Hello, any pointers on how I can get Africa Spirituality information on Kenyan indigenous tribes? I am a Kamba And I want to get more understanding. I am currently concluding my personal studies on Western Mystical doctrines, which seems to have a huge level of similarity to African beliefs especially on cosmology and the concept of God

To iMboni we thank you for sharing such a crucial information really when one is called is called, surely Africa here is our opportunity to be restored back to our true authentic african indigenous spirituality.

It is ashaming when an African defends religion, yet they heard that s book is a persons ideology about life, depending on the perspective s/he focus on. For example the psychologists petspectives is more inclined to your thinkinking/ mind and prescribed how people behave or think. Example Pavlov did hos experiment using dogs and concludes his theory of human behaviour is similar to dogs.

Why do we constantly contextulize Christianity in a colonial format when we compare it to African spirituality? And then we romaticise African spirituality as a pure practice that operated beyond power and political dynamics! Africans have ALWAYS manipulated African spiritual practice for political gain, we have so many examples in our history, MFECANE being a more recent one. And one of the main reasons why Christianity became so popular in Africa is because African KIngs and Queens embraced it as a political move to gain European allies against their rivals, the same with Islam. Axum, the Kongo Empire, Monomatapa Empire, all embraced christianity to gain access to military resources from Europeans, even after being warned by both African Spiritual leaders and African indegineous christians. We should not ramanticize our Spirituality and make it seem that it was pure and beyound human manipulation. Let us be honest, we are not lost because of a lack of African Spirituality, even when it was ther in pre-colonial times, our leaders cared more about political expansion. HUman beings will always find a way to fulfill their selfish ambitions.

People will always use something good for their selfish ambitions but if Christianity was of a good course why was it forced so much to Africans to a point that if they don't accept it they killed them??

Alkebulan (present Africa) was believed to be renamed by the romans and greeks (the same folks who took books out of the bible) … the British is responsible for middle east term upon the man-made making of the Suez Canal in an attempt to separate that area from Africa …Alkebulan meaning Mother of Mankind and Garden of Eden … Those responsible for hiding these facts went through great lengths to prevent truths from surfacing. Truths about who we are … Not only was our identity stolen they tried to erase our history rewriting theirs… Israel is in Africa rather one wants to believe it or not. Racism was created to divide and support hasatans agenda . We're hated by almost everyone but loved by the one that matters the Most 💜 .

The guest keeps mixing up event time lines, that takes away his credibility. The composition of the Bible in the council and the separation of Africa happened in two different epochs. Ishmael and Isaac were the sons of Abraham... Please sir, get the facts right and then your content is solid.

He goes on to say the Abrahamic religion of Islam and Judaism came from his two sons Isaka and Isaac and yet its the same name in different languages, some of the inconsistences I picked up. but yet he claims to speak facts on 4:59 minutes. If you are a christian reseacher some of the issues he is raising are already addressed, even though we may have different version of the bible each with its strength and weaknesses as with any other translation from one language to the other but it does not change the massage that is contained. Especially the old testament is translated from a single source which are the Masoretic texts thus preserving its authenticity and eliminating any confusions
But as for us we come from an oral tradition were knowledge was passed down verbally which is highly susceptible to corruption and change as passed down over the years. There is no other people like the Jews here on earth who have preserved their history so much so that Historians use their history to number the years, yet he has the boldness to say the bible is not the word of God. As one of the comments said, his ideas may exist in a vacuum but not in a debate.
