Hi I am making recovery USB but I cm confused. Right now My windows is installed in GPT style hardisk. Whether my pen drive should be in MPR or in GPT.

Sir mera home pc bohot acche se chalta hai kyonki mene usme vo sabh settings apply and usefull utility tool and software install kare hai jo appne recommend kare hai but on the other hand mere friend ka PC bohot boora perform karta hai dono ki configuration same hai me chahta hoon ki same to same apne pc ki image apne friend ke pc par install kardoo aur apne friend ke pc ko bhi use state me le aur jis state me Mera pc hai how can I do that please reply.

Sir recovery drive aur system image recovery aur bootable pendrive (rufus method) mein kya farak reh gaya agar tino mein windows backup hota hai to. Please bata sakte hai short mein yaha. I'm confused konsa backup choose karu. 🙏🙏

Recovery drive is useful when you need to troubleshoot any issue or do a fresh windows installation (without any data/app).
Jabki.. System Image recovery mein pura OS + installed application with data ka backup banta hai which can be restored later when needed.
Aur bootable pendrive is simply a method to enable pendrive to run just before windows starts. Jo ki Windows ya koi other OS installation ya bootable anti-virus k lea bhi banaya ja sakta hai, either manually (using commands) or using tools like rufus.
Infact in both the methods mentioned above, windows also creates/sets the pendrive/hard drive as bootable automatically. Tabhi to wo run kara sakte for recovery or sys image later when required.

@@Vicky-il5yv So it means, in recovery drive, if we do fresh windows installation in case windows corrupt.... then all of my existing data in SSD or HDD will also get deleted as if i buy new laptop? I understand system image now. But i still fail to understand what is bootable pendrive ?
@@akanshagaikwad9867 Yes, recovery drive can also be used to perform a fresh Windows installation. But this will only delete/reset all data in C drive, not other drives of HDD/SDD.
Bootable pendrive:
Think like that- if you connect a normal pendrive to your laptop (for eg.), then it will be only accessable when your Windows turns on.
But when you create a bootable pendrive you configure it to run even before Windows starts or say to boot/start your system using pendrive, not your internal drive where your OS is installed.
So what you can run?
This includes (not limited to) recovery drive, anti-virus and programs which are made to run in bootable mode. Even you can use a bootable pendrive to run another OS like Linux (without impacting your existing Windows).
So by that you are removing the dependency of internal HDD/SDD where your Windows OS is installed.
That's why we use a bootable pen drive to troubleshoot Windows, even it is fully corrupted and not turning on.
