You can just enter the side gate (someone needs to let you in), then use a swiftness pot to catch magistrate and tag him before he runs away. You can also just pre-target a back mob before you open the gate and (if you have 3/3 PoJ) run toward the pre-tagged mob and exorcism it before Magistrate despawns. This will aggro him and you can kill him for the key. I've done this more than 50 times now to get keys for boosties.

You have to take the main entrance, if you use the side gate it's closed and he'll run away if you have someone open it for you- check out my video on getting the key

@@allcapsone7809 the gate at the reset spot is closed i cant enter elders square (this gate is not goin to open with key).. do i have to kill last first? ur instruction is unclear.. for those who came here LF answers u have to kill last boss first than gate to the key boss opens..
