John you should look and see if forced inductions interchiller has an air to water transfer system that use's the AC system to cool the intake temps. Check them out!!!!!!
Your welds are looking pretty good for "non fabricator". Haven't you watched Holdener on these MaxSpeed turbos.....better run a wastegate. Of course the cheap off shore intercoolers are also great turbo "filters" for the just in case moment it lets go.
John I just done chevy love I drop driver side down at the back came around bottom like factory crossover came up buy starter out to turbo then passenger side the way you have it
Ran one of these gt45s for a little bit. With all the duty cycle it would only spike 18psi and dropped of to 14psi by redline. Trap speed put it around 6-650whp.
Shop Shenanigans instead of Shop Truck just because we all know that it will see quite a few street pulls and quite a few redlines among other things and if he's going to keep it manual transmission he needs to go ahead and put a Tremec 6speed like their newest TKO 6060 with an upgraded flywheel and atleast a McLeod upgraded single disc or their twin disc but anymore than that for street driving would be overkill especially if he wants to keep it a "Budget" build but we all know his version of a budget build is alot different than alot of other people's budget build because my version of a budget build would be an engine from the junk yard and if I'm feeling good about it I might spring for every performance part of the shelves of my local parts store to give it a little more horsepower and if I'm feeling really good I might grab a case of the good oil and a good oil filter and then stop at the nearest gas station and fill it up with 93 and if I have a flex fuel sensor I might fill it up with E85 for just a little more horsepower and that to me is your average shade tree, backyard mechanic budget build and no I'm not talking about taking it to the drag strip hoping to set records or anything I'm talking budget build now if it was a race car or something like that then I might just go to Summit or Jeg's website and order everything I need 😉 😆 kidding now race car's are different and they have different meanings for different people and their budget it all depends on what type of drag racing you want to do and how fast you want to go and what you're willing to spend and how much you have to spend out of your piggy bank because going fast can get real expensive really fast

Bro not talking shit but if u only run 1 waist gate on one side leaving the other feeding full pressure all the time then why run both sides to it? Would the second side make a difference in low power range?
If eventually you end up having to change out the turbo I think you should put a @BoostedBoiz turbo on the Colorado shop truck because from what I have seen they not only hold up pretty good but you can also make pretty decent horsepower with them and you should put a Black Sheep Industries wastegate and if they have a blow off valve put one of theirs on it too and use all of your other peoples parts so you can not only support the people that support you your also supporting other TH-camr's as well and I think you should try out a Black Sheep Industries wastegate and BOV on the Black Sheep that or Turbo Smart's new straight gate I've heard some good things about them but not so much of the first electronic wastegate they came out with I've seen a few of them do whatever it wanted to do and basically get stuck wide open and sent 80psi of boost through a stock block 4cyl and split the block completely in half when it was only supposed to be set on 40psi so it sent double the amount of boost through the engine
