@@descascalatinha 90125 is not considered to be the worst Yes album. Maybe one of the worst up to it but a few after it are generally considered worse(open your eyes and heaven and earth especially but even the one that followed this, big generator, is considered worse these days). As great as they were they had a few albums that are often considered stinkers. After the 80's their popularity started to fall dramatically. Typically they were considered progressive rock and getting into that stuff can be like stepping into an alternate musical universe.
So there’s so much going on with this song it’s hard to even begin: the opening riff, the synth noises like at 0:49 are fantastic, the second verse with a warm synth at 1:23 following a brilliant little dither between ‘hurt so before’ and ‘watch it now’. The cool gunshot noise at 1:29 (followed by another 0:49 style synth). The crazy breakdown at 2:25, then the middle guitar solo, which is good but the part that follows at 3:04 combined with either a synths or a bass, which descends down the scales is goosebump inducing. Don’t forget the superb way the drums kick back in at 3:11. These wonderful additions, including it’s surreal music video, which gets one third in before it restarts, make this a surprisingly powerful song.

Move yourself, you always live your life
Never thinking of the future
Prove yourself
You are the move you make
Take your chances win or loser
See yourself, you are the steps you take
You and you and that's the only way
Shake, shake yourself
You are every move you make
So the story goes
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
(Much better than a)
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Say, you don't want to chance it
You've been hassled before
Watch it now, eagle in the sky
How he dancin' one and only
You, lose yourself , no not for pity's sake
There's no real reason to be lonely
Be yourself, give your free will a chance
You've got to work to succeed
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
(Much better than a)
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
After my own indecision, they confused me so
(Owner of a lonely heart)
My love said never question your will at all
In the end you've got to go, look before you leap
(Owner of a lonely heart)
And don't you hesitate at all, no no
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
(Much better than a)
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
(Much better than a)
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Sooner or later each conclusion
Will decide the lonely heart
(Owner of a lonely heart)
It will excite it will delight
It will give a better start
(Owner of a lonely heart)
Don't deceive your free will at all
Don't deceive your free will at all
(Owner of a lonely heart)
Don't deceive your free will at all
Just receive it, just receive it

@@corneilmadison9436 I always thought he was singing "owed a lot of movie hurt."
That mid transition is too good. I love this damn song.
Hi I recommend checking out a song called 'Looking Into The Mirror' By Robert Nix
Yes,I do,still do,and I'm 50 this year, still remember it being played on channel 2 before the ABC news
The guitar solo is perfectly placed in this amazing song
This song should be a theme for a badass entrance for a badass character.
If you watch Jojo the opening riff that plays when Joseph fights Satanna is this songs opening riff.
@@thatdude2508 Thanks, I finally understood why this is a jojo reference, although having watched the whole anime.
Doom guy's song
Riki-Oh...
It gets worse for him all the time =/
Legit all I could imagine listening to this
3:04 That small solo right there gets me every time.
I so get that
This song cannot ever be disrespected. Timeless classic.
This song MUST be the Steel Ball Run ending
I don't mind
Id rather have Close to the Edge personally
lidgBlack a horse with no name!!
Actually that'd be kinda perfect, considering it would be the end of the original universe by the end of Steel Ball Run.
@@crimsonwizahd2358 At least fucking say it when you are making a fucking huge spoiler. Fuck. You totally ruined years of waiting and enjoying for me. Thank you.
That guitar solo is awesome
That clean strat break reminds me of being a kid listening to this over the radio in the 1980s chills.
Love this song & have since it came out in '83. I was only a young teenager but it's still a gem in my opinion. Love the clean guitar sound after the bridge.
I was driving home from a 8pm - 8am night shift and this song started playing in my car and my mood was instantly lifted
80’s Childhood Vibes here For Real!!! ❤️💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is me. I am an owner of a lonely heart.
Yes and Asia and Rush and others like them just take me to another plane that I cannot explain. And to their everlasting credit. This song is brilliant in every way I can think of.
This is a certified Banger, rhythmically in tune
I was born in 1980. I was left alone. I remember watching this video a lot. 40 yrs later I’m the loneliest person on the planet. TH-cam is my friend. Listening to lyrics that I listened to as a kid but now hearing all this meaning caused me to look for this song. Wow! The whole production. 👌🏽 I’ve been deeply alone since I was born. Had to move away from people to escape the depths of loneliness. Being alone saves me from feeling lonely. Really feel this song 🤘🏽
Hope you find something or someone that makes you happy :)
1:20 -Watch it now, eagle in the sky
How he dancin' one and only
You, lose yourself , no not for pity's sake
There's no real reason to be lonely
Be yourself, give your free will a chance
You've got to work to succeed - GOTTA BE MY FAVORITE VERSE/PART OF THE SONG.
Those were the best days, to be there alive as a teenager in the 1980s was very special and the music is unrivaled, it was the evolution of the analog masters of the 60s and 70s reaching its peak. I don't know what happened in the 1990s with the introduction of hip-hop, reggae, and rap everything went into a nosedive.
This is Flash FM from GTA Vice City ...
This is "Yes - Owner of a Lonely Heart". Maybe it was used in GTA Vice City.
Pero que pendejo jajajajajaja :v
Best Radio Station I Hope GTA6 has all the 80s songs on a radio station
Vice City radio has so much vibe 80s :D still fire keep it real :) :D
@Chemistry8254 Some people.
I accidentally ran 5 miles listening to this.
great music will always sound great, no matter its age.
period.
Hit for Yes! Yessss
Just what I needed to hear today... and forever after
See yourself-be yourself: PROVE YOURSELF- LIKE AN EAGLE IN THE SKY!!!
Just heard it in the cab to home. Sometimes i forget great music like this
One of my favorite 80s songs even though im from the 90s. I wish i couldve experienced the 80s at its finest.
Pure classic 😊
Such a cool track , never tire of it ❤
Lyrics
[Intro]
Move yourself
You always live your life
Never thinking of the future
Prove yourself
You are the move you make
Take your chances,
Win or loser
See yourself
You are the steps you take
You and you,
And that's the only way
Shake, shake yourself
You're every move you make
So the story goes
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
(Much better than a)
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Say - you don't want to chance it
You've been hurt so before
Watch it now
The eagle in the sky
How he dancing one and only
You, lose yourself
No not for pity's sake
There's no real reason to be lonely
Be yourself
Give your free will a chance
You've got to want to succeed
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
(Much better than a)
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
After my own indecision
They confused me so
Owner of a lonely heart
My love said never
Question your will at all
In the end you've got to go
Look before you leap
Owner of a lonely heart
And don't you hesitate at all - no no
Yow!
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah,
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!
{Instrumental}
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
(Much better than a)
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
(Much better than a)
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Sooner or later each conclusion
Will decide the lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
It will excite, it will delight
It will give a better start
Owner of a lonely heart
Don't deceive your free will at all
Don't deceive your free will at all
Owner of a lonely heart
Don't deceive your free will at all
Just receive it
Just receive it
(Owner of a lonely heart)
Imagine not knowing the lyrics in your head already
Danke einfach nur Supi 😊❤❤❤Michael 😊
Kickass recording. Great engineering!
This is now the jojolands song, the fanmade ending was great!
It would fit really well in the real anime, would make sense also as the first part had roundabout by yes as the ending. So having another song by yes for the ending of the final part of JoJo's would be cool

I have been loving the sound here for decades already?
Somebody around here is getting old!
Own a lonely heart...then enter time...and the years melt into decades...And the stone will set you free....................
