i was only 18 when i first listened to him live in İstanbul and i wasn't even that into blues sounds but i was amazed, shocked. than he did what he did and we only have his records... and his son who tries to continue his father's legacy. he has a difficult way ahead after his father's legacy but he's very good, too actually.

The songs he writes are great and they have very different rhythms. It matches different chords you've never heard before to the music. He is a very special musician and has a strong musical spirit. Unfortunately, he committed suicide at the age of 31 and passed away. I would love for him to be alive and it would be a unique pleasure to listen to him live, but of course that is not possible. Yavuz Çetin's suicide creates a deep sadness in my heart. I want it to be known to the world. I hope more people listen. I want everyone to feel his music, his solos. If I can reach my goals, I will introduce Yavuz Çetin's excellence to the world.

The man who passed away 2004 name is Kerim Capli ( aka Kim Capli). He was a Turkish legendary drummer, he was a keyboardist, he was a guitarist he was sucha a nice vocal. Briefly he was super multitalent person. As a drummer he did really something with Yavuz Cetin in Blue Blues Band. I think this whole album is an ode to suicide start to finish. With his level of talent, Yavuz Çetin could easily deliver something very experimental, but instead, he opted going for this very high quality, yet easily digestible record. He finished recording it, named it Satılık (literally "for sale"), as if to spit it onto the face of the society he so abhorred, and without caring for seeing it released, jumped off the bridge. Many think the lyrics of this particular song deal with getting high on drugs and stuff, but I think it is a series of barely concealed referrals to jumping off the bridge.

2001 yilinda lisedeyken harcligimdan biriktirip aldigim ilk kasetti. Yavuz Cetin ölmedi bir yerlerde yasiyor...
