I also live in east asia and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's english said, "See ya!" 😂 thats what happens over the years of diluting our language so that non-natives can understand.
Head to the drunken monkey bar and restaurant. My friend Steph and his wife Dung own it. Great food and a good atmosphere. On the coast road north of Duong Dong
Vietnam sidewalks are for parking and the edge of roads where people walk also used by riders to ride against direction. At pedestrian crossing, riders will stop right in them, blocking your path, to read their text messages. Rickshaws and street vendors often do not want to give back your change. Smokey, dusty, noisy, phone theft is definitely rampant, especially iphone.
Definitely noticed the helmet difference in Vietnam. Everyone wearing them including small children. Granted some of their helmets are more like hard shell baseball caps and most are quite decorative and fun looking but they all wear something.
Haven’t been there and not high on my list. Been to Danang and Hanoi. I’ve seen enough of the mainland there unless I do a countryside trip for nature not cities
Thailand . I really don’t like Vietnam as much just this island. I could definitely spent a solid month here. I really like Thai people a lot. Very friendly
Also way more noise pollution in Vietnam. They love to honk the horn when they drive. Thailand is way better
Not as bad on the island but drive me nuts on the mainland.
Interesting perspective, but after I married a Thai woman, that up to you shit ended! 😂
😂
You don't see four people on a bike without helmets, instead you see 7 people with helmets and a fridge on a motorbike 😅
lol. Or a book shelf
Thai Lady say," Greenee, I keep my pookie on ice, you come back soon, NA NA??!!
Of course

Thank you
No way the traffic is just as bad in vietnam
Don't think you've figured out anything
Traffic is terrible. I said the speed. I drive in both countries. I’m sure you have too?? Danang, Hanoi here Bangkok. I’m sure I have no clue 😂
Sabai Sabai.....i ❤ Thailand only.....

I found this very true in Hanoi. This island different. Really my only Vietnam go to. People much nicer here too. Love it
Imagine that. 2 completely separate countries on the same continent have different cultures. 🇨🇦🇺🇸 🤦♂️

No they don't tho. Kids especially don't. Parents believe it stops their brains from growing so most kids don't wear them.
Yea. Really I don’t think these helmets will help much. Lucky speed slow here
Good ideas
In Ho Chi Minh it was looking like Bangkok with all the scooters zipping around in and out of cars

Nice condo..Airbnb?
No. Through a hotel there. Roma
Why do u live there?
Best ladies in Thailand. 🇹🇭
😂😂 clearly hasn't been to Hanoi
lol. Yes. I have. Well Phu Quoc vs Phuket anyway. Still more helmets worn and slower speeds
@@GreenyTravels phuc quoc yes (actually here now, and noticed they drive much slower). Hanoi definitely not
Which Country u like better 😂mm?
