other video on YT for monetisation. Just only a few mention it in the title, so the video can be open. :)
This guy is shameless. His content is utterly soulless in every respect and he has no problems saying incorrect statements to drive up engagement. This guy is great at making videos. I’ll give him that. But he sure misses the mark in some things.

Yeah that was odd, totally threw me off lol
I assumed it was a joke.
a business model nobody is talking about? have you just landed from mars?
LOL no joke

Definitely a good time to sell. That organic traffic trend is looking brutal.
I think no one would offer a decent price for this anymore.

checked the traffic of this site, and have a big doubt about the story..
