I am a survivor of DV and this is the first time I've seen a man tell other men to get up and take responsibility. Thank you so much to Justin for his healthy male perspective, we need this! As far as the other stuff, the leading lady could use some publicity training, but I try not to let her hair products and florals obsession get in the way of the actual real message. She really embarrassed herself.
Justin did an amazing job at bringing awareness to domestic violence abuse. It's a very real and important issue !! Not a romantic movie but real life drama!!
Although I have not seen the film, but I have read the book. This was his project and he bought the rights, and thought about Blake as a female lead and producer to make sure it was seen from a females perspective. And now, he is walking away from the sequel. Because of Blake's power and situation as an A lister. That just makes me sad.
@@npats550 me too.. I bet the movie would've actually gotten really good and unique if he could work how he wanted to. So sad that she used her power to turn it into a Romcom and promote her clothes. But I am glad that people know he got overshadowed by this self centered, arrogant woman.
Justin is the only one who gave JUSTICE to this movie for a DV survivor… i really hope this movie getting remade with much better Lily Bloom, Blake is tone deaf she did not represent us in any way, im so disappointed 😢
Its a bit hypocritical for her now to promote and talk about the character's fashion and style considering how offended she was in an interview way back 2016 where she was asked about the costume design of the movie they were promoting that time. . . . . Im very disappointed.
She talks here about the importance of fashion to storytelling but tried to humiliate the Norwegian interviewer when she asked her about fashion in her previous interview.
@@starwood213 I saw that too, she berated the other woman who asked her about fashion but now it's important in storytelling? Come onnnnnnnn Blake Lively needs to do better than this.
Exactly. Hypocrite much. Especially as the interviewer, was being nice (to someone who was 8months pregnant), and unfortunately was infertile. Supposedly Blake knew this but I don't know if that is strictly true. That was just the last straw for me, as they pretty much ignored the interviewer after that.
Everyone should still watch the movie whether or not the issue with Blake or PR whatever. The moral of the movie and the story is needed to be shared to bring light to DV, abuse, and to break the cycle of this pain. And Justin's directing was good and gave the book justice.
I feel sorry for this actor who is the director of the film and holds the rights to adapt the book to the cinema. He shows the reality of the film and speaks out against domestic violence very accurately. Very disrespectful for this actress who wanted to take over his film. He talks about domestic violence, she's more about selling the film like Barbie and selling the beverage products and hair products along with the film's premiere. And the book writer selling nail polish and coloring books.
I'm not convinced that Colleen Hoover really understands much about DV. Maybe that's colored by her experience as a child and her love for her dad, but the portrayal of DV in her novel isn't all that realistic. There's not much in the way of gaslighting or coersive control. The novel has the abuser largely accepting the break-up rather than becoming more angry. These aren't typical patterns in DV.
It's all about money for her and I bet she didn't want to make Blake mad by standing up to her because she thought the movie will sell better if this (average) actress will be in it to promote it.
As a domestic violence survivor, I find this entire situation profoundly disrespectful. What could have sparked a national conversation about intimate partner violence has been reduced to a money-making scheme for Blake Lively. Shame on you, Blake, Ryan Reynolds, Colleen Hoover, and every advisor who approved these stunts and tasteless skits associated with this. Are you all really that out of touch? But then again, what can we expect from plantation-loving mean girls? I sincerely hope nothing negative comes out about Justin Baldoni, as he seems to be the only redeeming factor in this sham. I am deeply disappointed in the female actors in this movie, especially you, Jenny - where is all your feminism, now?
Tone deaf …. Egomaniacal, narcissists who want to steal the profits, production and limelight out from under Justin - obvi ! he comes across as more genuine and intelligent and better looking imho. Kudos to Justin - he just gained another fan ❤
So she has no problem at all talking about the wardrobe in this interview, but she bullied a reporter who asked about how she felt about the 1930's wardrobe of a past movie she was a part of. Makes no sense. I cannot understand why she was so mean to that reporter. I hope she apologizes.
Mean Girl made it about herself vs giving the platform to the real DV survivors, the ones that would have a massive voice, unfortunately she’s like JLO and just wants to look pretty and pose
“To be fashion design and costume is story telling” - prior interview when Lively was asked about the costumes “You would ask the men that!” On which she proceeds for close to ten minutes only making eye contact to her co star and passive aggressively mocking the “tank tops” and such her male costars wore
The news: “wow! acting skills amazing. Everything felt so natural and believable.” *proceeds to play the most mediocre and unremarkable movie clips w basic level acting skills
Justin seems intelligent, mature and down to earth. I feel sorry he had to work with such a witch and what she turned this movie into. So glad about that she gets such a big backlash now. I won't ever watch a movie starring her again.
I have always seen through Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. They have never seemed genuine or focusing outwards but instead inwards on themselves. Just the way she has interviewed about it Ends with Us is bizarre.
For anyone ne triggered by domestic violence even watching it play on the screen during this interview is triggering. I personally don't know how people can watch violent scenes/movies, especially if they been victims of this kind of abuse. The PR around this film shows just how far we have to go in ending the cycle.
I love how they are trying so hard to make these men seem feminine with their outfits for these interviews. This is a super feminine jacket. I don’t normally comment on actors wardrobes but this seems planned like part of an agenda, staged. And the ugly cry comment they are all saying the men cried a lot. I saw the movie yesterday it felt super creepy and more of a suspense or thriller than a movie to cry about. Horror movie more like… I have been through this in my life and the movie didn’t cause me to cry but I was terrified. Creepiest thing. It was creepy.
He is so professional but there are parts of the movie that are trash especially the end was BS not realistic of a calm ending murder suicide is real and children pay the price they loss their peace and innocence get to know the people you make a family with have your family involved to stay connected to be your support system keep connections stay in your life don't let anyone isolate you from your friends and family and your own personal growth and your children all need you to be healthy and who you are
I think Justin is being mature about it. He's still following Blake on social media. He talks about Blake and her talent during his interviews. She's the one not mentioning him. She hasn't said his name once since promo began.

The title of this video is clickbait. The title makes it seem like you have both co-stars sitting in the same interview. For shame.

Justin is a gem. Too bad Blake is dodging questions about the subject matter and making this moment all about herself.
Justin understand the assignment
Yes, sadly nobody else
Justin is a class act! Always speaking kindly about his co-star. Blake, not so much!
Justin ❤❤❤
He has earned my respect. Treating this subject with a heavy heart and seriousness it needs. The mean woman on the other hand just don’t get it.
Blake’s true colours have been shown. She’s proven herself to be mean, selfish and petty.
i think even her hubby is sick of her. He looks genuinely annoyed with her on the red carpet for this mocie
Justin is the only one who gave JUSTICE to this movie for a DV survivor… i really hope this movie getting remade with much better Lily Bloom, Blake is tone deaf she did not represent us in any way, im so disappointed 😢
Leighton Meester could play her better.
Did Blake only recently learn the word “multitudes”? She is using it in every interview about this movie😢
Hahaha that’s too funny
Justin is an absolute class act.
Its a bit hypocritical for her now to promote and talk about the character's fashion and style considering how offended she was in an interview way back 2016 where she was asked about the costume design of the movie they were promoting that time. . . . .
Im very disappointed.
10:19 Blake Lively: “to me fashion and costume design are story telling. “ sounds a little ironic now. 😢
My thoughts exactly....
same here
It’s only sexist when Blake decides it is, apparently. She’s delusional.
I won't watch the movie after seeing Blake Lively's true colours, she really is a mean girl.
Support this one just not the second one she’s directing
She talks here about the importance of fashion to storytelling but tried to humiliate the Norwegian interviewer when she asked her about fashion in her previous interview.

Turns out Blake was an abuser who brushed things off under the bus, they way she talk about Lily and the movie is so disrespectful….

so Blake still hasn't talked about DV
Justin Baldoni is authentic and genuine, you can feel his true passion and heart in this project ❤️
Do they discuss it together or are they filmed separately?
Colleen Hoover is narrating her real life experience with (witnessing) DV and she still sides with BL's incorrect promotion for the movie??
It's mind boggling isn't it?
Unfortunately, money speaks more to people more than an actual purpose
I'm not convinced that Colleen Hoover really understands much about DV. Seconded. Also a DV survivor here.
Tone deaf …. Egomaniacal, narcissists who want to steal the profits, production and limelight out from under Justin - obvi ! he comes across as more genuine and intelligent and better looking imho. Kudos to Justin - he just gained another fan ❤
Justin was a perfect person for this. Blake.... not so much.
Justin is classy ❤
I thought even talking about costume design was something that offended her 🙄
So she has no problem at all talking about the wardrobe in this interview, but she bullied a reporter who asked about how she felt about the 1930's wardrobe of a past movie she was a part of. Makes no sense. I cannot understand why she was so mean to that reporter. I hope she apologizes.
Why does Blake use the word "multitudes" so often? And those horrible earrings clacking together should have been denied by the sound crew.
So I need to know why author unfollowed justin when she know exactly what books is,
Mean Girl made it about herself vs giving the platform to the real DV survivors, the ones that would have a massive voice, unfortunately she’s like JLO and just wants to look pretty and pose
I dont want to watch mean and rude blake lively...
I agree
The only reason I would watch this movie, it is because of him.
Justin is a class act because Blake Lively is allegedly doing all she can to ruin this man’s name. What a shame.
Maybe Blake suspects he lingered too long in the kiss because she participated in that conduct with Ryan while he was married to Scarlett.

Damage control lol
Blakes acting seems to be pretty bad here.

It’s hilarious how Blake Lively chooses when speaking about the costumes is offensive or not. If she brings it up, ok. If you do, watch out.
Is no one going to talk about how Colleen is a sellout? Back up your director who did a phenomenal job!
She's not promoting Blakes lotaburger or what.
I love how they are trying so hard to make these men seem feminine with their outfits for these interviews. This is a super feminine jacket. This was 100% not Justin's idea...
She is so mean!!
👀
He repeats what he said about blake in two different interviews
She says nothing good about him or the movie, he is the one selling this movie
It’s just a movie
I like Justin but Blake is not a good choice for her character.
He is so professional but there are parts of the movie that are trash especially the end was BS not realistic of a calm ending murder suicide is real and children pay the price they loss their peace and innocence get to know the people you make a family with have your family involved to stay connected to be your support system keep connections stay in your life don't let anyone isolate you from your friends and family and your own personal growth and your children all need you to be healthy and who you are
Why doesnt Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni just put their issues behind and promote the film together? This feud is so incredibly stupid
I think Justin is being mature about it. He's still following Blake on social media. He talks about Blake and her talent during his interviews. She's the one not mentioning him. She hasn't said his name once since promo began.
It’s Blake NOT Justin
Team Blake Lively! ♥♥♥♥
Why?
😂
@@iphotons She's bored.
