For an ls sure. A 5.4 Ford Gt, and Gt500 oem lifters, will make 3kwhp no problem.

@imgenoh5296 Nope. Just look at the Ford gt that did 310 in a mile, or look at the 4.6 4v that ran 5.88 in the 1/4, and holds the stock block record. Both run the Ford Gt oem lifters.

Those HD clamp style couplers do that on purpose. You don't want it to be ridgid and want some movement otherwise other shit will start cracking. Idk about this brand but with Vibrant HD clamps, as long as it's installed properly and the o-rings on it are sealing properly, you can push them hard. Bare full on drag and TA cars got them

Yo, is that coupler on the pressure side sliding back-and-forth like an inch and a half 2 inches that’s a different kind of clamp. I’ve never seen one of those, but I’m kind of old so it’s probably something new but that was odd. I don’t know if you noticed that.

There’s a 2015 gmc s HD 2500 I swear has balls I believe it’s a v8 5.3 the thing nuts stock pulls and moves past most pickups whiling towing 6k I was very impressed

12:30, that quarter tank gas issue means your fuel pump is weak.
Replace your fuel filter, check your pump pressure.

Run a compression test and look at the current valvetrain. Then after if everything checks, boost it! More cooling, the better.
